Ordered from the highway en route on the Sonic app. Just wanted a couple of cool drinks for the rest of the ride home. App would not recognize the "stall," so we waited. After 10 minutes (just 2 drinks!), I stuck my head in the "Employee Only" door and asked where our drinks were. The manager (I think) looked it up----I don't think they'd even started the order even though we put it through 20 minutes before----and we waited another 10 minutes...for disgusting, poorly made drinks----no ice, luke warm, bad tasting, and no Red Bull which was part of the order. Noticed that almost no one was moving in the drive thru; they were not busy. The poor teenagers inside seemed completely clueless. We won't be going back there again. Waited at the speaker for 10 minutes (mind you it's not crowded or busy and I saw at least 3 people working ) and then waited another 20 in the line, 2 cars gave up and pulled off and one was at the speaker the whole time, and waited at the window for another 10 just for a slushee. Only gave two stars because we got an extra slushee on accident but as someone who's worked in fast food, there was no reason for that wait at all. I two ordered two smash burgers and a chili dogs today with nobody else in line. Waited at the drive-thru window for 20 to 25 minutes. Got home. My food was very cold and tasted very disgusting and rubbery. I called corporate and told them about my experience. All they offered me was one free cheeseburger for a $20 meal. I was so appalled I just decided not to go through with anything else. I said I wanted my money back but they told me I'd have to talk to this person and that person and did not want to go through that. This was my first time at this location. Due to low staffing, only the drive thru was open. It appeared that the line was moving at a good pace. I chose a double cheeseburger combo and opted for an oreo cheesecake milkshake. Both were so tasty, but the tater tots were not crispy enough. The past few times I have been to this location, there is not a worker who knows how to run a drive thru. I have sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes as I have watched the workers sit outside and chat during that time. Once I pull up to the speaker, the worker states they'll be with me in a minute--didn't know a minute equated to 20 minutes. What could help you improve is if you actually had your workers do their job. Every time I've turned around I've gotten food there that looks like a literal 5-year-old got into the kitchen cabinets through it together and somehow made what I wanted but it was either undercooked not put together correctly falling apart or just messy. For example the sausage egg and cheese burrito that I ordered and modified to have no sausage and tomato I literally got it and even though the advertisement shows nice fluffy scrambled eggs and gooey melted cheese it literally looks like a toddler put some eggs in a bowl scrambled them up a little bit put them in a tortilla and the cheese isn't even melted in the slightest it looks like it came straight out of a bag from walmart. It is absolutely pathetic and as a fast food worker I'm honestly sick of this crap. I understand that around the time I ordered it was probably a little busy but that's still no excuse to literally hand me slop wrapped in some tin foil made to look pretty. read more

