This is genuinely the worst Sonic i've ever been to. We ate inside ONCE & the employees were all sitting in the dining room vaping. So unprofessional. We've gone through the drive thru a handful of time & have not once gotten our food AT the window regardless of there being a line or not. Just today we waited over 15 for 2 chili dogs. We attempted to order at the stalls once & nobody responded for about 10mins so we just went through the drive thru. I didn't realize Sonics had dine-in areas. The dine in area was small, but clean. The staff was busy filling orders and not very personable when taking the order. The food was greasy and tasted okay. It might be my expectations were too high but I remembered sonic food being better. It was okay at best. HOWEVER. The sonic big scoop cookie blast was absurdly delicious. It was the perfect amount of smooth ice cream and chunks of cookie dough. There's a dump of cookie dough on top and bottom with some mixed in between. I was missing 3 item. I order a lager order 3 med drink, 20 honey chipotle jr. chicken sandwich and 1 foot long quarter pound coney. I went back and told them I was missing some food and the cook got mad told everyone who work there that I was lying and that he remembered he pack my order right. As I was driving off, my bf and I realized that the shakes were not the flavors we ordered (ppl make mistakes) but we were running late to a movie so we decided if they were still open, we'd go back after the show. We did. Maurice helped me at the front counter inside the dining area. The wonderful hospitality, kindness and customer service he provided is why I am giving 5 stars (plus the ice cream is good when it's what you order). He made us brand new shakes and apologized for the inconvenience. The service industry is a tough place to work in, especially at the tail end of the pandemic, and with short staffed establishments, but Maurice showed no hesitation to fix the issue when I explained the situation.
