Man finding a Sonic in St. Louis is like seeing a rainbow on Black Friday evening! As apart of my Ferguson / Jennings support I felt it only right to stop and get some ice cream. It was around 12:58-1:30pm today on Monday August 3, 2026 , Me and my finance came through drive through in a white Malibu There is a light skinned uncombed ponytail women on the headset! As We are trying to say our order she says she can't hear us mind you the speaker is already low and we're already loud to trying to accommodate there inconvenience bcuz the speaker is very low and looks to be in bad condition. So mind you we're yelling atp. She stops us again to yell at my finance "YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP, I SAID I CANT HEAR YOU! mind your were yelling atp so it's obviously the speaker but fuck that! Who tf are you talking too! So I say my peace at the speaker BCUX I'm upset at the customer service when cleaners your things aren't working. Any other car can attest to us yelling very loud already to order! So we pull up she proceeds to have a young man serve us and take out money. After we just witnessed her being the only one, on the headset and passing/walking orders out! We don't appreciate the treatment. And lack of accountability. I asked for a mangers number to no answer, so I left and tried to call it run the first time but after the second time straight voicemail from there! They didn't even give me my food after I paid for it - I left empty handed after waiting for nearly an hour. I ordered ahead on the app around 9 and arrived around 9:15. I checked in and the screen displayed my name and said my order was in the kitchen. 45 minutes later, the store closed and an employee told me to leave. I did not get my food that I had already paid for. Do NOT come to this location. I thought the Kingshighway location was bad because the screens didn't work and it took them ten minutes to make a single milkshake, but at least after ten minutes I would actually get what I paid for. Let me start by saying I'm only giving 1 because I have to give a rating . On 7/28 my family and I stopped by this sonics drive through and we order 3 chicken sandwiches. We went home and begin to eat our food . My children's chicken sandwich was fine . But while in the middle of eating my sandwich it was tasting strange and my stomach started turning. So I decided to take a look at my food. Thats when I seen that I was served a "cooked on the outside completely RAW on the inside chicken breast !!! So i immediately called the store a total of 4 times . No response. So I called the 1800 number on my receipt they took my info and told me they will have a manager reach out . That same night I got extremely sick .I did have to go to the hospital.So a week goes by and nobody reached out . So I called back and asked could some one PLEASE call me letting them know I have since went to the hospital and give medication for Salmonella poisoning!! And here we are over a month later and I have yet to receive any type of apology let along a refund for my food . The area manager Troy told me that he will have the store owner contact me and it's been over two weeks with no communication. This has been a very stressful, frustrating, inconvenient and scary situation. I will be taking legal action. Long story short if you love life don't eat here they will give you RAW food and act like they don't care. read more

our family and friends know this sonic as the worst sonic in the entire city; we will go out of our way to drive to a sonic farther away (usually the one in cross keys plaza). the other reviews here are right - you basically don't get service unless you go through the drive through, and this place has not had any ice cream items for years. my advice for anyone eating here is that when they hand you your food through the drive-thru window, make sure you check your food before you drive away. they get something in our order wrong literally every time we have ever eaten there, to the point where we've gotten used to having to knock on the window because half of our food has to be taken back and replaced. read more

The good Lord knows I tried to with his Sonic, but after 3 separate instances of the same thing I think it's time for me to give up.on it. First, I humbly urge whoever owns this Sonic to pull a "Secret Boss" style pull up on their employees because this particular Sonic is a HOT dumpster fire mess! Coming here is a gamble as to of you will actually recieve your food, so NEVER ever pay at the stall. You'll wait for like 20 mins, no matter if you go through the drive through or pull into a stall. Of you are brave and have the free time to be bothered with going into a stall, if/when you get your food, check it and your change! If you decide to venture through the drive through, you may as well just drive to the window because you will have to repeat and wait for your order there. A benefit to this is you can somewhat watch the get your things together. I'm literally sitting at the window as I typed this entire thing- STILL waiting on a shake! I have been to this location multiple times and it appears to not be able to handle a large flow of customers. If it's busy, be prepared to wait for an undesirable long time for a drive thru. I ordered a simple frozen strawberry limeade . Took at least 15 min to get to the window, where the young lady stated they were having technical difficulties. The entire staff looked like high schoolers and they were joking to each other. I repeated my order. She proceeded to give me a regular limeade and when i told her it wasn't frozen, she replied it was. I shook and it was not frozen, just the regular ice. She was becoming confused but thankfully got it right...with of course syrup dripping down the side of the cup . I had to show her the cup to ask for a napkin . I'm surprised they didn't offer something for a free drink, but i was just glad to get out of line. read more

When I got my food it had ketchup and mustard along with pickles & mayo. No bbq sauce. I took it back along with my receipt asked for my money back. The food was taken to the cook who scraped off the toppings & added some bbq sauce. When the young lady came back with my money the cook was behind her reprimanding me about the burger. He proceeded to tell me the burger comes with ketchup & mustard . I have ordered this numerous times & it has never come like that. Sadly they did not perform to customer satisfaction standards at all. After waiting in the drive through for 10 minutes and more, it hit 9:00 when I finally got to the window, only to be told that because I ordered the 3 shakes at 8:48pm it wasn't at 9:00 so I don't qualify for the 1/2 off shake promos which startes at 9:00.
