This place had improved SO MUCH. They recently reopened and had a complete total makeover. The drinks ar really great, and the food is always hot. I was heading home on I 35 south and decided to stop at the Glenn Heights Sonic drive through. The service was okay but I felt RUSHED. I didnt get a reciept after using my credit card. - I was so looking forward to that first familiar bite of a Delicious Sonic burger, one patty and MUSTARD. i TOOK MY HUSBAND the two patty burger. He likes Mayonase. The burger wasnt anything like the traditioinal Sonic burger. The taste and flavor of the sauces was very dissapponting. Who puts Katchup, mustard and mayonaise on a burger? We only wanted ONE - HE orders mayo and I order mustard. The onion rings tasted like it had been rolled in surgar. The tator tots were etable, but even those didnt taste fresh and didnt have that familiar Sonic flavor. - Is it just the Glenn Heights location or has Sonic changed the formula or recipes for their traditonal Sonic burgers. These people are not lying, this is one of the worst Sonics I've ever been to. This property is in shambles, they never have the light one, they are constantly out of everything. It could easily take you 20 minutes just to get a drink. They do answer the stalls and leave you waiting in the drive thru indefinitely. Awful experience. Waited for almost 25 min at a booth. Not one time did I see anyone come out to deliver food to any other stall. Worse Sonic Drive Ever This is going to be short and quick. The food at this particular Sonic is so bad the facility, seriously, should be shut down. The food is prepared with no attention to quality and just thrown together. My last straw was reached when I ordered a burger and onion rings a while back. When I got home and opened my little bag I was shocked. The burger looked like it had been sat on. The onion rings were nothing more than three (3) greasy onion skins- it was like someone had played a really bad joke on me. It used to be one of the better sonics in the area hi ever services for because they typically do not have enough workers and if you drive by it, there's no longer a sonic sign out there. They messed my burger up twice! Re-wrapped it in the same wrapper , the burger not only had everything wrong with it, but was sloppily made! Mayo and mustard was dripping off the sides and fell onto my work uniform! I just left this location because online it shows they close at 11pm and it is 9pm. I get there and no answer on the stalls so I went to the drive through and still no answer so I drove away & as I drove I saw in the inside the workers were sitting and standing just on their phones. The customer service at this place keeps lowering the bar. We just pulled in to get some breakfast this morning. It was slow looking, maybe 2 cars in the drive through and none in the stalls. We pulled up in a stall, never know if there is something new on the menu. After pushing the button we are greeted with "what do you want?" Not a hello or good morning or anything pleasant. After that, the exchange went downhill from there. All we ever heard after we started ordering was "what else?" A few times we couldn't even respond fast enough before "what else?" came over the intercom. There probably should be more training on customer service for that location. Just an idea. read more

Went at noon and only 4 other cars there. Simple order, CB, totos, Diet coke. Had a lot of trouble relaying as I couldn't hear them. When car hop came out she repeated the order, I gave her exact change and then gave her .50 cents for a tip. She just rolled her eyes and walked away, just took it and left. Well of course they gave me the wrong order. I pushed the button again and told them I was given the wrong order. Nothing happened no comment or anything. I got out of the car and as I was walking to the entrance a young man came out and asked if he could help. I sat the order down and then the car hop said whatever and rolled her eyes at me again. My family and had an issue on 10/12/17 I reached out to the Managers about our issues. He was very nice and sweet and understanding. He gave me a choice of a refund or he'd give us the order and no cost if we decided to come back. Which was very nice. I did go back and the manager on hand was amazing.
