Let's see here where do I start? First of all I'll tell you I used to work here . They only have one person working from 7:00 a.m. till about 11 :30 a.m. or sometimes noon . Even at the peak busiest times of the year when it is the busiest there are only three people at the most working to run that whole store. Before I left we went 3 months without gloves . The GM told me she ordered them but they just didn't come . The owner Monty never fixes anything in that store everything is literally broken . They went without an ice machine for almost 3 months as well . How are you going to run a driving that focuses on drinks with no running Ice machine? If I could give zero Stars I would . like this with Shady business practices . Seen a kid in there working off the clock because the management is so cheap and complain about labor labor labor labor got to keep the labor down . Can't have more than two people working . It's over a hundred degrees outside with lines wrapped all the way around the building and they'll only allow three people on shift for that . I love this sonic. I come here at least once every two weeks. And I've never had an issue. Sure it takes awhile to get your food, but I don't mind, it's good food. What I do mind however is the dead fly in the bottom of my tots today. What the actual heck is going on at this place. I went last night 45 minutes before close no one answrred drive through. Went to the window got stared at by two employees and then they dissapeared. Whatever i left. Went with my Grandma today, used to be our special treat together. Sat in the stalls for ten minutes. We were trying to kill time. Decided to go to the drivethrough sat another ten minutes at the window as the speaker wasnt working. Had to honk to get someones attention. Guy who took our order seemed very off and possibly on something. Couldnt get halfway through our order before he walked off midway of us telling him what we wanted. Came back we finished our order. I specifically asked for diet and was given regular. I made if clear when ordering diet was extremely important. Had it remade with attitude and had a different guy hand it to us who was about the same in appearance. Overall not reccomended. This place has gone so down hill over the years its a suprise they are still open. read more

If the food wasn't actually pretty good when you FINALLY get it, I would give 1 star or less. I've waited at the order window for 15 minutes to get no response. Even when there is nobody in front of me. I start to wonder if they are closed. Nope, they're just standing around in there. Now they have a sign saying to order at the window because the order thing is broken, and they are sorry about delays because they have new employees and to please be patient. That sign has been there for many months. Either fix the thing, or admit that it's not because of new employees, you just don't want to pay the tab to fix it. If you go inside for whatever reason, you will find that it is the filthiest place that serves food that you've ever seen in your life. Seriously, the food is good. But, you will wait a MINIMUM 20 minutes and that's if you're only ordering for yourself. Everybody always posts the bad stuff that happens but very rarely do they post the good stuff I have sad here and watch these people andIs they are really doing a good job.. The store is clean the people are clean the uniforms fresh their smiles on their faces are awesome service fantastic food fantastic... To make a business go it is all about the people the ones that are here now I just met the general manager she is absolutely fantastic.... I have met and talked with some of the staff that are here now is oh they are awesome... For a fast food store to get help can be hard and again I bring up this town in Scott's bluff Nebraska... Is very very hard... But what they got going on here now they're taking pride in everything that they do and they are awesome with people I I'm gonna suggest that they all get raises because once you've got people that are loyal it's litter loyal you want to show them that you get that they're being loyal and kicking butt... About a month ago I went to this Sonic to get some drinks during happy hour. I ordered 4 drinks. Two of them were slushes, one was a limeade and the other was a soda. After 15 minutes it said my drinks were on the way but they never arrived. After 30 minutes I actually called the restaurant to see if I could get my drinks. It took 5 more minutes to get my drinks. I swore I wouldn't go back. Today my son really wanted a slush so to Sonic we went. The speaker for the drive through wasn't working, so we went to a stall. I pushed the red button and we waited. After 10 minutes nobody had responded. So we left. Their sign says they have new management and a new crew. They suck just like the last ones. It shouldn't take so long to get just drinks. read more

