I don't have a Sonic Drive-In where I live. Maybe that's partly why my family and I like it so much. Perhaps people get bored and hyper critical when they have easy access to a place and/or eat their too often. Either way, to be honest, I expected it to have a higher rating than it currently does. We just went there for a lunch a few days ago and did not see, experience, or consume anything short of a 4 star meal. The staff were fast & friendly, the place was reasonably clean, they got our order right, the food was very good for a fast food place, and the prices were right in line with what one would expect. What else could someone possibly want in a drive-in burger joint that also offers hot dogs and chicken? All I know is my kids loved it and I did too. read more

Sonic is said to be open until 11 but I went around 9 and the weren't doing ice cream, onion rings, and their slushy machines were off for the night. I understand that they are short staff at this time however at this point what are they selling. Come here to eat on a hot summer day! Lemonades, limeades and shakes on the menu and they frequently add new things to try! They keep footlong hotdogs on the menu year round which is a nice snack sometimes. Don't forget to tip the car hops!! read more

First time using the app to place an order. Arrived at the time it said my food would be ready. Pulled into a stall as directed. Entered the information on what stall I was in. It showed that I was there after about 2-3 minutes it said "KJ is on their way out with my order". A couple of minutes of waiting my order got cleared out. I have a friend that works there, that just had a baby not even two months ago. For her to be going back to work this early in the first place is incredible enough. But the fact that they are not understandable about it, and won't let her go to her baby whenever she NEEDS to is just ridiculous. She's only 15 years old. My husband and I ate here just to try it out. It's nice that they have outdoor seating and that it is an old-fashioned experience to order from your car and have someone bring it to you on roller skates. In the past 3 months, on 3 different occasions, I would pull up to the drive in speaker. The cars that had already had orders would get their things and leave. I would sit there for 10 or more minutes until someone would come out and give me some excuse of why the speaker was not working. While waiting for the clueless employees to realize that there was a line of people waiting, cars would drive away in frustration. I use the app to order ahead many times and it says 5 to 7 minutes. I normally give them about 15 minutes to have to ready. Then when I get their I will have to wait about 15 to 20 after I order. Almost every time I order I get under $20 dollars worth of food and drink. Then after I check about 5 to 10 they say they are coming to my car then they never show up. Then I ask a employee to check on my Order then I wait at least 5 minutes or more to check on my order. Most of the time it is 20 minutes to get my order. I would give 0 stars if I could. Then another day I order a ice cream and slushy on the app and waited 15 minutes and the worst part was a guy walked up to to order a drink and got it before I got mine. I tried to talk to a employee and the never stopped when I asked for them and i finely had to talk to the manger she got me my things I ordered. But in any other business they would do something to help the customer want to go back and spend money. The manager on duty never did any but lie to my face about trying to say next time it will be better but every time I go and they never get any better it seems it gets worse every time. Terrible service. A group of 10 friends and I went to sonic on a Friday night. The resteraunt seemed average-ly busy for a weekend, however it took 50 just to order our food. I ordered a burger and it was missing a topping and was ice cold, next it came back after I complained and it didn't have any of the main toppings on it. I took it back in myself and complained and caught the Cook complaining about me and the manager having attitude that stunk so bad! I'd be embarrassed to be her! If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife and I stopped here to grab dinner because we had been driving for hours. We ordered our food and were told part of our order would take 10 minutes because it wasn't already made. No problem! We waited and waited. The guy at the window was standoffish and wasn't paying attention the entire time we were ordering, but I shrugged it off. Some people aren't meant to work with people. Then another car came, full of cheerleaders who started honking and called one of the workers over. They let the cheerleaders go into the drive through doors into the kitchen and proceeded to ignore us. Still waiting.. finally we were given our bag, not told anything. They went back to talking to the cheerleaders. We waited. They opened the window, clearly annoyed we were still there. We asked " is this all of it?" They said yeah, clearly not interested and still focused on cheerleaders. We finally got to where we stopped for the evening. I opened the bag and noticed half our food wasn't in the bag. The food we had to wait 20 minutes for wasn't in the bag. I went back and picked it up, they gave a bullshit "we're sorry." Maybe if these kids were more focused on their jobs instead of hooking up with cheerleaders this Sonic wouldn't have the worst service or the shittiest attitudes. used to love sonic, my boyfriend and i go often but as i am sitting here at the moment, we had to wait 15+ minutes for our order, 2 items were incorrect and the guy who brought it to us said that what we ordered was gone , so why did they not say this when it was ordered to begin with? didn't bother giving us napkins or our receipt on top of that, last time we came here it was like 10:15 and they told us they closed at 10 that night. it sucks that we don't want to come here anymore because it's full of a bunch of kids who think they deserve more than $7 an hour. read more
