Sonic is consistent. The food is good and so is the service. The prices are high but they are everywhere. Sigh.

I never imagined using the words "high tech" to explain a Sonic but that is exactly what comes to mind to explain this location! The stalls here have touch screens that allow you to explore all of the possible drink flavors as well as any current specials. The screen also gives you payment options - including paying via app! - and updates you on your order status! This location also features a nice waterfall and a picnic option as well as a drive thru. We stopped in to try the new ice cream slushes. Because we went after 8pm, they were half price! Score! The strawberry ice cream slush was great and the service was fast and efficient! Overall a surprisingly great experience! Would recommend it! read more

Ever since the previous manager left this Sonic's service has been gone down hill fast! This used to be the fastest and best service. Now you will wait in drive thru for over 20 minutes for a drink! I feel sorry for the owner who is loosing out on the good money this place used to bring in. Please get better staff. Today is 4/20/24 and something's gotta change! I stopped by for something to eat on the way out of town. It wasn't till I was on the road that I discovered that there was error in the order. When I called to see if they could make it up in the next town where I knew they had a location I was told no and to turn around and return to the city. That was of course not a choice so I went without because of their mistake. read more

Went last month with a big order and when I got home was missing a fry's which I was charged for. Went this morning with a small order: 4 burritos and a tots, and this time was missing a burrito which I caught before driving away. Foods OK when it's not too busy, BUT, ALWAYS check your order before driving away! read more

After being pounded with their TV ads I figured I'd try out a Sonic that's in my town. REALLY disappointed. I ordered a "Slinger"Chicken Sandwich meal and the sandwich was about as big as a silver dollar. The sandwich along with the french fries seemed like they had been prepared several hours earlier, and were both stone cold. The fries were mushy and I've had better chicken sandwiches on airplanes. I ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger and a large Coke Zero with vanilla. It took 25 minutes to come out and the burger had no bacon. Shawn or Sean brought me another burger, but really? A double cheeseburger with enough bacon to give me a heart attack? Still not what I ordered. Just trying to be spiteful or what? Just get the order right is all I ask. We've tired of the bad service and attitudes of the employees of the Date St. McDonalds and so we opted for our lunch at Sonic Drive-In. Food menu is extensive and we took our time to find exactly what we wanted. I ordered a Hatch green chili cheese burger (1/4 pound) with tots and soda. My husband ordered the ft long Coney with chili and cheese, tots and soda. We paid using the card slot on the menu. HOW CONVENIENT. Our wait was 5 minutes and a carhop appeared with a smile, confirmed our order and delivered HOT food. Exactly what we ordered. There was no growling, no bad attitude that we have found is the norm at McDonald's just down the road. Pricing was better than McDonald's too. Well I believe I'm now a fan of SONIC. read more

Setting outside was our choice as we just came from elephant butte lake and wanted a table. However the concrete below all 3 tables was filthy. Trying to overlook it we ate our meal. Green chile burgers are our fav at sonic. Have had stomach cramps all day, not to mention what else. Our Burger lover grandson wouldn't finish his regular Burger. However the chicken straps were delightful but pricy. We were told the parking lot cleaners come once a month. At lease spray off Concrete every three day with water hose. I mean wow man!! Avoid this place if you can. Lady who took our order couldn't get one single thing right that we told her we wanted and then she YELLED at us when we asked her to repeat our order. Even her co worker at the window was apologizing to us for her "friends" behavior. We spoke to the manager. He had such a rehearsed response to us about our issue with this worker that its probably a daily thing. read more

Fast and very friendly service. Sat outside and they wiped down the table for us. Our food was great! Green Chile cheese burger, coney dog, cheese burger, tots, fries and onion rings all delicious! Indeed the worst sonic ever. Went through drive through once was laughing and joking with my brother I hadn't seen in years just talking normal stuff nothing mean or gross or offensive, get to the window: after I pay the girl rudely says, "you shouldn't laugh at or be rude to people preparing your food or something might happen to it" and whole staff was glaring at us. I have no idea who any of those people were and we weren't talking about them. Didn't eat food, never been back, place should lose its franchise the whole staff saw it go down. Who does that? It used to be really good years ago, now its pretty much inedible. I have gotten sick the last two times i have ate there.

Every time I eat there my order is wrong. I ate there yesterday and I got home and my order was totally wrong. I explained exactly how I wanted my burger no cheese no vegetables plain just ketsup and mustard and I got home and it had everything on it. Yes I was pissed off because every time I go there they mess up my order up. So I called them let them no and all she said was you can come back and will replace it. I said no I'm not coming back you owe me a a credit so just saying you people need to train your cooks because if I didn't look and I was allergic to onions or anything on the burger I could of had a real problem. This happens all the time when I come to T or C sonic. So I have s free meal there but don't think I'll use it just won't go back because it happens all the time. Sorry sonic u lost my business. Always have great service and friendly staff. Standard Sonic menu, but the staff step it up to an even better level.
