Kind of disappointed in this location. Ordered several items that were just not the general level of of quality. Not sure if the cooks are just not doing a good job or if the food has changed. The chili dog I ordered was wayyyyyy over salted! The onion rings also were short about 20% of normal. May go back again and give them another chance, but maybe not. read more

I took my kids and they loved it!! The staff was all very respectful to me and all of our food was amazing! I've had a few bad experiences in the past with fast-food places but the staff blew past my expectations! Overall the place was clean. Me and my daughters stayed in to eat and chat for quite a while. What happened to SONIC? I have not been in a while, last time I went I ordered one of the super breakfast burritos and it was mostly bread, nothing like what they use to serve. Last night I just needed to get out of the house, thought I would go over the hill and get something to eat. Arby's would have been great... but I wanted something different. I had a Zalad the night before..which they even gypped me on chicken and bacon (not even half as much as they once put on their Club Zalad, very sad) and I definitely did not want McDonald's. So... I thought I would go to Sonic a grab a sandwich, no hamburger. The chicken club sandwich use to be my choice... and my boys so I ordered the meal with tots. I was so extremely disappointed. What happened to their best chicken sandwich on the menu? What happened to the big juicy chicken breast? Was it suppose to have bacon? I don't care if there was suppose to be bacon or not, really. I wanted a chicken sandwich. The McChicken sandwich at McDonald's would have topped what I was served last night. It was gross. The bread was even nasty. If this is the quality that Sonic is now serving, they need to start a Dollar Menu and add this sandwich. Yuck!! My dog ate the remainder and the tots went to the opossums. Sumter people really get cheated at many of our restaurants when it comes to the quality of food served and the service we are given. Compare next time you are out and about. If any of you travel to Hartsville SC and stop at their Sonic or their Zaxby's, I promise you will have a total different experience. Zaxby's there actually still gives you a whole fried breast cut up and a good amount of bacon on the Club Zalad. Sonic there is still jamming as they have since I first went there at 16. I really miss the banana splits but they fill the sundaes all the way to the top. If you want a chicken sandwich, go to Chic-fil-a or Popeyes (spicy chicken sandwich, yum). I have not tried Arby's chicken sandwich yet. Wish I did not have to give a star but... their inside restuarant area is pretty nice. They even have a place to charge your phone or plug up you laptop. read more

Recently we went thru the drive in window and grandkids and I ordered a shake and wife ordered a ice cream cone but did not want the cone. Now it gets interesting. I ordered an ice cream cone but without the cone. The person on the speaker ask again and I said,"An ice cream cone but the ice cream in a cup." My grandchildren started laughing. When we got our order we got an ice cream cone in a cup. These are the same people wanting $15 an hour but with $6 work intelligence. read more

Worst service ever even when using the app that is supposed to save time. Placed an order in the app put in the stall #, order timer showed up on the stall screen and waited almost a hour for the screen to then reset. Then I went through the drive thru to be told they don't use the stalls when it is wet outside I should have pressed the button at the stall when I arrived and they would have let me know (to bad it's not an intercom they could have just spoke to me through). Then I was told even though they had just handed me half my order they never received it and better yet my mainly ice cream order couldn't be made because the machine was now down! One better than that they can't refund my money I have to go through the app support system to get it!! read more

I find it really disturbing that during a pandemic they will hand your food (at the drive through) to someone else and they will hand it back to the Sonic employee and then hand it straight to you!!! This is VERY NASTY. This is the second time this has happened. First time spoke to the manager it won't happen again blah blah and guess what? They did it again. So this tells me the manager cares like the employees. I use to eat it here a lot. NEVER AGAIN! Sad because I live within a mile. Will go to Zaxbys. read more

Only go here if you want your car filled with cigarette smoke. Horrible customer relations. I asked the manager, Angel, to have the employees smoking next to our car to move. She was incredibly rude, extremely put out that I was even bothering her, & failed to move the employees. It's not awesome that my car smells like smoke & my kids had to sit in it while we waited for our order. The phone # she gave me for the general manager did not work. Definitely go to the Sonic on Broad St if you want decent customer service. read more

Very slow, and out of everything, and it takes 10 mins for them to even take your order. Everytime we come here we have to pull up to the trash can but the people at the window get their food before us. And the girls who takes your money have attitudes every visit. read more

Absolutely the worst experience in my Sonic history. I ordered from the app and waited for an hour and 10 minutes today only to go inside and find my bag of ice melted and sitting at the registers. The staff had no idea how to read my ticket and I had to wait inside to explain what I needed. The staff was unconcerned that I had been waiting for over an hour in stall 5. The excuse being I can't hear the people ordering on my earphones? This is not the only bad experience I have had here. Last week they forgot the marinara sauce that went with my medium order cheese stix. The week before I ordered from Sonic only to find they had given me the wrong coke. I ordered Diet Coke and when I opened it at home it was regular Coke and missing the limes I paid for. I guess as I write this out I am the fool for going back there. read more

They SUCK!!!! I had to wait forever, then got ALL the way home and they didn't even give me all my order! So freaking mad!

i had to wait for 1.5 hours to get a slushee, a burger meal, and a grilled cheese, and STILL did not get my entire order. this began in the car hop at 9:00 pm. when the workers would not respond to my call on the menu board (5 times), i was luckily able to pull aside the ONLY employee working the car hop. she was absolutely no help but told me to park in a regular spot and proceeded to tell me that she would bring my food out to me. when she never showed (10:00 pm ish) i made my boyfriend and his friend stand outside the kitchen door... yep i know... and we finally got our food around 10:30 (if you're wondering if we paid- absolutely not). if i could post this review without giving a star at all i would, but that's not an option. read more
