I came here for the first time today because the community washer & dryer facility at my apartment complex didn't appear to be open. I couldn't wait because I was out of clean clothes and really had to get them washed and dried. I am really grateful to find Sonny's Laundromat, which is really clean, and has super sleek and modern washer and dryer machines :) ! A lady named Teri was on duty and really helped to guide me through the card system for loading money so I could my new card for the washer and dryer services. I forgot to bring my laundry detergent. So she kindly sold me a small box of detergent for $2 :) ! She was so friendly, patient and courteous and answered all the questions I had :) ! I was so grateful :D ! There are plenty of regular seats inside while you wait for your laundry to finish, as well as some cubicle-like desk areas with chairs if you would like to hop on free WiFi and get some work done :) ! I brought my electronics and my work binder so I could get some work done while I waited. There are also nice and clean folding tables to fold your laundry when it is dried :) ! You can do your own service laundry like me :) ! Or you can opt to drop off your laundry for the employees to work on, and pick it up later. I opted to do my own laundry since it was cheaper. But overall, their available services are pretty reasonably priced :) ! There are different-sized washers, depending on how small, medium or large your load is. I had a medium sized load, so my wash was about $5.95 for 20 minutes. The dryer was $2 for 38 minutes. I was really relieved to finish my laundry so quickly :D ! This laundry facility exceeded my expectations with the excellent customer service :) ! Most of the customers who come here are pretty respectful as well :) ! I will definitely be back for my regular clothes, and also with my bedsheets and comforters next time ;) ! I also really like how there is plenty of parking :D ! And just to ease everyone's burden of carrying or wheeling their laundry load in, the front door automatically opens so you don't have to use extra hands just to open the door :) ! read more

I used to love coming here to wash my clothes. I decided to drop off my clothes to get washed for the first time and most of my clothes got ruined with stains! Idk how she managed to ruin my brand new clothes! I dropped off my detergent and everything needed for my clothes to be washed. I'll never go here again and I will be contacting the owner to get reimbursed for the service and replacement garments! read more

i've went here twice so far. a month or two ago. i went here tonight, and i don't know the dude that works here, but he was like RUSHING me and my partner to get done. he RUSHED us to leave before it was even time to close. it was 9:40 and they close at 10. he left as soon as we got rushed out. are you kidding me? we didn't even get the time to fold our laundry or anything. i don't know what dude it is, but he's crappy and rushing us to get out way before it is even closing time. i don't know his name, but gosh forbid if you can only come at night, he will rush you to get out before it's even closing time. i dealt with a really nice lady here a month or two ago. i wish i knew her name. she was so helpful and a sweet heart, but him.. no way. he needs to learn that he can leave whenever people get done with their laundry not rushing us to get out WAY before closing time. hell, he even came up to our car to tell us to move our laundry to the dryer asap.. ridiculous worker. other than his bull crap, the place is nice. the washers are great and it's a good place. he just needs to do his job right and not rush us or anyone to get out WAY before closing time. ridiculous. read more

They do wash/fold services, but fail to fold all clothing items and does NOT secure folded clothing w/ paper strips as I'm accustomed. Clothes are dropped back into basket or back indiscriminately into laundry bag. I generally pay $12 for my load and tip $3 for their effort. Help is usually pleasant and some don't speak English. Bring CASH. They except cards. Clothing is always clean. No complaint there. Laundromat is clean, also! read more

tldr: kinda pricy, but it makes sense because of all the new sleek washers and dryers. there's some cheapo 1.49 ones though, but they don't carry as much as the new washers. Friendly service, very clean. Not bad! So our washer broke down and my family wanted to try a laundromat that had newer equipment than the one down our street. The new sleek washers here can wash up to 4 loads at once, which is super cool! Expect you gotta fork over 4.49 for those. the big mama 8 loader washers cost 7.59 to use, and the normal white top loader washers are your average 1.49. There's only 7 of the cheapo ones though, and today there were like 4 other people here washing and we all had to kinda beat each other to the punch when it came to the cheap ones. The dryers are all new, and cost 1.49 for 38 minutes and we used one to dry 4 of our loads at once (not bad!). The lady working here was nice and helped us out with their confusing card system, and the store was very clean. The 6 tvs there were nice too, something to distract while waiting. It's kinda pricy for my taste, but it's worth it. :) read more

I normally come here every weekend for the past three years to do my laundry. I've had some issues in the past with the dryers chewing up my clothes, but not to bad, just a couple small holes in some t-shirts but they were old to begin with. These past three weeks one of their only two large washers have been working and today I come in to do my laundry and have now been sitting here for 15 minutes waiting for some jerk to come and pull his already done laundry out so I can wash mine. Why you ask am I waiting? Because the girl on shift laughed when I complained and said yeah people do that and turned away from me to keep going about her business. WORST SERVICE EVER read more

Unfortunately we had to stop in and wash a blanket. They don't take quarters and they don't help you out here. I had to buy a card for a buck and fill it up. So, it cost $3.63 to wash. Well if I want to dry the minimum is $1.49. Weird I only have $1.37 left on the card. For .12 I can't use my debit card to fill it to exact I have to use cash; but wait, they don't take cash except to fill up the card. lol worst experience ever. The née girl here been here Six months and is nice but should find a better place to work. She deserves it! So, I found a bigger dryer for $2.39 which I am still short on but what the heck it's bigger and will dry faster. So now I have .98 on my card and can't get a refund since I'm driving through and will never ever come back here. Our winter home is on the east side and we have a washer but not for this big blanket. I will be donating this blanket after I'm done with it to never endure the criminals of this place again. Two stars instead of one because the dryer will dry the blanket in about 12 minutes leaving 26 minutes for me to donate to someone here. read more

I rarely need to use a laundromat these days, but when I first moved to the area, I googled places near me and this one popped up as one of the best rated. Even though there are closer laundromats to my house than Sonny's, I keep going back for my random laundromat needs. The place is always clean, never busy, and the staff is friendly. I love their super sized washers and dryers for when my down comforter needs to be washed. You can even leave your items with the staff and they'll take care of it for you! read more

This laundromat uses a key card system that you load money onto in order to use the machines. You pay $1 to get the card issued, once you are finished with your laundry the employee here won't refund you the money that's left on the card. I spent $50 on wash and drying my family's clothes and linens, and had a remaining $21 on my card and they refused to give me the remaining cash back, so I guess I'm out $21. Also the machines don't add up evenly on the dollar so they force you to spend extra to finish a load of laundry in dryer knowing damn well they won't refund you what is remaining on your card. Visiting from out of town and am very impressed with this laundromat. Spotlessly clean and the employees here are the nicest people. Very helpful getting me set up with their payment cards and getting me change for a $20 bill. She also showed me where the cheapest washer was--$0.99 single load on Wednesdays and Thursdays! If I lived here, I'd always do my laundry here! read more

Very nice staff and helpful. Also the facility itself is very clean. They have an ATM for cash withdrawals but I would recommend having cash on you just in case. They use a reloadable card system which I think could be good or bad, however you look at it. Definitely keeping this place in mind for future bedding washes. I have gone to this laundromat for several years. The employees have always been helpful and the facility was always spotless. Today was another story. It was filthy. The employee was outside helping a friend/relative clean their car and then left and went to the convenience store for snacks or something. It was unbelievable. There was trash all over the floors. Apparently the owner/boss called at some point because the employee then started bad mouthing him. I'm not sure that I won't give it another try, but I won't go out of my way to return. read more
