Nan's is small inside but offers so many items. You can find local honey, boiled peanuts, and gator jerky at Nan's. There are also many kinds of sauces, jams ,nuts, and baked goods available as well as a large assortment of snacks and drinks. Many of these products are Amish made. We found several tee shirts and hats at a fairly good price. Typical souvenir items are available as well. There's so many items packed into one store! I saw flags, wind chimes, shell decor, kitchen utensils, sunscreen, and other basic first aid/toiletries. My husband enjoyed the milk shake he ordered. Rest rooms were rather small and rustic but clean. Would like to visit again if we're in the Marianna area.

I came here alone the first time after spending a few hours at the beach nearby and friend was golfing. There is a front and a side entrance to the place. My first visit was basically checking out the place. They have a wide variety of chocolate and many other candies. Salt water taffy's, they got 'em. There are also other cool finds here as well. Basically a candy and a souvenir shop. Came back with a friend after eating at Nearby Back Porch. I snagged up some Sugar Free candies the 2nd visit. They taste nothing like sugar free and taste like the real candy. This is definitely another place to visit in Destin whether you're spending a day at the beach to getting dessert after dinner.

For visiting on Memorial Day there was no line, the staff was great and very fast service. They also have a wall full of self serve candies and packaged candy. Perfect for every and all sweet tooths. There are tables inside, as well as benches outside. I absolutely LOVED the idea of the frozen banana! I was about to embark on a 7 hour roadtrip and I didn't want to make any bathroom breaks. I convinced my boyfriend to get a scoop of peanut butter pie so I can have a couple bites and it was DELICIOUS! Plus they were not skimping out on the portion sizes! I would definitely recommend and if I'm ever vacationing in the area again - you already know where you will find me!
