Honestly, I never had planned to review sonic drive-through, or drive in which I did. I took my convertible there, Sunday night, top down, beautiful night. I pulled my convertible up to the screen, was easy to read and such tempting choices. If I didn't know better, I'd think the devil was behind the temptation of these food choices. Due to craving, I opted for the chili dog, which, is sitting in my passenger seat right now, which I can't finish it. And it's not even the foot-long. Think about it size matters when it comes to dogs lol. The food was out promptly. My server did not give me her name and she did not want a tip! Just wanted to help me she kept calling me, sir and when I said call me Brad she said I couldn't remember everybody's name. I see a lot of people; and she said it's so innocently. I was like I'm not affronted by that whatsoever. So excellent service- - she even got me ice water cause I was sort of parched from riding in the convertible. Again, no opportunity for a tip she wouldn't wouldn't take it. It's like it was her personal mission to just help us and she didn't care about any monetary or kind of any kind of gain. The food. Excellent. As I stated above half my chili dog is not eaten yet. We're gonna try after I write this review and it's not gonna be easy folks. And then the tots again I've got about three left and I've had my fill of tots. Picture yourself at the movies and you get the large popcorn you need about 3/4 of a box and then you're like uck!! But the taste on point the perfect crispiness yes whoever made them knew how to pull a basket out of a bin expediently. And again let's talk about the shake. It is monster size Frankenstein walked up and tried to get some, but I drove away. Not. But seriously come here in your convertible or Kia Sportage or whatever it's worth it. My bill was like $14 and that's it for this food and this environment. I'll take it. J Brad over and out read more

Great food m, great service nice and hot, service was great just need more ketchup Would recommend read more

They changed the cherry limeade and it sucks now! It tastes like flat 7 UP or like all carbonated. The carhop actually remade it for my husband because it was so bad and it was exactly the same. She told us they changed the recipe. The service was great otherwise. read more

Last night I had to run out and do some alone shopping for the family and on the way home I knew just where to stop for a good quick bite. I tried the new smasher and thought it was alright (kind of a Steak 'n Shake knockoff), but the real win is always the grape slush with nerds and a corn dog I mean what's genuinely a better late night snack. read more

Horrible service. I requested a certain item made as a single and was yelled at dismissed. I can only have small portions but it was his attitude that made me drive away and go to Panera bread! Ambiance wasn't present only rude unprofessional disrespectful controlling employees! Doesn't deserve 1 star! Hire employees that are willing to accommodate customers as it's a medical need because it is for some of your customers! read more

I haven't been to a sonic in years but I got a gift card so I thought I would try it, and it was definitely worth it! They redid a lot of things in the past few years so many old reviews may not be relevant anymore. The people were nice, they were fast for dinner rush, and the food was great! I definitely recommend the masters shakes! I got the Oreo peanut butter one and OMG!!! Heavenly! I definitely recommend trying sonic for yourself and ignore the bad reviews until you've seen it for yourself! read more

We placed a mobile order and checked in at the drive thru speaker. It was a quick and easy process and the girl at the speaker was friendly. The food is meh (what you'd expect at Sonic/fast food) but the frozen limeades are where it's at. Docked a point because we ordered a Crispy Tender Dinner and received a single onion ring in the box. Overall, Sonic is great if you're looking for somewhere casual with frozen limeades or a large menu (plus breakfast all day)! read more

Service was awful only thing worse was the food! Greenish looking hot dog (I tossed it) and cold tots (followed the dog into trash. It wasn't worth complaining. AVOID AT ALL COST!! read more

Stopped last night (1/27/24) for a special treat for the kid. The kids (ages 14,10, & 8) knew the drive thru worker was out of line with her tone and how she addressed us. Not only was she rude to us as the customer but she could also be heard talking down to her fellow co-workers. I get being unhappy and all but she took rude to a whole new level. Leaving one star is generous given the atrocious customer service, but the treats we got were yummy! read more

Refuses to make doordash orders with driver at store ready for pickup. Not happy with the service

I go to this location occasionally and today was different. I ordered the normal (2 Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger) but the burgers weren't how they usually are. They were really small and the service wasn't that great. The service isn't great normally but I felt rushed and had to wait a while, I was the only one in line.... read more

