I'll start this with the fact that this is my fav fast food place on the planet and I nearly cried when we found out that we were moving within a half mile of a sonic :). Just like every other review here the service is extremely slow! It's cool that they serve breakfast all day though...I like that. The tots are freakin awesome. I often go there just to down a size medium to a large, but it's crucial that I finish them before I get home so my wife doesn't complain that I eat there too much...and don't even get me going on the grape slushy's. Their french fries are so good on their own, they don't need a condiment. (That's good, because in your car there's really no place to squeeze their little packets onto. They need Whataburger or Chick-Fil-A style ketchup.) My footlong chili cheese dog was quite tasty. The woman who brought our order was genuinely friendly, asked if we needed anything else, and promptly brought what we asked for. So what's not to like? The whole idea of eating in your car, for one thing. Tiny stalls that, if you're close enough to order from the kiosk, totally prevent you from opening your door. Stopped by for the $7 meal deal. It showed up cold, not like it had sat out on the counter but like it was cooked yesterday and stored in a refrigerator. Asked for ketchup and dipping sauce for the meal and didn't get any. Called the employees and was told "I'm working alone did you hear me". I can understand being short handed and maybe that's why the burger was cold. I decided to walk up to the building and ask for sauce to help out the lone employee. He wasn't alone there were four employees inside working. I know one of them is nothing more then a liar and this is an establishment you're better off running from, than ordering from. If I could give negative stars I would. Pulled in and placed order at 9:26 via the app. At 9:46 had to glad someone down and the brought our ice cold food to us. Every time we've gone to this Sonic location there's been an issue with food quality and speed. We've gotten food that was cold, we've gotten drinks that are so gross we couldn't drink them. After last night, I think we're going to give up forever though. We got there over half a hour before they closed and pulled into a stall. It didn't take us long to figure out what we wanted and press the button. We waited. And waited. And waited. No one ever answered and we eventually gave up and went somewhere else. Tea tastes like burnt chemicals. Waited 15 min for a replacement drink but had to hit the drive thru to get anyone to serve it. Service: check your receipts!! Total due ( via debit card) should have been $8.57; however at the bottom of the receipt it shows " Change: $0.43"! I never received any change. I wanted a strawberry and lime slushy which should be $1.69 plus $.70 according to the board but the receipt says it is $3.49.even though I took the lime off. I ordered DoorDash from the store at 2305 e 13th in Loveland. I received 2 tator tots and was missing my entire order. DoorDash refunded my order and I ordered again. The dasher was unable to get my food because they refused to give it to her even though she explained what happened. They still refused after being shown proof I was unable to feed my family after waiting for over 2 hours for food. We came for 3 medium ice creams and 1 Sunday. It took over 30 minutes to get. When we got them, not only was the order wrong, the Sunday was literally just a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was possibly the most rude interaction I've had at any restaurant ever. I ordered a #1 with no meat and no mayo. After an extended wait period, our order finally comes out and my burger had meat and extra mayo! It happens, being a vegetarian this happens, so we push the red button to explain the mix up. We wait another 5+ min, my husband had time to finish his burger, hot dog and tots while we waited. Finally, the employee gets back to us. We explain the issue, usually most places just remake the correct burger with no meat. After an extended pause and no response, he finally spoke up and said, "What would you like me to do about that sir, take back the patty?!" At no time did he offer to remake the burger or offer to refund the money their mistake of a burger I could not eat. I dont know if its just this sonic or all of them but i almost laughed when i was told i could no longer get a slush float. They actually advertise a sour patch float but refused to put the same kind of ice cream into a slush of my choice. Seriously? Wont do that? What is up with sonic to be that ridiculous? Worse place ever. I understand that they are short staffed and long wait times will happen. But there was three cars parked which was probably staff members, I pull up to the drive through, not one word came out of the speaker. No hello we will be right with you or anything. Against our better judgement we decided to stop here for a quick snack since we were starving. We pulled up to the drive thru and were asked to wait....we probably waited for about 3-4 minutes before someone even came back. Well that was a first. We ordered, of course their "ice cream machine is broken." We got popcorn chicken meal, mozzarella sticks and a large iced tea. Took another 5 min to get our food while we sat at the window waiting. So as began to order (was just getting drinks) I was rudely asked "are you ok with the wait" and I said "ok" and ordered 3 shakes and a large drink. I tried it out again today (Feb 2019) and got a cheeseburger + jalapenos and again - STONE cold... the cheese was unmelted. Also there were only 2 slices of jalapenos! That seems pretty ludicrous for the $0.70 they charged me! Additionally, I have tried several drive in/parked stalls and never got a response to take my order- I had to pull out and go through the drive through.
