I've heard good things about this place and was excited to check it out. We'd just finished dinner next door and I needed something sweet so I walked over to see what they offered. Their menu is so unique it was hard to decide, but I chose a caramel latte cone/bowl. Honestly, I thought it was just okay. My serving had very little caramel, but a lot of cookie crumbs. I think I'll try something different next time. The Staff was friendly and helpful. I like that they let me try the base flavors before I ordered anything. A few indoor spots to sit and large outdoor area with games which we loved! Paid parking along the street out front.
We're a sweet treat family and that will never change. Dinner is most always followed by a sweet treat. My son and I had been next door at one of our fav spots, Dos Santos and he told me him and his gf had been to Frozen Gold before and asked if I'd like to try it. I LOVE soft serve and was very excited to try a new local dessert spot. After much consideration, and my tipsy brain trying to process all of the combinations I went with the silly rabbit + marshmallow sauce because I LOVE marshmallow sauce. My son got a pb puffs something or other. I really liked mine. I definitely wouldn't rule out coming here again soon. They also have corn hole out front which solidified my 5 STAR rating. Great service!
This place is fun for a soft serve place. My husband and I shared the Strawberry and the Limelight. Both were good, but the lime was my favorite because of the toasted marshmallow. I could have done without the cone on top though.
Huge portion -- so while it's on the pricier, you are getting a lot! Indoor and outdoor seating Unique flavors! But can also get a plain cone.

Ice cream was very good! We both got the chocolate and remarked that the flavor was interesting and would both like to try the vanilla to see if they're similar. Very rich. The thick mint was not very minty and i think would have been better as a cone. The gone camping was delicious. The interior was very calm and pretty, very clean. and our server was very sweet and nice. Very large servings and very price appropriate. Theres a bar next door and we saw a rat run out of it next door wouldn't recommend that place.
I got the limelight - it's delish! Not too sweet, great textures and flavors. Really cute place, friendly staff, great outdoor seating options. We will be back to try some of the other great looking options on the menu!
Frozen Gold in Colorado Springs has the perfect ambiance to enjoy their frozen ice cream. While the service was underwhelming, we did appreciate the creative soft serve offerings. I chose the Strawberry and it was delicious. Smooth frozen yogurt topped with strawberry sauce and sprinkles of cookie crumbles. Extra bonus: We are our frozen ice cream in front of one of the bonfire pits.
A fun spot for soft serve with fun toppings and large portion sizes. They only offer one size for everything and it either comes in a cup or in a cone. It's a fairly large portion so we ended up sharing one between two of us. The soft serve is creamy and they load it with toppings. The desserts have a good amount of salt in them which came as a little bit of a surprise. They have a few small tables indoors and there is also outdoor seating that's shared with other restaurants.

I had a taste for key lime pie and I saw they had something on the menu that fit the bill... listen, it's the best ice cream remix i've ever had... far surpasses all the frozen yogurt places where I attempted to create something on my own only for it to fall flat. If you are in the neighborhood and want a unique ice cream experience come here. Your taste buds will thank you.
I'm not too sure what's better, the pizza at Atomic Cowboy or the ice cream afterwards but both are an excellent choice for lunch. Frozen Gold is whipping up some soft serve specialties with assorted flavors of ice cream along with crumbled cookies, cereal, and other delicious items which bring their sundaes and cones to another level.
This place is located in a great place surrounded by other amazing restaurants and bars. This place is super cute. When you walk in you notice it's very clean and decorated with lots of cute selfie spots. Menu is small but perfect for the people that get overwhelmed with large menus. Customer service was just okay. Nothing special. Felt like girls were annoyed that we walked in. Prices are okay for what you get. This place is an experience more than anything.

