Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and it was terribly dry, the onion rings had a really weird taste and were overcooked. Even the tater tots were overcooked. We had been eating McDonald's for 2 days on the road and were thrilled to a Sonic when we got off the Interstate. Not a big fan of fast food, but they did a great job. I had 5 kids and myself and was pulling a trailer. I had no problems in the parking lot, they were friendly, efficient, and our order was 100% right on the first try. By this I mean, 100% right. I went up to the drive up order spot with my 2 boys. They wanted a hotdog each and I wanted a Lime Ricky. I tried to order but was interrupted by a rude voice on the other end yelling "Wait your turn or you will have to leave." What sort of service is this? We waited a total of 32 minutes just to ORDER. Went thru the drive up yesterday evening, only 3 cars ahead of us. Placed an order for 2 milkshakes and a pop. After 10 minutes, we were one car away from window. Her drinks were handed to her, she was waiting on food. Instead of the employee asking for her to pull forward and help the next car we waited for more 8 minutes. That would have been fine; but during that time, the window server walked 2 drinks to a car 2 cars behind us, took their cash, walked back out with their change. I myself am not a huge fan of sonic (or fast food in general) but my brothers love it. This is a great place to go on a hot summer day when you are looking for a tasty treat to cool you down. Happy hour is between 2pm and 4pm. During happy hour you can get most of their drinks for 50% off....They have just about every flavor you can think of and their prices don't make a dent in your wallet. The customer service here is always top notch. You are always greeted with a smile and the line for the drive through moves quickly. (Keep in mind this review is only for the drinks and customer service. Not the food) -1 star- The new candy slushes.... they were not good...slushes and big chunks of candy just dont mix *shudders* -1 star- They do tend to mess up orders quite a bit. So make sure you check your order while still waiting at the window!! All in all if you are into the fast food scene I would say to give this place a shot. read more

Not only did my wife and I get to wait 20 minutes for our food. We were rewarded with old cold food. I truly hate cold stale fries. I've eaten at a lot of Sonics and this one was definitely below average. They need to make sure they aren't stale fries even if it's an hour til closing. I have to take a moment to write a nice review for the sonic drive-in. We came up to the carhop, at the very beginning of happy hour. The place was super busy and we certainly weren't in front of the line. The very moment we pressed the button to order we got a response. Our order was small, as we just wanted a couple of their route 44 sized drinks. Our order consisted of the atomic lemonade, and a diet Sprite with pineapple. Within a few minutes the car hop came out with our drinks in hand and we paid. Three minutes into our visit we had spilled the atomic lemonade all over my leather seats. (This is pretty typical of my clumsy self--I trip over myself serval times a day). We went up to the window to ask for a towel and they handed us out a few. As we were wiping up, the car hop brought us out another drink, no charge. She offered her service to help and apologized for the spill, even though it was not her fault. My total order came to a little over two dollars and yet we received amazing service from this sonic drive-through. I usually don't order anything other than the drinks and I usually always come through during happy hour. Fantastic service within a fair amount of time. Thank you sonic! read more

I have been going to Sonic for years. I went there hot the hot dog special. I had a couple of neighbors with me to pick up dinner. I was informed that there was a limit of five hot dogs per customer,there had not been a limit before and none was specified in the website. I got the five hot dogs and pulled out of drive through and pulled around again so my neighbor could order her hot dogs. As soon as I pulled up to order, the woman taking the orders became rude and borderline nasty. I explained to her that I was bringing another customer to place her order. The woman said that there were only five per vehicle allowed. That was not what she said the first time which was five per customer. The other neighbor got out of the car and went up to the window to place his order and the same woman proceeded to mock him. The hot dogs were ok, but certainly not worth the rudeness that I and my friends endured. No more Sonic for my family or my friends or or their friends.
