We have always been greeted with a smile and served with kindness. You can decide to eat outside on the patio or inside the "old church" building.

One of the staff recommended eats is the cheeseburger and duck wings. The smash burger and fries is very addicting. Maybe one of the best smash burgers I've had in a while. The duck wings are a generous portion size and a tasty sticky kind of goodness. We originally wanted brussel sprouts but it sold out so opted for the beet salad which is pretty good too. All in all, I'm surprised the food is so good! I may have enjoyed it more than the flight of beers we ordered. I told the staff to choose a selection for us. The CPA is one I prefered most among the ones I tried, with a bit more floral or complex notes than the rest. This family-run brewery and restaurant was converted from a small church and has been opened for a couple of years. Find your own seat, order and pay in the front and food would be sent to your table. The tip range suggested the same as a full service restaurant. There are six communal tables and also enclosed sheds outside for additional seating.

Although there's no…read morekitchen here, you are able to bring your own food and enjoy their beers on site, which I found really nice to be able to do your own thing and have some great beers at the same time! I grabbed one of their beer flights for sampling, my favourite one was their Beardmore Kolsch Style Ale, it was light and refreshing as described, my kinda as I tend to lean towards lighter brews. The staff and owner were all very warm and hospitable, a spot I'd love to return to on my next visit to Georgetown!

Upstairs is a lounge where you can drink. We got the chance to check out the back and learn some about how beer is made and how the process leads to delicious tasting beer. When you're at the bar you can order a flight of 4 beers. I think this is the best deal to check out their great lineup of beers. The service was friendly and informative. I cannot count how many times, patiently, the sales rep explained what each beer was like and which were the favourites. The beer is absolutely delicious. I think we all typically associate craft beer with hoppy beer but this wasn't the case here. Everything was super smooth and delicious! Definitely a place I'll be checking out again and encourage others to check out! Unfortunately there's no kitchen here but there are snacks you can purchase, along with some swag. Of course, don't forget to check out Chicken Man!

No electricity, No refrigeration, No machinery... Everything are done by hand with no chemical or preservatives! This is different than the commercial version that they sell in LCBO. We ended up tasting 3 samples - Rifleman's Ration - brewed especially for the season is unfiltered brown ale, caramel and earthy taste Stout - really flat, taste just like medicine.. but apparently rich in iron IPA - really interesting taste as it is brewed with a citrus hop, quite difference than the usual IPA Tour itself is really interesting! Not only about the historic brewing method but a great lesson of Ontario's beer history. The costumed guide was quite entertaining and I love how all the participants were involved. We were all assigned as one of the historical characters: Brewers, Politicians, Tavern Owners, Temperance Advocates* At the end of the tour, you also able to purchase a 2 L growler with beers that are brewed on site ($12+$4 deposit). The only downside is in order to visit the brewery, $15 admission to the Pioneer Village has to be paid on top of the tour itself! If not I won't mind coming to the Brewery Pub to have a drink of their special brews!! And if you drive, $7 extra for parking! Cheers to "The Queen & Country!" * I am Jesse Ketchum, My friend is Timothy Eaton which ironically were against the consumptions of beers!!!

Awareness of Ontario Craft Brews available. I really thought I was edumacated. I was wrong. I was schooled BIGTIME. By a young miss in mid-1800s period costume. Black Creek Historic Brewery. HISTORIC being word of the day. CRAFT being key. Nobody can be designated more as craft unless they handbrew in their basement. ...with a Copper Pot, Kettle, and a contraption holding Wooden Beer Barrels. Whoever has that Mancave setup with 70" LED Smart Flatpanel TV, gimme a shout. 150+ years from now, someone will laugh at you about that historic LED Smart TV. As I smirked at the quality of Historic-style Brown Ale, Stout and IPA provided to us. Here's the catch. Historic Brewery Tour serves up Beer the Historic way, as it was. No frosted Beer Can showing you it has reached Rocky Mountain Coldness. Why? Think back when you were 150 years younger. Electricity, Fridge, Machinery. Nada. It so happens even Carbonation didn't exist. Flat lukewarm Beers anyone? So you've tried Black Creek from your local LCBO? Doesn't taste as bad as I've said? Those Bottles my dear Friend are made at a separate Commercial Brewing Facility. I have a couple in the Fridge myself waiting for something historic to happen, cheers. Please pay for the Historic Brewery Tour($4.50+purchase of Village Admission[$15]) The one-hour history lesson with the lively young miss alone is worth every Penny. If the 1858 Canadian Penny is equivalent to $19.50 today. Btw, it's worth much more. This Brewery is truly Historic. Lesson Learned.