First time at sonics in a long time. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender combo with a cherry limeade slush and the slush was the only thing that was worth the money. The 3 pieces of tenders I got were super small and overcooked. And there wasn't even a handful of tots. All for almost $10... mean it worth the money at all. read more

starving right now I tried to order my dinner while I pick my door dash order up they said no i guess i will take my starvation somewhere else read more

I was excited to finally eat at a Sonic and I sure picked the wrong one to try! Food was almost inedible for the most part, overcooked corn dog (but some how cold in the middle), chili cheese tots were nuked in the microwave with no cheese, hamburgers tasted old and strange. Very dissatisfied, beware!! read more

Seems like they don't listen very well asked for no cheese on the burger and I got exactly what I didn't want. I understand that good help is hard to find. So the customer pays the price. read more

This is literally the worst Sonic experience I've ever had. I ordered a diet Cherry limeade which had zero carbonation, no ice in the cup, and was mostly just fake cherry syrup. It was so gross I threw it away after two gulps. I also had a corn dog that was so over cooked that the external breading almost couldn't even be cracked by biting into it, not that I really even wanted to take a bite after seeing how overdone it was. Awful. No idea how this place is still open. read more

I wanted to leave a review because I saw a lot of bad ones that didn't match the experience I just had. Quick service. The girl at the window was really nice and all the employees were in great moods. The energy was good. I had to take away a star because they gave me signature sauce instead of syrup on accident but it's not a huge deal. read more

So I get it, it's Memorial Day weekend and the weather is beautiful. I don't mind waiting but I do mind it when most of the order is completely messed up. Both sandwiches were totally wrong with toppings we asked to leave off (now I can peel off some lettuce but not mayo or bbq sauce). And then the pretzel twist looks dehydrated with about 8 salt crystals. Last but not least, they had no Oreos for their Sonic blasts. Disappointing planning or maybe a lack of planning on their parts. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Pretzel twisy - Burgers Near Me - Wyoming, Michigan

This location is a lot slower than the one on Alpine, and the food falls short of the sonic standard. On our last visit, we noticed that the burgers had very little toppings, the food was cold, yet the fries seemed to be hard and overdone. One of our drinks was made incorrectly, which usually isn't a big deal, except they put lime wedges in which is a very powerful Taste. We also ordered a bag of ice and a side of cheese sauce, Neither of which were included in the bag. Our fault for driving away without the bag of ice, but by the time we realized we knew we would have to sit in line for another 20 minutes just to make it back to the window. when I called the manager said there was nothing they could do unless I could provide a receipt. I will pick steak 'n Shake next time, and save my sonic cravings for when I am up on Alpine. read more

Used the app thinking it would be quicker but it took way longer than other locations. But giving the benefit of the doubt we gave it a second chance and we watched at least 15 cars and waited over 20 minutes! Out order came out with hot food cold and slushies were melted to a cold syrup drink. Mistakes happen but don't make the patrons pay for your mishap. read more

This is the second time I came here and got an All-American Dog. And second time the hot dog is all shriveled up and cold. Pretty pitiful for a hot dog if he asked me. I don't know how this place stays in business? read more

Hands down one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Everything was ice cold and every item in my order was prepared incorrectly. They were fully staffed and busy, so how we got stale fries is beyond me. I wouldn't eat at this location again if they paid me to. Avoid at all costs. Very disappointed. read more

We used to like this place but after last nights visit (2/24/2015 at around 6:30pm), I will not NEVER be back to this location. I will start off by saying the people working there tonight were friendly but that is where the good in this experience ended. We pulled into one of the stalls & placed our order (2 of the new spicy 4 piece Super Crunch Dinners, a corn dog kids meal, & chicken strip kids meal, & large mozzarella stick) when we finished our order we were told we would need to go through the drive thru in order to pay & pick up because of the weather (it wasn't snowing, their lot was cleared & it wasn't too cold, so not sure why), there was a line in the drive thru. It took us 25 minutes to get to the window, pay for our food, and receive our food. We parked at the Target next door to eat. As we went through our items we noticed that items were missing (toast & onion rings that were supposed to come with our dinners). As we began to eat our meals we noticed how nasty & cold everything was (go figure seems how it sat there for almost a half hour!). We also noticed that in one of our chicken dinners we ordered we got 4 of the spicy chicken strips and on the bottom of that box was an original and it was OLD & DISGUSTING (you could tell it was sitting there for longer than when we ordered!) We drove back to go through the drive thru in order to let them know how awful our food was and about the missing items but the line was so long, we were not going to wait (we had kids to get home & into bed). This was the most disgusting food we have tasted at a Sonic! So disappointed in this visit. UPDATE: Tried this location again on 6/4/2015 @ around 6:30pm, Guy taking my order was very friendly, the female car hop (blonde girl) not so much! We didn't have any of the sauces we asked for so had to call the car hop out again & no napkins. Now the food, my corn dog was burnt & DISGUSTING, tasted as if it had been sitting for hours (was cold & tasted extra greesy), my poppers where cold (& really greesy tasting, maybe change your cooking oil once in awhile!), cheese not even close to melted and nasty, I could go on about the rest of the food we received but this would be a really long review! Needless to say this meal for my family was a complete failure AGAIN, what is going on at this location!! read more

