I appreciated the care and concern he took when he learned that I needed to eat Gluten Free. He explained everything and made me feel good that I wouldn't get sick. The gluten free brownie was really good and big enough to split. It's wonderful and was gooey and tasted great. The ice cream is really good too. Plus they have more than ONE option for anyone whose gluten free! All of the regular baked goods looked amazing. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend stopping here.

We told them what we were looking for and suggestions were made, we ended up getting a lemon cookie (I asked if it was chewy and he showed me how soft and moist it was) and a raspberry lemon cake. The cookie reminded me of the slices of lemon cake you get from Wally World (delicious!) and the cake was just as delicious. the raspberry filling added a nice little touch that didn't overpower or create too much sweetness/tartness. it's a good thing that I don't live near by cause I'd be a regular however any time I come through Durant, I'm making a stop at the sweet spot!

We had a scheduled group tour (the only way you can get a tour) today and arrived quite a bit early…read moreout of anticipation for heavy traffic. But there is a fun playground set up by the calves which meant we got first dibs on the hay slide! The calves knew visitors meant feeding time and were licking us, just waiting for that wonderful milk bottle to be given to them. Our guide was amazing, taking time to answer every one of our questions thoroughly. She showed us the stalls where the dairy cows feed, relax and stay cool, the water washout that cleans the stalls, the milking stations, and even let us practice our milking skills on a model cow. She explained that the cows are milked every 12 hours so our tour not only fell outside of their normal schedule, but they wouldn't be comfortable having strangers milk them. Which is why we practiced on a model, still very cool. Totally understandable, we want the cows to continue producing their delicious milk for all to enjoy! We learned that raw milk, not pasteurized, is actually better since the vitamins and nature's goodness haven't been heated out. After tasting the raw milk, it tastes SO delicious. They aren't selling commercially anymore and can only sell straight from their farm, so if you happen to want fresh milk, ice cream or other locally made farm foods, visit their store on site! Be sure to bring cash or Venmo. My family enjoyed today's tour and recommend everyone support our local dairy farmers at Circle N Dairy :)

Circle N is a small family owned and operated raw milk dairy. Because Texas prohibits the sale of…read moreraw milk in stores, Circle N exclusively sells their milk and milk products at their on-site shop. There you can purchase raw milk by the pint or gallon (they have chocolate and strawberry too!), as well as dairy like cheese, cream, yogurt, sour cream and ice cream. The store also sells items from other local vendors: things like honey, sausage, and nuts. The milk is fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced ($5.00 a gallon for white). Coming from California, where stores do sell raw milk but it's like $14 a gallon, I was shocked at the price Circle N was able to offer theirs. I wish we lived closer so I could make it part of my regular weekly shopping! The main attraction for us was the dairy tour, which is offered for $7 a person (under 2 is free). There is no set schedule for tours so you need to contact the dairy in advance to schedule one. The tour was incredibly informative and so much fun! We got to see where they milk the cows and how they flush out the barns. We learned about the silo, how they feed and care for the cows, and even got to give the calves a bottle! The tour ended with a half pint sample of the raw milk (a much more generous portion than I expected!). The only thing I wish we could have seen is a cow actually being milked. I had been on another dairy tour previously where we had the chance to see the mechanical milking and it was really neat, but this was at a much larger dairy, where the milking happened almost constantly throughout the day. At Circle N, the milking only happens twice a day (2:30a and 2:30p), so it makes sense that we weren't able to see it happening. Michelle, the owner and tour guide, was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome and was patient to answer all our questions. We packed a lunch and ate it at the covered picnic tables they leave open to the public. This is an outstanding destination for a homeschool coop, or even just a fun activity for the family. Cash or check only. Bring a cooler - you'll want to take home some of this milk!

Since we live in West Ft Worth and don't make it out often, we stocked up on some of the yummy chocolates from the case, I bought waaaaay too many, but they were all delicious! The chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered toffee were my favorites. My son got a cone of Rocky Road (I think) that they make in house. Service was impeccable....Go see Tammy! I will never shop here again. I stopped by to purchase some chocolate covered coffee beans, knowing…read moreI could go to a local box store and purchase them for far less, my intention was to support a local business owner. While filling my bag 3 coffee beans fell on the floor. Being honest and looking out for the liability (slip and fall hazards) of the business owner I picked up the three beans and proceeded to the register to purchase the beans. While at the register I handed the clerk the 3 beans and told her they fell on the floor so she could throw them in the trash so no one would slip or fall on them. She then place my bag on the scale and then took the three beans and placed them on the scale with my purchase. "Charging me" for the 3 beans! I was absolutely floored and asked if she was really charging me for the beans?? She said it was policy. I told her those 3 beans are actually worth a potential liability law suit? I expressed my absolute disbelief, with a shrug she said I have to charge you. I told her to learn a lesson from this as being honest and looking out for the well being of others apparently is worth less than GREED. She then tried to tell me the cost of coffee beans etc. I explained to her I own 3 business and there is a waste factor built into 99% of businesses. That is no excuse. Especially in specialty candies. I paid 19.87 for .68 lbs that is over 27.00 per lb. I weighed the 3 beans when I got home and they weighed .007 lbs that is a retail cost of .00025 cents my cost so the actual cost to the company is far less than that. Again I am more than happy to pay more to support local business owners however never will I support a company that has a policy to charge there community supporters looking out for their businesses best interest. In hindsight I should have just told her to keep her beans and left the store. I will not make that mistake again. Let's get back to being reasonable again folks. As I am sure their business revenue is majorly based on local support. Unfortunately they are not reciprocating to their supporters. That is bad business in my opinion.
