Despite being notified that my carhop was on the way, she still took another 20 minutes to arrive. At that point, I noticed something concerning--she came from the opposite side, at the very end, which told me she was handling multiple orders at once. As a former manager, I was trained to avoid exactly this scenario, as it leads to confusion and mix-ups--something Sonic corporate specifically warns against. After receiving the wrong order, I returned it and explained that they should not have marked it off the screen so early, as it would result in these exact errors. Unfortunately, she became defensive and, rather than acknowledging the issue, claimed I had no right to instruct her. After I requested to speak with a manager, she walked inside, ignored us, and later admitted that she was indeed the manager. This raised another red flag--if she is a manager, she should not be acting as a carhop. Moreover, managers should not be accepting tips on top of their salary, and when I raised this, she threatened me with trespassing. I want to be clear--I did not harm her, I did not threaten her, and I simply corrected a process to avoid mistakes. It was deeply unprofessional, especially as I was with my 76-year-old mother. She was also wrongly threatened and trespassed, which is unacceptable, as we did not engage in any physical or verbal threats. At no point did either of us threaten anyone or act in a disruptive manner. The decision to issue a trespass warning to her, in particular, appears to be unjustified and improperly handled. This matter has caused unnecessary distress and concern, and I believe it warrants further review and accountability. Please ensure that your team is better trained in these procedures, and that managers know their role and limitations. This sonic has awful customer service I came here two times in the last six months. The first time they answered my stall and told me to wait. Another vehicle pulled beside me and they were served before me then they didn't serve me at all, even after pressing the order button three times. Second time I came up here I ordered two items that came with sauce, I ordered extra sauce and they didn't put any sauce in the bag. No big deal I walked to the front and got some. Then after returning to my car they had forgot to give me one of my items. I went to the bathroom, could hardly walk along the walk to the bathroom when the sidewalk is in full length not even up to code with that When it cuts in zig sagging it makes the walkway smaller I did not see the step- and step-down a fell caught the pole in front of me with my left hand to keep from falling all the way down and hurt my hand left a Brusie. I did complain the lady said well this building is 40 years old told her does not matter. told her the bathroom was not up to code, she pointed to the sign on the door that it is handicapped accessible, told her the sink toilet hand bars are not right. going to file a complaint against the place with the American with disability. act. Today was our granddaughter's birthday, so she ask to get our dinner from Sonic! I've never been so disappointed as I am now! After sitting 20 minutes after pressing the call button, I was greeted with a very rude woman. I know everyone is short handed, but that's no reason for rudeness! I had to repeat my order several times and wasn't sure after that if the order was correct. I ask for the order to be repeated because the screen wasn't working. She didn't repeat my order or give me a total. After hearing her take a order from the car next to us, I did something I've never done before! We left and went to Zaxby's. Had our dinner in less than 30 minutes and service with a smile! I would never eat food from a place where the employees are so rude! You do not know what they'll do to your food. read more

We stopped for breakfast on the way out of town after an overnight stay at Florida Caverns State Park. This is the worst Sonic we have ever had! The breakfast sandwiches were squashed flat, barely warm, and the bacon was sub-par. It was not the usual thick, amazing, crunchy bacon that we love from Sonic. We got the double chocolate twist iced coffee with our meals and they must've used old, stale coffee in it. It was so bitter!! They tasted like my grandpa's 3 day old coffee that he used to drink and would tell you that it'll "grow hair on your chest". Absolutely disappointing. One good thing I do have to say is that the service was really good! When our carhop saw me sitting there by myself with our RV in the next parking lot over, she didn't skip a beat and asked me if I would like a drink carrier. Not only did she get a drink carrier, she packed the individual bags into a larger one and loaded us up with extra napkins. The receipt said the carhop's name is Margarita. We are regulars here, and we usually order through the app. well today, we decided to press the button this one time. we were greeted by a very rude little girl named MaKaiya. Not only did she get our order wrong, she rushed us and when we tried to confirm that our order correct she would snap and say "yes" or just plain out cut us off. i ordered a grilled chicken sandwich (#10) with no lettuce or tomatoes and add cheese, onions, and ranch. when i got my order, it only had lettuce and ranch. when i went up to get them to remake it, she snatched it out of my hand along with the receipt and didn't say anything. when she came back, she had the bag punched between her thumb and index finger and sarcastically said "have a nice day". if i could give 0 stars i would because she was rude AS FUCK! if you don't like your job don't work there. read more

The best Drive In in town! ....the only drive in ...in this town. LOL Good Burgers...And Awesome Coney Dogs! I don't care for their ice cream ...it is mushy in texture and tastes like fat free yogurt. Ughh...how likes that stuff anyway? I absolutely love sonic, I've only had one bad experience with them that I can ever remember. Their mozzarella sticks are great, as well as their burgers. Multiple bad experiences; always at night time. Over a few month period, my family has received undercook food, food that was smashed, and absolute horrible service. A couple times, we sat at the speaker and pushed the button but nobody ever responded. After ten minutes of pressing the button (different speakers each time), we just left. One night, my family was denied service altogether without even an explanation. The employees refused to get the manager (if there was one) and all just huddled in their little building and ignored the service button. We were never confrontational and always acted professionally (unlike them). We have called during the day and spoke with someone who says they are a manage, but they just deny it ever happened and treat me like I am some kind of scammer or something. I never asked for free food, or even to replace the bad food when we did actually get it. I just want an assurance that we weren't wasting trips driving there. But couldn't even get that. So then I submitted messages on the www.sonicdrivein.com website. But over a month now and no response whatsoever. - Our experiences have been almost unbelievable, except they are true. I am happy for those who say they had great experiences. I just wish my family could have been one of them. Maybe I talk different or look different, or maybe our kids in the backseat repulsed them. Who knows? They've never given us an explanation, so I can only guess. Ultimately, it is sad we live in a world where things like this still happen. But we move on and hope our children find a better future (and a better resturaunt). read more
