Told her I would like a bouquet built around red or pink she said she really didn't have anything didn't sound like she wanted to do it She ended up hanging up on me. My mom followed her dreams and ended up far away from her daughters (6 of us) and family. Today is her birthday and shes been having a very hard time at work because of nasty coworkers. So I wanted to make a splash for her today so she could let go of grief and feel uplifted. It cant be easy getting older when you lost a young daughter recently and having coworker squabbles. So I sent her flowers because I'm stuck in Seattle and cant hug her. I live pay check to paycheck so spending any chunk of change especial on something fleeting should be worth it. I wanted to support local business so I looked for a flower shop in my area and not give my friend some labeled bunch from a grocery store. I waked in this store and there was barely anything to look at. I was disappointed that I made the wrong choice. Then the owner came up and asked how she could help me. I explained I needed something for a friends birthday, but don't see anything out. She then took me into the actual refrigerator where she holds the flowers and said " what do you like"? OMG a custom bouquet based on what I like!!??? She made it for me on the spot ! Needless to say I loved the personalized service and my friend loved her flowers. Fantastic place !!!! I wanted to send an arrangement for a friend's Mom who was turning 91. She lives in a memory care facility in Albuquerque but I'm in Los Angeles. Because of Covid19 not many options, but found that Apple Blossoms West was open. I called and ordered an arrangement in what ever flowers they could find in reds and pinks. I let the florist, Suzanne, know that the birthday girl, Gloria, was a 91 yr old, feisty, Italian Mom and full of life. In her day, Gloria started a little club called the Red Shoe Gang, where her friends would get together always wearing red shoes and had little knick-knacks of red shoes. Red shoes were considered kind of racy but this group didn't care, they loved them, and wore them anyway. Apple Blossoms honored my memory of Gloria by providing a beautiful arrangement with a pair of ruby slippers, so perfect, so touching. Gloria was thrilled and I am thrilled at the extra effort made by such a lovely and thoughtful florist. read more

We used Apple Blossoms West for my daughter's wedding. Susan was amazing! We didn't really have a clue about what flowers we wanted or what they cost. Armed with only a few pictures we liked on Pinterest, Susan asked questions and showed us samples of her work and other bouquet styles. Then she pulled flowers from her display fridge and made sample bouquets. That was such a big help in figuring out size, colors, and blooms that looked good together!! She also explained costs of different types of roses and helped us pick what we liked but what wasn't the most expensive. What a difference from others we had met with. I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement and paid a premium for local delivery. The flowers were not delivered to the front door, but were left outside a backyard gate. My Mother looked everywhere for them, but did not find them until 24 hours after they were dumped behind the property. They had been knocked over, ad no water and were obviously wilted. I had 2 different arrangements going to 2 different people and Apple Blossoms mixed up the vases and didn't add color to one of the vases. They charged a 4 dollar service fee on each arrangement, who knows what that was for. The pictures of the bouquets were much prettier on the website than what was actually delivered. They had a good selection of loose flowers and pre-made arrangements. Florist was able to put something together for me while I waited. She did a good job of making arrangement look beautiful after I picked out some flowers to be wrapped. She tied with a pretty ribbon and choose colors that I suggested. Great place and good quality. Stopped in here to pick up some flowers for my sick friend. Unfortunately for me, it was Mother's Day weekend and so they were completely out of premade arrangements. They were busy when I came in, but the crowd quickly dissipated. A nice, but slightly frazzled lady offered to make a bouquet for me. They didn't have a large selection of flowers, but we were able to put together something nice. At first she told me the cost would be almost $50 for the arrangement not including the balloon (my daughter and I looked at each other horrified because it was not a big arrangement), but it ended up being around $39.75. The lady put the arrangement together beautifully and in the end I feel like I got what I paid for (as much as you can with the outrageous cost of flower arrangements). They were lacking in the selection of balloons, but just before I settled for a less than perfect one, I saw one that was just right. I think my total price, finally, was $46.50. All-in-all, a pleasant experience. read more

I ordered same day delivery flowers online for my girlfriend on the morning of the fourth of July to be delivered to her work. I was sent a receipt and confirmation for delivery, but the flowers never showed up. I called and e-mailed, but no one got back to me until the following day. I was told it was the website's fault and that I should never have been allowed to arrange for delivery on that day. The only offer for recompense was to have me still pay for the arrangement but to simply 'make it bigger and better'. I refused and was quickly shirked off as if it was me being rude. Terrible customer service and loss of a customer when the issue very easily could have been solved. With all the flower stores in Albuquerque, I recommend picking pretty much any other one. read more

Rude, rude, rude!!! The owner Susan was extremely rude and unwilling to make my situation better. When I approached her on the color of the ribbon not looking like what I had originally ordered and the roses had glue on them she immediately raised her voice and denied seeing any problem with the corsage and then stated that there was nothing she could do. I asked a couple of customers who walked in if they saw what I was seeing and they agreed with me, even after that she still was extremely difficult and did not want to remedy the situation, after much pursuation she reluctantly remade another corsage. I will never give them my business again and would not recommend them to anyone. If you are unhappy with your order in any way, you better watch out! read more

I placed an online order the day before my mothers birthday. I chose a bouquet with all roses and purple stock. The next day I got a call saying they didn't have those items available so I asked for a comparable bouquet to be delivered to my moms house. I was told they would be delivered that afternoon. They didn't deliver the flowers until 6pm when my mom was already gone and had to leave them on her doorstep until she got home late that night. The bouquet was made up of all carnations, daisies, babies breath, and had only 4 roses while the one pictured online had 14. It was really disappointing and very unprofessional.
