Diane at Sonrisa Blooms was an absolute dream to work with! After speaking to her on the phone we sat up a consultation at her shop and I came with a list of many different things I wanted for my wedding. She helped me wrangle my grandiose ideas based on what was available during the season of my wedding, all while keeping my budget in mind. This was far from an easy task but she was so patient and gave me all the time I needed. Her shop is so sweet and simple, what you see is what you get. She buys all her products fresh when you order them and the quality is unbeatable. During our first consultation I mentioned how much I loved chocolate sunflowers and wanted to include them in my bouquets, but Diane told me they were very hard to come by and pricey so we decided against them and moved on. We kept planning and meeting, crunching numbers and picking out product. Every time I had a new idea I called her or went to the shop and she was so warm and welcoming and helped me figure out how to make my vision come to life. Any time we interacted she made me her number one priority. She gave me her undivided attention and I was more than just a job to her. She genuinely cared about me as a bride/person and did everything she could to make sure my wedding flowers were exactly what I wanted. Diane told me one of her favorite things to do is personally hand deliver flowers to her brides on their wedding day. When the products for my wedding flowers came in, she sent me a sweet text to tell me how excited she was and it just reaffirmed I was in good hands! When she arrived to deliver flowers on my wedding day she had me close my eyes and put my bouquet in my hands, and when I opened my eyes I was blown away. My flowers were stunning! She had taken bits and pieces of all the photos I had shown her and listened to all the things I desired and brought it all to life. As I rotated my bouquet to examine all the flowers, what I saw brought me to tears! There, in all their glory, were those chocolate sunflowers I loved so much! I had only mentioned them one time, months earlier, and Diane remembered and hunted them down to surprised me. Not only were they in my bouquet but also in all the bridesmaid's bouquets and in the floral spray she made for our ceremony centerpiece as well. All the boutonnieres and corsages were gorgeous and full and put together with care and detail. She pinned all the flowers on all the groomsmen, designed our lavish centerpiece and cake toppers on site and even helped move our outdoor event inside when it rained unexpectedly. I couldn't have asked for more. To say Diane went above and beyond is an understatement. Not only is her work phenomenal, she is kind, patient and bring sunshine wherever she goes. Diane, the owner of Sonrisa Blooms, was easily my favorite vendor right from the beginning. When we met the first time she asked vital questions that I hadn't even thought of. She didn't get me an estimate during our visit but that didn't bother me, she got back to me within 48hrs. She worked extremely hard to stay in our budget and get me exactly what I wanted. My wedding flowers and my wedding in general had many small details that meant a lot to me and Diane made sure to get them right. My father had recently passed away and she made him a special arrangement for his empty seat at my wedding. To know that my fathers tribute was made with such love and caring hands was an incredible feeling. She even went as far as revealing it to me a day early so that I could see it's beauty and cry in its meaning without ruining my makeup the day of. Diane's communication was superb and she actually cared about me as a person not just as a customer. My flowers came out BEAUTIFUL and perfect and she did a special review for my bouquet which was so special. She knew everyone's names and gave everyone their bouquets personally which saved me a lot of hassle. The arbor flowers and decor, which was difficult due to the venues restrictions came out incredible and was exactly what I had imagined if not better. Last Thursday, the day before Valentine's Day, I was looking for a flower shop where I could purchase single blooms to make my own arrangement for my wife. I was greeted immediately as I entered the shop by Diane. She introduced herself and asked how she could help me. I explained what I was looking for. Diane Aldrich of Sonrisa Blooms created two utterly gorgeous floral arrangements for our brother-in-law's Celebration of His Life memorial service. Diane was not only completely professional in every way (and we are sharp critics in such an assessment), but also somehow managed to be so very kind, loving, personable and supportive in our time of profound grief. From the moment I walked into the shop (by accident), I was immediately intrigued by the custom work that Diane (owner) creates. On the surface, she could have easily interpreted that I was asking for a classical bouquet to match my friend's timeless style. Trying to find THE perfect florist in your town is always difficult, but when you're trying to order flowers via phone, from another state is next to impossible. You usually end up with a cookie cutter design, which is very disappointing. Not so with Sonrisa Blooms. I wanted to send my niece a bouquet of flowers to brighten her day while in the hospital.
