Oh my God, one and done…read more Swig doesn't allow you to go into the store and this is a drive-through location only (and kind of a too-jammed-up site as well). This was our first--and last--visit. I made a mobile order ahead of time, thinking that might facilitate things. WRONG. Got to Swig ten minutes later to find cars wrapped around the building. But they move pretty quickly, right? WRONG again. They had a kid out with his little flip menu taking orders, one excruciating car at a time. I finally got to the kid, told him I had a mobile order, and drove on to the window. At the window I was inexplicably asked to pull into a parking spot in front of the store, where we got to watch employees dashing around in the store, dropping stuff and literally ricocheting off each other. I'm serious. At least that was entertaining while we watched car after car (that made in-line orders) get served and roll on through while we sat. And sat. Without exaggeration, our order (three sodas, pretzel bites, and mini cookies) took nearly 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure they forgot us. And remember: you. cannot. go. inside. So there we sat, watching the show. When our stuff was finally brought out to us, I handed out the drinks and the pretzel bites.......no cookies . At this point we could only laugh. And YOU CAN'T GO INSIDE TO FIX IT. I was going to just spin around through the drive-through and ask for the damn stupid cookies, but yet again, there were cars around the building, and after 3/4 of an hour we were so done. Swig got our cookie money but they lost customers, not just because of the wait time fiasco (this is SODA ffs), but because to top it all off the sodas were awful. This isn't sour grapes or having to wait too long. They were grotty. If you like sugar on top of your sugar, and paying $30 for it, this is your jam. These drinks were so incredibly sweet they were inedible. There was no nuance or flavor profile...the menu made them sound so good, but the reality is you just taste genuinely epic (and not in a good way) amounts of sweetness. It all blends together--until it doesn't. Even with all the ice they aren't appealing. Five minutes later all the drinks had separated with clear liquid on the bottoms of the cups. Just...yuck. I can see 13-year-old kids swooning for this stuff, but if you have any sort of an adult palate whatsoever...you've been warned.

It was ultimately too salty for me, but not for my companions but they liked it. Sidenote: I will never look at shower caps the same after seeing it used (or something similar) as a cover for the popcorn when we took it to-go. Which I thought was quite clever. I made my own combination and it wad great. Wait time was about 10 minutes because there was only one staffer but she was awesome-serving those inside and in the drive-thru. I also liked that they let customers post things on the wall with sticky notes according to the theme they set. Cool place and hopefully it gets good traffic since it is off a main road.

The drink was delicious and I would definitely come back again to try their other ones. Nachos were lackluster; a bag of tostino's and a cup of cheese sauce, I wish our cashier warned us because I would not have ordered it if I had known. The pretzel bites were a lot better but seemed like they just tossed it in the microwave. The cookies also were just alright, they were cute, but wasn't above expectations. Overall, I would be back for just the drinks!

I usually come in for cider and wine and I can always find exactly what I need. The selection is solid and the people working here are quick to help if I have a question. It feels welcoming which is why I keep coming back. I like that the store is always clean and organized which makes it easy to browse without feeling rushed. The staff never makes me feel like I am in the way and they are always willing to point me toward something new to try. I appreciate that I can get in and out quickly when I need to but I can also take my time if I want to look around. Every visit feels consistent with the same great customer service and good prices. I know I can count on finding my favorite cider and wine and maybe even something new to add to the list. Specs has become one of those stores I can always rely on and I recommend it to anyone who wants both selection and friendly service.

That response was particularly concerning and made the situation feel even more unwelcoming. As a 22-year-old Black woman, the interaction did not sit right with me and left me feeling singled out. The drive thru moves at an OK pace...not as fast as one would think but they're working on it (I hope). The sodas are customizable ranging from a kid's cup (12oz) all the way up to a whopping 44oz. Besides soda, the menu includes hot chocolate, sweet teas, revivers, and refreshers. I've tried a handful of different sodas including some seasonal ones, and all were quite unique. There is something satisfying about drinking from Swig and this is coming from a person who is and was never big on carbonated beverages. After trying multiple drinks, somehow they all start to taste very similar to one another. My top order is currently the Guava Have It! (mountain dew, guava, strawberry, and coconut cream), followed by Hula Girl (sprite, lemonade, mango, pineapple, strawberry, and coconut cream), Watermelon Sugar (mountain dew, mango, watermelon, coconut cream, and passion fruit popping pearls), and The Founder (diet coke, sugar-free coconut, fresh lime, and coconut cream). The mini chocolate chip cookies are your typical run of the mill grocery store type, with a soft texture and super sweet chocolate chips. I don't suggest having more sweets on top of the already sugary soda beverages unless you're looking for a sugar high. However, I do appreciate that Swig has a few sugar-free soda options too.
