I went in for a limeade, was given SPRITE. Came back and the girl gave me a "cherry limeade" with NO Limeade flavor at all, no cherries or lime fruit whatsoever. Just no. I took the fan here because I thought it would be fun for my kids to have the "car hop" experience. They did think it was really cool. But then that was the end of our pleasure with this experience. We got: Chicken strips - They're not "premium" white meat, they're more of a flat pressed strip. A chicken sandwhich - The Texas toast somewhat saved this. But it was just ok. Fries - These were bad and super greasy. Fried pickles - These were ok. They were really cut like French fries so they were square. My daughter really liked them. I just thought they were ok. All Natural Lemonade - my husband actually likes this. It wasn't quite Wendy's food he said. But it was close. Our food came out quickly. But our first set of fries were old and greasy. Someone was coming out who said he worked there. So we asked him if he could help us get fresh fries since you can't actually go in there. He said they'd bring them out. Would like to evaluate the food. I'm 0 for 2 my last 2 trips. Last year tried to get a cheese burger they did not have cheese. Today was going to try again. Only one car ahead of the order speaker. Literally the order is wrong every single time no matter what I order. Its either totally wrong or made wrong. I ordered 4 drinks this last visit, one slush and 3 flavored limeades. None of the beverages had flavoring added. The limeades tasted like bitter carbonated water and the slush tasted like stale water. No refund or replacement was offered when I called the restaurant. We ended up getting a Caramel Banana Shake and Strawberry Cheesecake Shake. Both were very good. I love that they use fresh fruit. No fake strawberry flavor here. Not saying that this is the best Sonic Drive-In of America - because it's not - but they do support a car club of which my in-laws are members. We go to this Sonic quite a bit. The food and service is excellent. But I have to say they mess the order up frequently. They seem to go through alot of help so no one seems to know what specials are going on or coupons. Pahrump is limited to good fast food so Sonic is a good choice if your in town. read more

I ordered a PB Oreo shake. Which came out tasting like nothing. We came back and complained about the taste and they remade my shake no problem and upgraded the size free charge. Can someone tell me how a place like Sonic can be out of food all the time? Is the manager not ordering enough? Yesterday my husband and I went there for breakfast. This was not an acceptable option for us so we decided to cancel our order and have our card refunded. We were told that the refund would come back to our account in 5-7 business days. I'm visiting Pahrump from California and where I live we don't have a Sonic so I thought I'd try it and I was not disappointed. I've come this this location 3 times in 2 days now and obviously I liked it a lot . The food is fairly priced and comes out quickly, I would recommend getting tater tots over fries they're very good. The ordering style where your park and they roll it out to you is neat as well, and the service was friendly every time I came. 4 stars because the manager was kind of rude on the phone which surprises me because all of the employees I interacted with were very polite. You know what is awesome? Sonic Drive-in :) Why? Because Sonic rules!!! For many years i would crave EXACTLY what they were offering. And you know what their food is so awesome. Seriously.....awesome. OK, I bet many are thinking i'm crazy. I have heard from many people Sonic isn't all that. But it's all a matter of opinion. Sonic has a lot going for it that you just don't get in the rest of the Fast-food scene: 1) late-night specials on Burgers 2) mid-day specials on drinks 3) amusement-park style hot-dogs 4) tater-tots 5) smoothies and sundaes 6) slushies and malts 7) chili-cheese which can be added to practically everything and that's just what immediately comes to mind...there's even more to see and sample when you are there... One day I hit up Sonic late at night and did a burger special with a lime slushy. You know, I'm sure in most circumstances a soggy-steamed burger at 11pm would gross me out. But in this case, it was heaven....with that lime frozen elixr driving it home to complete satisfaction. I was hooked like a drug addict on crack. Next morning I wanted to immediately go back..for lunch. So i waited to for 2pm...the start of the infamous Happy Hour. You just gotta LOVE all the drinks available. Man, it's insane. I did a Route44 Real Berry which was like 44 ounces of freshly made strawberry slushy (with a lot of strawberry pulp confirming it was fresh)...all for a measly $1!! WIERD!! Along side this huge mofo I picked up a freakish-ly-long chili-cheese dog with an equally long tray of chili-cheese tater-tots in Sonic size. Hot-damn, this was Yumm-EEE. Later (yes...the SAME DAY), I hit up Sonic AGAIN and got this crazy awesome shake with order of these fantastic onion rings! The NEXT DAY, I head back and hit-up happy hour AGAIN and get a sundae and a limeade in Route44 size once again. Now I was getting close to feeling I was all-Sonic'd-out. But then they throw me this curve ball.... The bell-hop hands over a sheet of....COUPONS!!! DAMN YOU SONIC!! So the NEXT DAY I head over and get another drink, Limeade slushy this time, and another burger. I would have gone back AGAIN, but I ran out of time and had to head back to Oceanside Ca.....BUMMER!!! We were there a couple weeks ago. They left off part of our order. Sent them back for it. We ordered drinks that consisted of coffee and a strawberry iced tea.My husband asked for sugar, had to send her back for that. When she came back with the remainder of our order I hand the coffee back to her and took her that he could not drink it due to the coffee not even being wàrm and it was undrinkable that it tasted like it was from the bottom of the pot after it sat there for a couple hours. Sonic is a unique place. Kinda like a 50's drive up diner with out door seating. The food has been consistently good quality and everyone is always real nice. Can't really do a 5 star because of the trash outside. Unfortunately it's the dirty customers that can't hit the trash cans and the workers have to clean it up....
