3 meat combo
Matt P.

I must say the food here is inconsistent. I got the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket on two separate occasions. The first day the food was pretty good, and the second time it was just meh. The ribs were dry and the brisket was dry and chewy. If the food was consistent, they'd get an extra star from me.

Not the best bbq place I have ever been to, but also not the worst. They dont have much of a beer list except domestic beers. I also felt judged when I asked the waitress for the "drink list" and she straight up told me "they only have beers". Which...was exactly why I wanted the list in the first place. They do have their own "Sonny amber beer" on draught, which I tried and it was pretty good. The sandwich itself was only good with their bbq sauce on it. In my opinion, the meat was way too smoked and a bit overbearing, but it was balanced well with some bbq sauce. The mac and cheese had a hair in it and I got it sent back, and got a new one. Kind of shocked they didn't offer us a discount or a complimentary offering of some sort to make up for the gross hair.

Very disappointing, the brisket was too dry. Even if I put bbq sauce it. Maybe it's better to eat there, this was takeout.

Great food, good prices, great service. You will not be disappointed. Try the dry rubbed ribs and fried okra.

Nice place. Smelled the savory bbq the moment we walked in. Good customer service. Short wait time. Portions were filling.

The food is good ish, but it wasn't as much as an emotional experience finding a mom and pop spot in the back woods that has amazing bbq. The sides were ok, this is where the mom and pop locations shine. Corn was ok and had better Mac. The meat was good but the brisket was dry. Maybe I had just an old or bad slice. This could depend of when you come and will give them a pass on that. Found it over priced to be honest. I enjoyed it, sadly I don't think I will be back. If your are around one and wanted to enjoy some bbq sure come here. But I think you can find much better in Georgia.

Wheelchair accessible is a major plus. Clean establishment and restrooms. Staff is always friendly and offer conversation as well as food recommendations. We typically like the three meat and sides plate. It's enough food for two people. I've had every combination possible. I most enjoy their jalapeño cheddar sausage and chicken. My husband loves the ribs. I also love getting the bbq sandwich off the kids menu for something smaller. Get the baked beans and potato salad. Slaw is vinegar based. Brisket chili is another good option for a small upcharge. Everything is so good! And served hot. You also get complimentary cheddar biscuits for an appetizer. Drinks include a full bar and coke products. Patio is dog friendly so bring fido along!

While I understand businesses may ask questions about service animals, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. Krysta loudly questioned me in front of other customers and began reading questions from a paper about what tasks my dog performs. When I tried to explain that I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), she was dismissive and laughed, which was humiliating and embarrassing. Not all disabilities are visible. I felt singled out, judged, and treated with a lack of respect simply because I do not "look disabled." My dog was clearly identified as a service animal, and I even offered proof when questioned. What upset me most was not being asked a question, but the rude and public manner in which I was treated. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed because of a disability. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan on returning.

Imagine my surprise that a place for wings has egg fried rice... that turns out to be pretty good!…read moreI was skeptical when my brother told me about it because I thought it would just be salty rice with egg bits, but it's not. It's good. Upgrading from fries when ordering wings is the move. Hot, crisp wings and fried rice makes for a filling combination, though the fries are also good. They're crinkle cut and have fry seasoning on them. At the counter or at some of the tables, they have lemon pepper and fry seasoning shakers, so you could add more to your taste. They also give sauces on wing orders, the classic choices of ranch or blue cheese, and have yum yum sauce for the rice that I personally did not need. As for the sliders, they use Hawaiian rolls and put a sauced tender between it. Not sure why, but the Louis Louis tender was drier than the Cali Chik one, which was moist and tender. It wasn't that dry, but in comparison, the difference was noticeable. Can't go wrong with getting sliders. I've only ever ordered food here at night because it's open pretty late (10:30, which is rare in this part of GA if it's not a bar). They're usually not busy at this time, so the food comes out pretty fast. It's always hot and fresh, which helps when adding additional seasoning because it sticks better. When picking up an order, they check over things with you to make sure everything is all good. The sauces I've tried: - Cali Chik - not like Chick-fil-A's Polynesian sauce despite what it says. Still good, and it does have a sweetness to it. Not sour either. - Gangnam Style - Sweet, savory goodness. It's a pretty strong flavor. - Louis Louis - tastes like a seafood boil to me. - Orange Panda - has a very mild tang, but I wouldn't say it tastes like orange chicken from Panda Express. - Lemon Pepper - lemony and peppery, in which you could add more of with their shakers. - Peach on Fire - a very sweet bbq that's not spicy at all. It could be uneven saucing because someone tried a wing and got a spicy one when all the others were not spicy. - Whole Sha Bang Bang - fun, bbq comes through the most, but it's a mix of a lot of their sauces.
