I've been to this location three different times and have been helped by different people each time. It seems a little funky because it's inside the Safeway right next to the pharmacy. They only take appointments (no walk-is) and you generally have to make your appointment at least a week in advance. I had to get a last minute labwork, done on Monday. I had been going to labcorp and getting an appt last minute there is impossible. So I made one here. I ended up going to the wrong one at first. Once I got to the right lab, (it's inside a Safeway and quite nice actually) I told them my situation. No one told me no, no one told me they can't do that, no one made me wait for an hour so they could figure it out. They understood, they were kind and accommodating, and patient. I had an appointment at 10:15am. My blood was drawn, I paid, and I was set up in the system for my weekly recurring appt in less then 20 min. It took labcorp 6 hour long visits, before they could figure out how to do set up my order. My out of pocket cost was even 8 dollars cheaper. I was so impressed that, I will be coming here now, instead of labcorp. read more

Regarding the Buckeye AZ site All the employees were wonderful However, the recording when you call to make an appointment stated all information and appointment times are accurate... this is NOT the case. I went for a routine test at 6:45 in the morning and was turned away because they only have one pickup for the samples which is after 9pm and my particular test needed to be read sooner for accuracy. This test is ordered for many many people on a daily basis across the nation!!!! Almost Every lab has a mid day pickup and an evening pick up... not this location! Only one pickup and late late at night!!! Meanwhile the same courier that picks up for Quest, picks up for a doctor MID DAY in the very same complex!!!! There is no way of knowing if your bloodwork needs to be read before the middle of the night until you actually go in and try to have it done.., it is then that they tell you, sorry there's only one pick up and you have to come in later.... ACCURATE??!!!! Not even close.... My advice DO NOT HO HERE unless you have time to return later in the day should you have a time sensitive test... UGH!!!' read more

DO NOT USE THIS LAB!!! Had blood tests done a week ago Thursday for a physical appointment today and had NO results in my portal. Called and was told that since one test was still waiting for a result, nothing is posted until all test results are complete! So asked it my Dr received the test results and was given the same answer - not until all results are in! I have spent over 50 years in healthcare and have NEVER heard a more asinine, foolish or an incompetent response as this one. Why do they not send test results as completed? Why not - because they are INCOMPETENT!! Go next door to Banner or down the hill to Abrazo until they can provide adequate customer service. You can be assured that I will be telling all my contacts in Estrella to avoid using Sonora Quest Labs!! Maybe Dave Dexter, CEO should pay more attention to the customer service they are NOT providing!! read more

Easy peasy! Had to get some labs done and went to make an appointment online and found there is a location inside the Safeway in Estrella! So close to home, in at 10:00AM, out by 10:15AM! Clean, friendly and 20 seconds after leaving the lab you can be at Starbucks. Love that! read more

My son had a scheduled appointment this morning for a lab draw. We were told by his PCP they would enter the orders into the computer and Sonora Quest could print them out on their end when we arrived. My son followed direction by the doctor to be fasting before hand. He was also told they would need a urine sample. When we arrived we were told my son the tech behind the counter that he really needed to void as soon as possible. She was unconcerned and refused to give him a cup stating she needed orders first. My son was in a great deal of pain and told her so. She seemed really unconcerned. He became frustrated due to lack of empathy and left the office when he left he pulled the door to close it. It slammed shut. It was unintentional on his part he just wanted to get to a bathroom as soon as possible due to the urgency. He recently had passed kidney stones. I got up to leave the office to follow him I also told the tech I would call the PCP's office to get the orders sent. She responded to me very rudely and said well if he is going to slam doors we aren't treating him.! I am extremely upset with the way we were treated. I am a medical professional and have never treated a patient like she treated my son. She needs to learn to be empathetic and polite. If she had been more accommodating and provided a specimen cup and let my son void while we contacted the doctors office this could have been easily resolved. Do not take your kids to this lab! I chose this location because it was listed as pediatric blood draws. Stupid me thought that meant someone who is good with kids amd gentle! Nope, my 8 year old was scared for about 30 seconds because the phlebotomist pulled us back and said nothing to my daughter. She squirmed briefly and tried to ask her a question amd she was told to hold still because another man was waiting. The inital stick wasn't bad, but she pulled the needle out pretty rough, brought tears to my daughters eyes, i was a little shocked. I have attached a picture of the end result. I will never use this lab again. SQL needs to be a little more selective when hiring apparently. I gave 1 star because scheduling online was easy. read more