Judging by past reviews for this specific location I'm not surprised my two experiences here have been underwhelming. I shouldn't have to know "what not to order there" because "this thing or that thing always sucks". I've learned not to get fries... that's the huge one. Always soaked (TURN UP THE FRYER TEMP!) with oil and rubbery. I might add that a Medium Fry = 14 two inch French fries. Additionally, my recent meal was the Philly Steak sandwich... I'll describe it as a half cup of dry steak-ums, a quarter cup of chopped onion, and a little cheese. So f****ng pathetic, THIS IS FAST FOOD DO YOUR JOB. I ordered the BBQ popcorn chicken with a large cheese fries. First there wasn't that many fries they just gave me a large container. They didn't even put nacho cheese on them they literally melted American cheese and called it a day. I didnt get that much chicken and it was lazily sauced, i have to mix it up when i got to make sure everything was covered. I ended up spending like 12 bucks and was not happy at all. My heart is breaking. I love Sonic ... just not this one. Don't get me wrong, there are some things they can still pull off, like a strawberry lime-air or tater tots and a corn dog. But man, it goes down hill quick from there. This is mainly due to the lack of adult supervision or caring about quality. I am not sure how many time I have gone to this place, probably around 5, where they have gotten the order wrong. But it has usually been at the 'drive-in' part. So a quick fix. Last night I went to the drive through. And Leo Getz is right, they screw you at the Drive Through. So the order: Corn Dog, #2 w/may, mustard, no catsup or tomato, #4. All with tots and strawberry lime-aids. Get home, the #4 is not wrapped completely and is falling out of the wrapper as it comes out of the bag. Corn dog made it fine (see above), The #2 (Double w/ cheese...) Single, with catsup and tomato. So, drove the 15 minutes back to let them get it correct. The lady took my bag from the window like she know what was wrong. Did not ask. Came back and said here you go, double bacon cheeseburger with No veggies. I told her that is not what i ordered (apparently they screwed someone else's order up. So I told her the order again and off she went. Came back and handed me the bag. I asked, 'are you sure it is correct this time', and she said 'yes'. So, i trusted. Refer to Leo Getz. Got home, keep in mind this is the 3rd attempt. Get home, Single with cheese, bacon and no veggies. No, I can not make this up. So lesson, if you are going there, just expect there is no quality check, people cant read, and check your order. Just went to this Sonic because I haven't been to one in a long time and almost wanting to be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised at the courteous employee who took my order. In additional to being very detailed she assisted in helping me navigate the menu. Speed of service was impressive as we ordered a large amount of food and it came out in less than five minutes. All of the food was cooked well and everything I asked for from the condiments on my burger to the sauces for the popcorn chicken was correct and made exactly how I ordered it. Being someone who works in the food industry, making the decision to come eat here instead of the typical drive through was just as satisfying as it was tasteful. I'm 64 yrs old, yet this was my first visit to a Sonic anywhere. So, so bad. 2 small corndogs, small fry, small coke, $7.04. Tiny portions, big bill. The corndogs were burnt and lukewarm, the fries tasted weird and were almost cold. The coke was ok but small. It's going to take awhile to get this nasty taste out of my mouth. Ugh! I got swayed by the Facebook newsfeed promise of a $0.79 pineapple ice cream slushy, and it was a disaster. The universe was totally punishing me this morning for not being able to resist the temptation of a frozen, fruity breakfast. I felt rushed to place my order even though I never pressed the call button and there was no one else there waiting for my spot. Then I was informed that there was to be no ice cream slushy. I am a bit annoyed that they planned this promotion for today and didn't have the necessary equipment ready to go in the morning, but at the same time, I am probably the only one who tried to order ice cream at 7am, so it's not like they're risking a whole lot. Surprise extra eggs got added to my order, which I would have declined if they had asked first. This was definitely a case of the employee trying too hard to be nice and just completely missing the mark (same goes for him rushing me to place my order). Am I the only one who assumes all coffee, iced or hot, will be served black unless otherwise described or requested? This is not the first place I have ordered an iced coffee and gotten some muddy, syrupy garbage. But there are also plenty of places where it's understood that "iced coffee" = ice + coffee. How this place messes up hot dogs and tater tots is beyond me. I'm not sure how the food is so abysmal since everything seems to be microwaved 2 weeks prior to you ordering it. You can get better hot dogs at a gas station. Craving a milkshake? Go to Steak n Shake. Want greasy, comfort food? Try Happy Moose. You would have better luck finding better food at the Big Boy restaurant that has been closed for years. It was my first experience at Sonic. It was very, very disappointing on a car ride back from a Memorial Day picnic. My Sonic experience was different, first time with a carhop and fast food delivery. The carhop was friendly and quick with the order and even gave us extra napkins. Each of the parking spaces were clean and well maintained. Not everyone in the car could see the menu though- especially the people in the back seat. The food; however, was a different story. I ordered #1 and a #3: Sonic burger combo with fries and a Coney Footlong with onions and onion rings. The Sonic burger was luke warm with a dried out McDonald's hamburger patty- nothing good. The fries were soggy and cold as well. The Coney Footlong was a cold, overly salted, bland hot dog. It's taste is similar to a low fat, expired Oscar Mayer wiener dog. Adding the onions, cheese sauce and chili did not help it at all. I would prefer a Nathan's hot dog or a Hebrew National Hot Dog plain over another one of the Coney Dogs. The onion rings weren't bad- they use real Spanish onions in the onion rings. The rings were somewhat sweet though and need a little salt. The best part of the meal were the onion rings. One surprising aspect of the meal was the fact that they have Coke Zero- most other fast food places don't. I will not be paying a visit to Sonic again, unless forced there. read more

The only thing I like about Sonic is their drinks. I'm not a fan of drive up eateries like Sonic, A&W, and Swensons. Sonic is not different. Greasy, messy food at a large cost that you could get better somewhere else. They have prompt service, easy payment at the location so no one takes your card, and they are friendly. Food tastes decent enough, but small servings for the cost. I was unhappy with kids selection choices, but my 2 boys found the chicken kids meals tasty enough. You have privacy since you eat in your car and the noise level is up to you, but they don't give you enough napkins or wet wipes for their messy food. They are willing to cook to order though and do substitutions and additions so that is a plus. read more

Ok, unless you have never been to a Sonic you know the drill. Pull up, order and eat in your car. Classic American drive in goodness! Sonic has been one of my favorites since I was a kid back in Louisiana. When I moved to Ohio and the Sonics became few and far between I began to appreciate them a lot more! My personal favorite is the footlong chili cheese coney and tots! But sometimes I must admit I have to swap tots for Onion Rings. They have large onion rings that are always battered nicely and not falling apart. I also love their chicken strips with gravy for dipping and their toaster sandwiches. Ok so really there is not much that I do not like ;-) Their happy hour drink specials are a great treat for any age especially on a hot day! I have to admit a half price slush is a nice treat! And you can have just about any flavor you can imagine... Same with their shakes! read more