Doubt I'll be returning any time soon and probably a good idea too. I ordered the equivalent of a cookies n' cream on a cone. Ice cream and toppings were beyond sweet and on a diabetic level. Not sure what took so long but for the amount of time I waited I could've ran to King Soopers and picked up a gallon bucket at half the cost. The interior is really cool and inviting. The shop even leads into Denver Biscuit Company and it definitely seemed more lively on that side instead of the single person assisting us. Definitely an opposite experience from any Denver Biscuit Company I have visited. After the 20 minute mark I wasn't sure if they needed help milking cows or assisting with heavy machinery. If they told us "Hey, we're backed up a bit so it'll take about 10-15 minutes or a bit more to get your ice cream out" I would have been a bit more understanding...but we received no update while the customers before us finished their ice cream and left. Not returning any time in the near future and let this review be your warning. Great concept but the execution has left much to be desired. read more

Cute, fun ice cream shop. I had the signature strawberry in a cone (flipped into a cup). It reminded me of the strawberry shortcake bars but with dried strawberries. I loved it! The service was friendly. The ambiance inside was fun and colorful. There was also outside seating available. I'm very happy with my experience. Can't wait to return :) read more
So fun here! Came here after dinner with friends and tried the Puffy ice cream in a cone. Peanut butter normally isn't my thing but this was really tasty and a little bit nostalgic! Cones are HUGE I couldn't come close to finishing mine (but I was I could). The gals taking my order were really nice and sweet, and the vibes felt like a clean roller rink. A fun and unique take on an ice cream cone! We had the thick mint which had Andes candies and a fudge core and the strawberry bliss which had cream cheese soft serve. We were so impressed at how much flavor these had. It may take awhile for your ice cream to come out, especially if there is a long line, so keep that in mind if you are win a rush. I'm so glad we stopped by for ice cream after lunch today! If you're looking for a lot of ice cream with unique flavors and toppings, check out Frozen Gold. Their ice cream swirls created a tower of deliciousnesses. It can be messy but they put those white trays under the cones to catch all the toppings that fall. I went with the Basic B, which had dipped chocolate that hardens and sea salt on top. My friend got the one with cookie dough and Oreo crumbles. The interior was so cute, including several funky and sparkly chairs with plenty of room to sit. There are also plenty of tables outside to sit and enjoy. read more
Stopped by on a Saturday night with my daughters, the line was long but moving. Every person who passed us had ice cream cones that made our mouths water. After placing our orders we waited a few minutes for our order to be made. It was worth the wait, the ice cream cones were delicious ( we tried each other's, they tasted so good) A strawberry, salted caramel, and cookie crumble . Just the best! Who would have thought to dress up soft serve?? I'm so glad Frozen Gold did!!! I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed! The staff is so nice and welcoming. They also allow you to sub flavors out. I'm not really a chocolate person but wanted the Gone Campin cone. They allowed me get it with vanilla and I was able to add a caramel core!! I looked for a unique dessert shop to try in the Springs and went out of my way to come to Frozen Gold, but was underwhelmed. Product looks way better on social media than what is received, but more importantly, it was inconsistent and just not made well. We ordered the Cookie Crumbles to share, were informed they're out of "the right" cones, so I said a cup was fine. Ours came out with a cone haphazardly thrown on top and then the gal went on break. The next two orders up also had a Cookie Crumbles that looked totally different from mine- as in you could visibly see that theirs had cookie dough balls studding the outside and mine did not. The order tasted decent in that you can't really go wrong with Oreos and soft serve, but all of the fudge was in a half-inch puddle at the bottom of the cup and we came across exactly one cookie dough ball in the entire order. It's a cute shop and a fun concept, but apparently needs fine-tuning. The floors were also extremely sticky. read more

Update: the portions seem to be getting smaller and the service slowing down. Maybe it was just the one night we were in (Thursday 12 Aug) but the staff also seemed very lost and flustered. Not sure if we'll be back to this if it keeps trending downward. read more
As part of a Yelp Elite event, I waded (literally - it was ankle deep) through puddles and torrential rain to grab this cone! It did not disappoint. The menu has preconfigured cone combos that incorporate their soft serve with toppings. It wasn't what I was expecting but I went with the Thick mint. It was absolutely better than I expected. The soft serve had great flavor and the fudge core and mint crumble exterior were super tasty! This cone would be so refreshing on a hot summer day. I got the cookie dough one and it was pretty good. I liked the oreo crust on the ice cream and how the cone is in a cup to catch anything that falls off (and things definitely fell off!). The soft serve is a typical vanilla soft serve, except maybe less sweet than normal (which is good because everything else is very sweet). I was given a generous amount of cookie dough. The only thing I didn't really like was the fudge center in the soft serve. It was a chunk of bitter chocolate that didn't really fit with the soft serve. The cashier was also a bit rude, but the people making the soft serve were awesome. I would come back and try the Samoa next time, cuz coconut!