Was excited when we got a Sonic in our city due to eating at one as a kid on a trip and it being amazing. Maybe when this place first opened it was okay. But has since gone downhill and has stayed there for years. Only ate here a handful of times due to terrible experiences that I don't intend on repeating. Uncaring staff, lackluster execution on the food. Drinks seem to be okay usually but you'll probably wait awhile. And I don't think this place is maintained well. Had to wait 20 for a mobile order. When I asked one of the carhops about the order, he simply said he didn't know anything and walked away. Never offered to check for me or anything. I ended up asking for a manager. When I addressed my complaint she made every excuses, claimed that I hadn't been waiting for 20 minutes (I placed the order for pickup at 12:20 pm and got it at 12:40. Never offered an apology or tried to be helpful at all. I doubt I will ever be back at this Sonic location. I visited this restaurant on November 17th, and the lady taking orders heard wrong and put 2 burgers on my order. I hadn't realized it til they brought out my food and I asked for a refund of one of the burgers. They said they issued it immediately in the store, but my bank doesn't reflect that. I've now gone back and forth with corporate and been told they're "escalating my request", only to be ignored once more. Totally turned off from ever eating at a sonic again. When we walked into the seating area it was filthy and smelled like a meat butchering shop. This is not the first visit that was horrendous either.... I'm not from town but have family here so I'm not very clear on when this sonic opened but it's been at least five years. I LOVE sonic and the ones from where I live are so friendly and quick and enthusiastic about they're job and the food so good that it's my go to summer stop. Well this place is the anti-sonic. Like bizarro superman. I've gone to this sonic before when it first opened and had terrible service. Back then I assumed it was because everyone was still training. Then I went in the summer and had bad service, I blamed it on them being overwhelmed Then we went in the winter and had bad service and I blamed it on it not really being the season they're geared to. But tonight, years later when they should've got things down pat, trained everyone and been experts by now was no different. I said I wanted sonics and got an audible groan from the family. I'd heard lore about the infamously bad service but, I was naive. I thought they were exaggerating, no way could it be so bad. We pull up at 7:30 and the place is pretty empty. Not dead but not busy by any means. We order a meager meal for all us and the the guy taking our order seemed friendly and helpful. "See" I thought "everything is fine" but I couldn't be more wrong. We Finish our order and he repeats it back. We ask how much it'll be and are met with silence. I assume this was where the worker was ambushed by the MIB and had his memory erased because he couldn't remember the order that he had JUST helped with. So like talking to a five year old we had to rehash it all back to him. This was made worse by long silences on his end. The card machine seemed to just be for decoration and he assured us that they would come out and swipe it for us and that was the last we heard from this mystery worker. So we wait and wait and wait. Around us cars are leaving in frustration but we are preserving folk. Hope once filled my heart as Justin beiber's doppelgänger appeared with food but turns out instead of having a system that tracks what drive thru aisle orders what they instead send these young souls out into the night going too each car like lost spirits into they find the right one. Flawless system really. Despite this when we asked JB where OUR food was he said with such confidence "oh number two drive in? I'll go get it." Well he must've got lost in the dark because he never returned. Finally after 30-40 minutes of waiting our dear father ventured out to seek out our food and discovered my the manager that our order was never taken. Yeah, that first guy obviously was a ghost, so spooky. Anyways apparently that fact was supposed to fill our stomach because they did not bother to actually take our order or resolve the situation. I'm sure that they WOULD have given us coupons for our trouble but they probably ran out long ago. Terrible!! Drive through took 40 minutes(2 cars in front of me), saw 9 cars drive off. Saw two staff taking a smoke break. By the time I got to the window they did not have onion rings for my order. When I complained about the wait, and then not having onion rings the guy shut the window in my face. The "supervisor" that came to give me my order (which had cold tater tots (the replacement for my onion rings), no onions on my chili cheese dog, and the fries were limp. I went to Sonic on my lunch break today and ordered a large Strawberry Slush and a four piece mozzarella sticks. I get to the front and they tell me my total which was a dollar and some odd cents. a woman handed me a Strawberry Slush with vanilla and no mozzarella sticks. I told her I wanted a Strawberry Slush only without vanilla and mozzarella sticks, she began to complain. So I tell her just to forget it and give me a Strawberry Slush and no mozzarella sticks because I was already getting late to return to work after waiting in line for so long. So she steps away from the window and returns quickly hands me the slush and asked me if I want the $0.51 change that I was supposed to receive, I told her yes and she got upset I then drove away took a sip of my slushy and noticed that it had vanilla in it. I am extremely upset with the service that I received and the audacity that they had to mess up my order and then asked me if I wanted to have my change back, i find this rude and super ridiculous, I will not be returning. waste of time and money and now I'm late getting back to work and have a disgusting slush to show for it was. wasted my time and my money. read more
