I'm not surprised of the low rating because all fast food places have increased their prices and service has gone down hill - but - not at this sonic! First, the staff genuinely is excited about their job and they make fresh, hot , and quality food items! While other sonics are going the way of the rest of the places in this genre, that is not the case of this specific store. The key - the manager! I have eaten at this store every so often and never had a problem and thought I was maybe a 4 star place overall. However, when I started doing food deliveries, there were a couple orders where the customers messed up. She personally ensured that she made it right for the soldiers who told me that from now on that sonic is the only store he and his friends will order from. Here is why this store and specifically the manager Niki - deserve 5 stars - she cares. Genuinely - she cares about her customers and her employees. She goes out of her way to make people feel not just as wallets giving her money but as though they are a genuinely delight for her to meet and help. I'm sure most people never need to go to a manager but, if you ever do, you will be delighted to get to know Niki. One of my friends only speaks Spanish and I know Niki has been encouraging one of her female employees to learn Spanish and my friend loves practicing Spanish now each time we visit with that crew member. Sonic - however you trained Niki - please train other managers the same! My hope is that corporate will meet with Niki and figure out her secrets - how can we make a fairly average food place become a place that people actually enjoy visiting! I've told my colleagues that if their in the mood for good food and amazing service / this is the sonic to visit and anytime visiting - stop by and say hi to Niki and finally experience fast food the way it was years ago - value with a smile! Came through the drive thru tonight at about 7:45. Ordered a cheeseburger, tots and a milkshake. Came up to the window they took our card and gave us a Sunday.. we were just going to correct them when they came back to the window. Problem is they NEVER came back. We saw our food get put by the window.. sat there for another 10 min until we honked.. nothing.. we could see the kids inside messing around. Finally got out of the car and knocked on the window. This poor woman came over and apologized that she was on break. Meanwhile she was making our milkshake the original kid came back and tried to give us the Sunday back! This was an astoundingly bad experience. We were acknowledged right away and told they were busy. Okay, that's fine. They never got back to us. After 15 minutes we ordered on the app. It took 24 minutes, and a couple proddings to bring us 2 slushes and a pretzel. It seemed like the drive thru was moving normally.
