Such a disappointment. We parked and ordered from our car. The only good part was the big, easy to read menu. Our order of 2 chicken sandwiches, tots, and 2 cherry limeades took 41 minutes. (And from the looks of the line, we weren't an outlier.) The sandwiches were... okay. The cherry-limeade tasted differently than I remember and not in a good way. Ridiculously slowly service and then the attendant lied to me and said he came out but no one was sitting there so he put it inside (I ordered outside at spot 1 and was sitting next to the stall the entire time). So I'm just going to add to the negative reviews here. Sonic offers special prices on their app. Like Half off drinks and stuff. So thats going to be very very popular in this time frame where EVERYTHING is out of control with prices. So I go on the app to order a Rt44 Sweet tea and I get ready to check out and the app say that my location is not accepting online orders at this time. This is not a new thing for this location. Its almost a everyday kind of thing for them. So I was close and decided to just pull in and order but I asked them if they would honor the app prices since they are not accepting online orders at this time. They said "NO". So I said "GOODBYE" and left. This is not the first time ive complained about this location. But this is the first Im posting on Yelp about this location. Something needs to be done about this. I visited this Sonic 11/23/2022 at approximately 1:25pm. The female working at this time was EXTREMELY rude with a very bad attitude. She rudely told me that there was only two people working so I could not create more then one order while I was still ordering food. I literally have never heard a restaurant say that before but if that is there policy then fine. However; the customer service was absolutely horrible. There was a young man working the window, who apologized for the females behavior, which was the most positive experience while I was there. Do better or find a job that you actually want! read more

UPDATED: I give this particular visit ONE star, but changed the stars to reflect overall, since this was the first time we have had a problem here... Original review: ONE star- I'm a writing this review with the full understanding that it is during a pandemic and I feel we have given sufficient grace in that regard, but I have never had such an awful experience at a Sonic in my life. We arrived to the restaurant at 2:30 p.m. It was pretty busy, so we pulled into stall 12 and pushed the button to order. It took about 5 minutes for them to answer, but as I said, they were busy, so it wasn't an absurd amount of time to wait. Our order came to $31.39. We were paying with cash (apparently a big mistake). I grabbed $40.39 out of my wallet and we waited for our food. While we were waiting, a worker came out with a ticket and asked if that was what we had ordered and we said yes. She went back into the restaurant and then came back out a couple of minutes later and said she would take our payment. We gave her the money and she brought our $9 change. She did not include a receipt, but we didn't think anything of it at the time. We waited for our food. And waited. And waited. Around 4:00, my husband went and knocked on the door to let them know we had been waiting over an hour for our food, and a worker told us that our order had been canceled. The worker re-rang our order and let us know that the meal would be comped. The food came out and we told him, you said the food would be comped? He said, "yes...you don't owe anything." So we said "but we already paid." He asked if we had put it on a card. We paid cash. He disappeared into the store only to come out minutes later and say that they can't even find our order in the system. They wouldn't be able to refund the money because there is no evidence of our order or our payment. I'm sorry, but how is there no evidence of an order she had a ticket for? And where did our payment go, then? The worker showed us the number to call and said they would be able to send us coupons to cover the cost of the food. We called the number and after several holds, we were informed they would be able to send us a coupon, but it wouldn't be anywhere near $30. We told him that we would contact the manager of the store, instead...which we will do on Monday. Now, I'm definitely not trying to be a Karen, here, but it seems a little fishy that our cash disappears and there is no trace of us having made an order. It's not like we are out anything but a couple of hours of our time, but now it's the principle of the thing. Update: after talking to one of the managers at the store and not getting anywhere, we contacted someone at the franchise office and they came through in a big way. One of the worst sonic's I have been to. These will need to be staffed by robots and be fully automated going forward in order to stay open much longer. These young kids just can't cut it. If i could give 0 stars I would. This occasion has now happened multiple times and its ridiculous. After I made my order the person working the drive through read it back to me and it was correct. (I had others in the car that can confirm), i ordered a chicken strip meal with onion rings. Pretty simple right? Apparently not. After a 10 minute wait when I was the only one there, as well as hearing the workers scream and laugh all the way outside, I was handed "my food". When I checked the order and receipt I was rang up for some cinnasnax and onion rings. AFTER SHE READ MY ORDER BACK TO ME CORRECTLY, SHE THEN RINGS UP THE WRONG FOOD. The food here is not the issue. It's excruciatingly slow with insolent staff. They're rude and lazy. I understand maybe they don't like their jobs or maybe they don't feel like they're paid enough so they take it out on the customers. If they don't want to reply while you're at the drive through they wont. They will purposely wait until 15 minutes prior to closing time to quit answering. They leave you hanging until they're closed. The windows are covered as best they can so you can't see what they're doing. It is a consistent ONE HOUR WAIT for me and I only get a large blast. This place needs to close. Very rude and very very lazy. read more