Absolute rudest worker I've ever met. Food gas but the worker was a BIATCH!!! Like so annoyed

I also understand it is Memorial Day - I worked a whole shift with no air conditioning and it was darn hot. I waited in line to get a drink after work. I get up to speaker and order Med diet cherry lime aide - a gal asks if anything else and I stated I just found coupon ; another gal comes on speaker and so very rude. She said you already ordered what do you want now. I started to explain the above wanted to use coupon for route 44 and still a med diet cherry limeade - she kept YELLING at me when after 2 tries that I couldn't do that as I already ordered and stated she'd "disconnect " me. I never had a problem here and then I ask for manager name this is when she disconnected me. This was so very nit cool as I'm a loyal customer (3x week). She could of just listened instead of being upset!! read more

I don't usually do this, but my goodness this was the Worst sonic ever! Most of the staff members working 3.25.2022 were VERY slow. Messed up my order several times and after sitting for 13 plus mins never heard an I'm sorry or we'll fix that no problem. The manager never once apologized to us just rudely judged me from the window. Don't waist your time stopping here it's a waist of money and time. Just got to stake n shake next door or chick fil a across the street. Save yourself the stress and conflict. read more

Used to like this place, but today (January 30th, 2013 at 9:35am) I found (and bit into) a cooked cockroach on my supersonic cheeseburger. This caused me to immediately puke all over. Absolutely disgusting! I called to comments/complaints number and they made it out as a very minor deal. A health inspector really needs to check out this place. A couple times in the past I have also gotten bone chips in the burgers here. read more

Sonic had FINALLY come to the area. My trips to the South have always had a trip to a Sonic. Last time I went to see a friend in Florida she refused to take me because it was "junk food". On the last day I finally wore her down enough to take me. And you know what? She actually enjoyed it. Going in to Sonic you know it isn't health food. It is greasy goodness. I usually get the Sonic Burger and a Cherry Limeade. I skip the fries usually because I don't need the calories. I guess you ask if I'm counting calories why do I eat here? Good question. The food is good. Service is fast and friendly. When Sonic first opened it was months before you could even get in without a LONG wait. Now the novelty has worn off a bit and you can get in no problem. If you have never been to a drive-in treat yourself and try it. read more

I love the Chili Cheese Tater Tots at Sonic. I tend to just use the drive through but the roller skating wait staff that brings your food to the car almost makes it worth doing the park and eat thing. read more

Their slushies and drinks are so good! I also get a strawberry pineapple slushie. Go for the drinks! It is reasonably quick. The food is ok, my son swears by their corn dogs. The tots are good too! We like doing the car hop service best! It seems to be quicker than the drive through. read more

Coming from Chicago and someone who has experienced SuperDawg many times this drive-in is doable but lacks charm. I like the rollerskate delivery girls, even in the winter months but maybe it's the location to me that seems forced. The food was what I expected for fast food and I like the happy hour idea for their drinks (Limades, Slushies, Smoothies). I'd go back if someone wanted to try it but I'd rather have Culver's fast food burgers. read more

This Sonic has the worst service I have ever encountered at any fast food restaurant. The service is slow, they do not keep to the order of first come first served, and the staff is very careless and unfriendly. We sat in their drive thru lane for 10 minutes, while the car behind us got their food and drink order before us. Keep in mind, we only order 4 drinks. The staff could have cared less when we brought it up, and the fact that it cost $10 for those 4 drinks is simply ridiculous. Long story short, It'll be a long time before my family and I return to this Sonic. read more

I had seen the commercials 1000 times but never been to a Sonic, so we decided to grab a milkshake. The service was quick, affordable, and the shakes were delicious.
