    Sonic Receipt

This was my experience. Date of Service: 3-22-20 19:02:16 Online Order, Stall 9 Check #54715 I returned approximately 25 minutes after picking up the order. Upon arrival a young lady (who later gave her name as "Ryan") appeared not to be happy because I had tapped on the window to get someone's attention. I explained the SS Double Stack Cheeseburger had mustard and mayo. The receipt bears out our request for the omission of these condiments. I asked her if "she wanted the cheeseburger". She said "no". I promptly threw it in the garbage can. I told her "we had not received the small French Fries with cheese". She immediately contradicted me by saying "the fries were in the bag along with the other fries." I said, "they were not". I also told her they had omitted the toy in the Kid's Meal. I told her I wanted them to replace the small Tater Tots that I had received because they would be cold when I returned home. I would not eat cold Tater Tots. She stated that they wouldn't provide the Tater Tots because I had not returned the original Tater Tots. I stated, "I wasted my time and gas because your company did not complete the order as requested". I told her if you would not fulfil my request to send the manager. She left in a "huff" (blowing rushing air threw her nose) with no comment. About 7 minutes later she returned giving me the cheeseburger, cheese fries, and toy but not the Tater Tots. She said, "it's against company policy to replace non-returned items." I told her, "I want to see a manager." As she turned to leave I said, "I want my receipt back." As she turned to go inside again, I asked her name and the manager's name. She said, "why do you need that?". My answer: "because I want the names". She then stated her name as "Ryan" and the manager's name as "Demetra". As she turned around, she made an inaudible comment. She approached a lady facing the opposite direction of me. The lady shrugged her shoulders and the employee returned with the receipt. Not saying a word, she returned the receipt, immediately turned and walked indoors. By the time I sat in my vehicle, a friendly and polite young lady brought me fresh Tater Tots. At no time did Ryan or her manager, express any concern, responsibility or apology for my incorrectly filled order and/or the inconvenience it caused my family. Instead I received an arrogant attitude. I can only imagine the number of your customers that have been disrespected by this employee and manager! You can be sure, I will pass this message along to relative, friends and acquaintances. I received this reply: Response (03/24/2020 05:44 AM) Dear Ken, "... I have submitted your concern to Management and someone will be in touch with you shortly." Sincerely, Sonic, America's Drive-In Customer Care Team Four day later. No response from "Management".

Firehouse Subs, hey little PSA!…read more I didn't realize this place was showing such poor management skills and the staff not providing quality orders! I ordered a TURKEY BACON "RANCH" sandwich for lunch, but it wasn't ranch -- more like some kind of honey mustard. I don't have time to come back and get it remade. When I called, they told me they can't do anything unless I bring the sandwich back right now. I said, "I can't do that, and gas isn't free!" They just said, "Oh well, that's our policy." So basically, they can mess up your food and still expect you to pay for it! I'm really tired of places making mistakes and expecting the customer to pay for them. This was at the Hammond location. The sandwich cost $15 and was ruined. Yes, I got frustrated because they kept saying it's their policy. But the policy should be to make sandwiches correctly or at least not inconvenience customers. Then some guy on the phone said he was the manager. When I asked for his name, he started saying this is ridiculous and kept cutting me off. Meanwhile, a girl in the background called someone else and said there was a lady on the phone having a full-on meltdown. I wasn't upset until they got rude to me, cutting me off saying "oh well," and expected me to just drop everything and rush back. They basically told me, "Well, I messed up, and you need to come back to fix it, otherwise you're out of luck." The guy said, "Ma'am, sorry, but we're busy!" When I picked up my order, there were only three customers and three workers there. The management and staff are unprofessional, and it's disappointing to see such poor service. Use to go here all the time and the people there were so polite and knew who i was. Never had this happen before. Really sad

Definitely looks like a vintage diner. Booths along one wall, metal tables, checkered theme throughout. The floors were clean, the booth was clean as well. My only ick was the glass doors and windows could use some cleaning throughout on a regular daily basis and it would sparkle like a diamond! A very nice young man gave us menus and promptly got us drinks. We ordered a small onion ring for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Medium sliced onions, lightly breaded and piping hot. For our meal hubby got a side salad with thousand island, an open face roast beef and gravy sandwich and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. I got the Gene Autry which is a chicken fried steak dinner. Served with mashed potatoes with cream gravy and a side salad. It took a little bit for the food to come out, but that's because they cook to order. Everything was piping hot. Large portions, we both had leftovers to bring home. Known for their hand scooped and soft serve ice cream and desserts. For our dessert we ordered a Hershey's chocolate ice cream cone. Hand scooped, delicious! Price wise, it cost us $50 including 20% tip. I did read some negative reviews but did not find any of these things on our visit. Will definitely come back!

5/5 -- A Ponchatoula Gem You Have to Try…read more If you ever find yourself anywhere near Ponchatoula, do yourself a favor and stop at Toula Burger on W Pine Street. I walked in expecting a good burger... I walked out questioning why every other burger in my life hasn't been held to this standard. From the jump, the vibe feels like what a small-town Louisiana burger spot should be: warm, welcoming, and buzzing with people who clearly know they're in for something special. You can tell the crew cares -- not just about making food, but about creating a place the community is proud of. I ordered the signature burger, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the kind of bite that makes you pause. Perfectly seasoned beef, cooked exactly how I asked, layered with toppings that taste thoughtfully chosen rather than thrown together. The bun held everything like a champ -- soft enough to enjoy, sturdy enough to keep the whole experience tidy. It's the little things, and they nail every one. The fries? Golden, salty, addictive. The kind of fries you keep eating even after you're full because "just one more" somehow becomes ten. What really stood out, though, was the service. Ponchatoula is known for its hospitality, but the folks at Toula Burger take it to another level. Genuine smiles, real conversations, and you can feel the pride they have in what they've built. It's refreshing. To the owners: Y'all created something special here. You've got a spot that feels rooted in community but tastes like it belongs on a national "must-try" list. I'd love to know more about the inspiration behind the menu -- especially what led you to craft a burger that balanced richness and freshness so perfectly. Keep doing what you're doing; the attention to detail shows. I'll absolutely be back -- and I'll be bringing people with me.

He is a burger aficionado. While the hand patted Burger is fantastic, my husband commented that every single time he has been there the fries are lukewarm. I opted for a hand battered shrimp Poboy. The batter was really good. Served freshly fried. If you're weird about veins in your shrimp, these are not deveined shrimp. The problem is that the bread to shrimp ratio is off. It's a really thick bread. The restaurant atmosphere is so quaint and homey. The staff was so friendly. I can chalk the bread thing up to personal preference but they need to do better with hot fries.

Also, we took not that the tenders were much larger than the other chicken tender place with the bland sauce and soggy fries ... The chicken was seasoned, it looked like it was marinated as we could see under the breading something that looked like hot sauce. It was very good! At the other place, we have to order their largest meal plus two tenders to fill up. The four piece at Bojangles filled us up.
