Would give it 0 if I could. Just went in to ask to buy some pepper spray which it said on their…read moresite that it was in stock. When I asked the cashier behind the counter she first said "we don't carry that" I pulled up the webpage and showed her that it says you do. She said "I guess I can check to see if we do" and WOW sure enough they do! She then says "oh wow it says we do...but it was shipped to us in February" I stared at her and she stared back at me because I have no clue what that sentence means. I asked "so are you going to point me in the right direction?" And she goes "oh it's in our backroom." And again stares at me without saying anything else. I say "ma'am I'm not an employee I can't go into your back room- can you get it for me then?" She says "uh hang on" then calls over another cashier who looks around the front of the store for a second and says "yeah they're not up here" I then begin to question if I'm in the twilight zone and state "she says you have them in stock but their in your backroom. I would like to purchase one can someone go and get me a can of pepper spray?" The cashier repeats that theyre not upfront- to which I finally break and stare "it appears that I'm being an inconvenience to you all by asking you to do your job while you're at your job. Clearly no one wants to help or sell this product to me so I will take my business elsewhere" I can't recommend going to another location. I get that the product I'm looking for isn't a regularly sold item at Dicks but for Christ sake; if it's available why is no one trying to sell a customer their product? And it made me look like the asshole- which makes me not only never want to come back here but to write a review on how awful the place is to convince more customers to not come here. I get that your store is named Dicks, but that doesn't mean you have to act like one to your customers...

He was very helpful, professional and cared about satisfying our request and would not allow us to purchase anything that would not satisfy our needs. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and kindness. Two terrible experiences with the marine service and parts department yesterday…read more 1) On Tuesday I called about getting a PWC battery. I was told to call ahead of time so they can add acid and charge up the battery, no problem. I was told the battery was $172 (before taxes, etc). I called the next day to order the battery and when I picked it up I was charged $203 (before taxes, etc.) I told the salesperson that I was told the battery was $172, he didn't care, he charged me $203. 2) They add 3% if you use a credit card, but not if you use a debit card or pay by check. No problem, I get it, but I told them you should let people know ahead of time (I would have brought a debit card), the salesperson said "sometimes" we tell the customer (huh?), the salesperson could care less. The salespeople's attitude was that they didn't care at all that they screwed this customer. I'm afraid they have lost a longtime and repeating (PWC and ski package) customer. Maybe business is so good they don't care about customers.

I would love to give a higher rating on this Famous Footwear location, but I can't. This Famous…read moreFootwear store is an incredible shopping plaza with other premier tier stores. Famous Footwear has a great selection of shoes of various styles, brands, and sizes. You really have to watch the prices on the shoes because they do fluctuate quite a bit. Expect to pay $70 or higher on many of the shoes. The is a style of shoe I bought about 6 years ago and still on display in the store. However, the price is much higher than I paid previously. There is a few rack of clearance shoes as well. There is usually a few workers in the store to help you, but most likely to point you in a direction especially if there are multiple groups in the store. Most times, the personal experience of measuring for a shoe size is dependent on the customer. In the front of the store, there is a spinning gondola of drawstring bags and bookbags primarily Nike and Adidas. If you don't see a shoe size or style you like, an associate can order it and ship it to you. You may have to ask especially if the store gets busy. Always check the Famous Footwear app for great deals BOGO's on shoes and more. The app also gives Birthday rewards.
