Absolutely terrible service. I have sat at the stall for over an hour for a mobile order, pressed the button multiple times just to be told it would be right out. Then they proceeded to say they sat our food aside for the entire duration we've been here because they didn't think we have arrived yet. I bought lunch for my family at Sonic today. We patiently waited for the order to be prepared just over 16 minutes. The employees came to the window to apologize for the wait and that they were making fresh tater tots which was the reason for the wait. Normally I check the orders but the sweet woman behind me was being impatient and was honking her horn and yelling for me to get going. So I didn't check the order. To keep it short. The person who took my order did not listen to most of what I said. It is very much possible they gave me part of another customers order. All of the meal combos were supposed to be large, two with French fries and two with potato tots. The SS Bacon Cheese burger that doesn't come with pickles came with pickles. The #2 SS burger was plain, nothing but two meat patties and cheese, has to be a special order or someone was just plain lazy and didn't complete making the sandwich. The items that allegedly caused the long wait were not given. They did not give me two orders of fries and two orders of tots. After realizing their error, I called and spoke to a sassy young woman who said she would "fry me some more", I could just, "come right on back and pick them up". When I told her the order preparation was delayed due to having to fry up some fresh tots, she said, "Well that wasn't me so if you want your tots you gotta come get them". She did not respond about the burgers or the soda. It has been a while since I have been to Sonic. I believe the last time I was there I couldn't order anything that wasn't fried and the milk shake machine was being cleaned. Pretty disappointing to spend $43.15 for a family lunch where the order was not taken correctly, prepared correctly, fountain drinks are visibly short of syrups, and over half of the order was not provided despite the fact the delay in receiving the order was the preparation of the items they did not bother to include in the order. One would think with the extra time they had the order could have been checked for accuracy. read more

Food was mediocre at best. The "cheesesteak" I received was he poorest excuse of a sandwich I've ever seen. Everything ordered was sloppily put together and semi-warm. Took someone about 15 minutes to take our order and another 15 after it said someone was "on their way" to bring out our food. They were also sold out on onion rings. The cheesecake shakes we ordered were basically vanilla. The mozzarella sticks were probably the best thing we got and half of them were over cooked. Overall, I do not recommend spending money or time here. There are much better (and cheaper) places to eat. P.S. the pickles on the burger were soggy and gross. read more

This Sonic is hit or miss. When the food is good it's GOOD. When the food is bad it's HORRID. Our last time here, I had to take my Cherry Limeade back three times because they kept making it without the Cherry sauce. Basically, it was just lime and soda water--not a great combination. The ice cream is hit or miss, too. Sometimes the ice cream maker gets too cold and ice crystals form in the soft serve. It's not bad, but I just don't like it. The tater tots are to die for--but order them with no salt so you get a fresh batch. Then salt to your own taste. The onion rings are the one thing that they always get right. Yummy! Even though it's a hit or miss kind of place, we love going here on warm summer nights. The location is great and the people-watching is entertaining. read more

This was the first time I have EVER been to a Sonic. Ordered 1 Large Blue Raspberry Slush. Employees are so confused. $5.10 was the total I was told. I thought, this better be the best tasting blue raspberry slush on the planet, made with real magical blue raspberries. Employee swipes my credit card, then hands me 2 strawberry milkshakes. I said, excuse me, this is not what I ordered. Then she makes 2 blue raspberry slushes after asking if I just wanted 1. I said, no, I only want 1 and would like some money back. After getting a manager, and doing what seemed like an Astro Physics Thesis Paper to figure out how much of a refund I should receive, they hand me $2.39 back. I may be no Astro Physicist, but half of $5.10 is $2.55. Needless to say, I will not be returning to any Sonic location ever again. read more

Very disappointing - I like Sonic a lot, but this was the first time I had been to this location. Ordered a double cheese burger, corn dog and tater tots through the drive thru. Person taking the order was nice, but the person at the window never said a word or even acknowledge anything. Just took money and handed me a bag of food. Got home to find they screwed up the order by giving me a single cheese burger which was cold and the bun was stale and dry. Tater tots were also cold and all of the food had no real taste. Order accuracy is awful. It was similarly terrible last year (three straight visits with wrong orders, so I gave the place time to work things out for several months) but now I've had it and am very unlikely to return. Here's what happened on my two last visits, the last being today: Ordered cheese sticks, small watermelon Nerds slush, large #2 combo (double cheeseburger) with only ketchup and pickle. Our order taker must've been new, because they stumbled over every part of the order. The burger was made incorrectly: I received a bacon double cheeseburger with everything. But it gets better with the last visit, the straw that broke the camel's back. Ordered a #2 combo, same as before. Also ordered a single bacon cheeseburger, plain. Both burgers were delivered with everything, we're sent back. The replacement double cheeseburger was correct, but the single bacon cheeseburger still had everything... except bacon. This time, though, the person who took back the incorrect replacement slammed it into the trash can before heading back inside. Finally, on the THIRD try, we had our correct order. Either the training is lacking, or the quality of employee is lacking. Whatever the case, I'm done being disappointed. read more

I stopped at Sonic to get a quick bite for my family before carrying on with our trip. I ordered 3 meals and a shake to the tune of $30.29. The pretzel dog was cold, the hamburger meal okay and the Boneless wings for $9.49...mind you wings only, were horrible. I ordered honey BBQ and got the spicest bites ever. They were the size of popcorn chicken and not even edible. I sent an email to customer service and got nowhere just a canned response. Let me tell you we have had our last meal at Sonic. I cannot reccommend them at all. Worst experience I have ever had bar none. read more

About a month or so ago I decided to stop by at Sonic while in Lancaster for a bite to eat. Everything was going as normal when my friend and I realized it had been quite a long time and we hadn't received our food and others who we thought had arrived after us had. So we called them again and said it had taken a while and we were assured our order would be right out. Then we waited FOREVER and I had suggested leaving several times when FINALLY our food came out. They said they were not sure what had happened but did not offer to comp the meal or anything after makings wait over 30 MINUTES for our food. This is supposed to be FAST FOOD. I could have likely been in and out faster at the local Applebees. If reviewsd only on service I would have given only one star but since it was hot when we did finally get it and tasted alright I gave them two stars. So beware if you do venture to this joint in Lancaster you may not actually get FAST food. read more

first of all i didn't get a receipt. ordered 2 combos. chili cheese and tots, Chicago dog and poppers. we waited in a 10+ min line. after receiving our food pulled to the and ate. food was COLD. Poppers tasted OLD, the peppers inside tasted OLD, wilted, not fresh. it was raining or we would have took it inside. we went home, had to look up the number since we didn't get a receipt. i paid with a debit card not cash. i called spoke to a male manager. he said, "i see your order right here MAN." who speaks like that. Man. Not sir. I'm not in high school and shouldn't be spoken to like his high school buddy drinking beers at a party. But he said several ummm's and hmmms' and said he would only be able to replace order tonight because even though he looked my order up - I STILL DIDN'T HAVE A RECEIPT. What a miserable experience. I will NEVER go there again and me and my entire family eat there ALL THE TIME! We went back since the manager said he would replace the whole meal only within same night.
