One of the Gerber daisies was broken when it was delivered and all three were dead and shriveled by the morning. Dead flowers happened on a previous order, you sent out a replacement bouquet that was absolutely gorgeous, so I tried your flower shop one more time. Never again. Go elsewhere. The owner is terrible. I'm out of town and ordered flowers for a neighbor whose dog just died. The website said Awaiting Fulfillment for four and a half days when the website touts same day delivery. I had scheduled it to be delivered the 6th of Oct. I would assume there would be a notification it was delivered or the order updated on the website. Nope. So I emailed to cancel and did a chargeback because I don't trust small businesses in ABQ. Rarely do I get what I paid for. The owner gives me attitude about it. She said the ordered was delivered. How was I to know if I got no email stating it was delivered and no update on the website? I'm out of town. My neighbor doesn't have my number. Please, explain to me like I'm five how I am supposed to know. The owner keeps doubling down in emails instead of stating "wow, you're right, the website wasn't updated" Absolute trash people and you get better service from a big name florist, which is pretty sad. I've lived all over this country and spent six years in an active war zone in the military and I can say I was treated better there than I was by this sad excuse of a florist. Next time I'll use someone else. Update: They have updated the website to finally say 'complete'. Today. Friday. When it should have reflected it on Monday. However, the owner didn't do it until she adopted that attitude. Again, how am I supposed to know when things are delivered if you can't update your website? You don't send out an email? I also ended up sending another bouquet via People's Flowers because no one at ABQ Florist could update the website, and I wanted to ensure she received flowers. My neighbor liked the People's Flowers bouquet better, so I'd go there from now on. read more

The worst centerpiece by far that I have ordered. (I'm 72 and have ordered many!) I requested few flowers like roses that wouldn't last long & red carnations if necessary for the Christmas table centerpieces (although stating I didn't like carnations (there were a few anemic looking mini white carnations with red rims/horrible!) and preferred red berries, some beautiful Christmas ornaments if possible with greenery & no limit in price but wanted something spectacular. It was to be delivered a week prior to Christmas Day and last over a week, even if a little plucking was necessary. It looked pathetic from the get-go & was mostly dead by 3 days no matter the effort watering it. Absolutely shocking! It was unusable long before Christmas Day. Very disappointing! Hard to believe the $120 arrangement (& willing to pay much more) was so horrible! NEVER use this florist. It looked like a 5 year old designed it! read more

Outstanding, large florist in ABQ. I wanted to get a bouquet for someone I interviewed. Everything is so cheap in New Mexico (minus Santa Fe), I figured $60 would get me something pretty big/great. Wish I had said $90 or $100. I had no preference for colors or flowers so just let them build me something. Such fantastic people! I was a bit surprised that $60 didn't get me that much more than in CA (but saved $30 on delivery: floral delivery is as bad as Ticketmaster, 1/3 is fees). And I am not a sunflower fan (though I do want to support Ukraine in any way I can). The client LOVED the bouquet, though, and it really was beautifully made. I'm just not into yellow/magenta and would have chosen lilies or something else had I not just gotten out of a 50 minute traffic jam on the 40. Bad accident so a 15 minute drive turned into three times that. Would recommend. A very LA/NYC vibe. read more

Contacted Albuquerque Florist on Wednesday, 10-29 around 9:00am for an out of state delivery yesterday afternoon. Never got word that anything was delivered. Called Albuquerque Florist this morning and the out of state florist "refused" delivery as they didn't have the requested flowers in stock. They notified Albuquerque Florist, but no one bothered to notify me, the consumer. When I called this morning, there was no effort on the part of Albuquerque Florist to rectify the error other than stating I should have called the out of state florist directly. I feel that as my direct contact, they could have have offered a more pro-active solution instead of tough luck. I'm afraid my credit card charge may not have been refunded had I not called. I have used Albuquerque Florist many times in the past with decent results, so this was transaction was very disappointing. read more

My wife and I spent $3,300+ on flowers for our wedding on 11/5/22. On the day of, the flowers arrived in an unacceptable condition. To quote our wedding venue director, she had never seen flowers arrive in such a poor state before. The boutonnières were falling apart before we even pinned them on the groomsmen. The table settings had flowers that were browning, as if they were days if not weeks old. We called ABQ Florist yesterday to discuss, and the general manager told us he would call back the next day at 9am alongside the events manager. So we made sure to set aside 30 minutes at 9am the next day, but never received a call. I finally call the shop and learn that neither the general manager nor the event manager are working that day. So why did the GM tell us otherwise? They are not attempting to make this right at all and just dodging the conversation. For the amount we spent, we are shocked at the quality of the flowers and the customer service experience. We had a set day/time for a conversation, and they showed zero respect for our time. We have numerous friends getting married over the next 18 months and will be sure to warn them about Albuquerque Florist. EDIT: Adjusting review to 4 stars. ABQ Florist got back to me and provided a partial refund for the issue. My wife and I are satisfied with the resolution. read more

Last minute order request for a coworkers birthday. Of course, this is during the week of Mother's Day on top of being midst COVID so I called to verify if my order could be delivered within the same day. My luck has it that one delivery driver had to leave early leaving the other drivers with unexpected deliveries. I called in from CA to set up a delivery to my sister and Grace was so attentive and enthusiastic to what I asked regarding the yes/no for the designers choice. Unfortunately though, and this was on me, I had called in day of delivery to make a change to the address due to last minutes changes (sister wasn't going to the office for work) and the young lady I spoke with was able to make the change with the delivery driver just in time! Although the order left around 7:30am, my sister still received it a few hours later! --I felt truly awful about it as I had worked at a flower shop in college so I know how frustrating it can be to inform the driver to have a sudden change of address in their route so I am SO APPRECIATIVE of the entire team for making the delivery a success! The store is very large and roomy with a giant selection of plants in pots and cut flowers as well as flower arranging and decorating items and tools etc.....They also have a nice succulent selection as well. The walk-in flower refrigerated room is an absolutely delightful sight and smell with a large selection of cut flowers of every kind!!! The staff were friendly and greeted me as I came in the door. They were also following covid safety protocols by wearing masks, using hand sanitizer and limiting the number of customers in the store.
