When I asked the cashier to actually add the toppings for a blast she said they were blended into it. I showed her that they are clearly not, it just soft serve ice cream. Don't use the APP! We decided to use the app to make ordering quicker and we thought easier. However, they were out of pickle fries. Okay NP refund it. Said they can't... okay replace it with tots or something. Said they can't do anything because we used the app and they've never had this before. Terrible service. Made me pull through the drive thru to pick up an online order which defeats the entire point of placing an online order. When I saw how long the drive thru line was I walked up to the door and could see my food sitting there but all the staff ignored me and acted like they couldn't see me standing right by the door/window. Seems like Sonic is our go to date night place right now. Who knew? Pandemic date night = Sonic. We had already eaten but I wanted a chocolate milkshake so he suggested sonic as it was close to where we were running errands. So we drove on in and pulled into a spot. Ordered a chocolate sundae instead of a shake when I looked at the menu. He ordered a sonic blast with a particular topping but they didn't have it and came out to let us know. He got Oreos instead. The view was nice from the parking spot. Wide open fields. The chocolate sundae comes in only one size. It was a little small and left me wanting more. But probably better for me. Smooth, creamy and delicious. Would get again. He liked his sonic blast and we both finished our desserts quickly. It was a nice date night. read more

Went through the drive thru about 4:00 today and all the food was good but the real strawberry slush tasted like chemicals. Not sure if it was some kind of cleaning agent but it absolutely should not have been consumed. I was already on the road back to Peyton before I took a drink and noticed it. I've been going to this Sonic since they opened. USED to like a lot of things about this place... probably won't go back anymore... last few trips: my BLT was horrible... hardly anything in it plus it was really dry... they forgot the mayo... another occasion they overcooked my onion rings (plus there was excess grease at the bottom of the onion ring bag)They obviously felt they were ok to serve like that. The last time I went, they completely destroyed their grilled chicken sandwich by changing the ciabatta to some plain hamburg bun (this may have been a corporate decision but still enough to stay away). And one last pet peeve - why (if I'm going to a fast food restaurant) would I want light mayo?! I can only add that the service at the window is good and cordial but they keep handing me a bag full of mistakes! read more

Having been a child when sonic first opened I'd have to say they've certainly gone down hill as a fast food restaurant. I don't know what it is about sonic but ever since I was bout 12 every time I've gotten food from here I've gotten sick. I don't care what I order. If it's popcorn chicken, a burger, or just ice cream. I don't know if it's their food source or the cleanliness of the establishment that causes me to get sick, but the only thing I can go there for is a limeade. Even then the drive through takes for freaking ever when there is barely anyone in front of you. I won't be eating Sonic again. But I'll get an a Casio also had priced drink. read more

The service and the food is always great here. The staff have always been friendly and above and beyond great service, but..... please teach these kids to count back change!!! Yes, I know fast food reviews are a bit lame. However, aside from Subway, this is the only fast food in Elizabeth. It is nice to have a place that is open until midnight. I will frequently swing by on the way home to grab a vanilla ice cream cone. There is seldom much of a wait, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The drinks, ice cream, tots and hot dogs are always fine. I am less impressed with the burgers. Prices on them seem a little high and I have had the occasional "stalish" bun. read more

I love that I can get a milk shake in the middle of my work day. I also like that I can grab some mozzarella sticks. My only complaint is that they always forget to give me my marinara sauce, always. I ordered a double cheeseburger with regular fries this evening (1/24/2020, 6pm) in the drive through lane. I also ordered a Sonic M&M Blast. Firstly, the Sonic M&M Blast was handed to me about 5 minutes after the burger and fries, so, the burger and fries cooled considerably while waiting for the Blast. Secondly, when I got home I discovered the M&M Blast had about 10% of the normal amount of M&M's I had received in the past and all of them were at the bottom of the cup. I was greatly disappointed in the long wait in the drive through and the poor service, and quality of the Blast. I do not plan to return to the Elizabeth Sonic Drive-In unless I hear that corrective action has been taken to ensure I and others will receive a quality product and service for a fair price. read more

Don't even consider going to this Sonic at or after 8 PM. I have been there twice and it has taken over 30 minutes to get my order on both occasions. I ordered my meals at a drive in station and it's obvious that people going to the drive thru have priority to people eating at the restaurant. This restaurant is not capable of handling the orders and people arriving at the stations on both sides of me cancelled their orders and received refunds without receiving their orders. Waiting for over 30 minutes is not fast and I wanted to share my experiences to prevent others from wasting their time. Go somewhere else and save yourself time and frustration. read more

So I frequent this sonic pretty often as it is pretty much the only place to get ice cream in this town at 10:30 pm. Anyway I get to sonic to get a M&M blast, their lights are still on, it's like 10:35, they close at 11. I pull into the drive thru and they turn off the lights right as I pull up, weird I think to myself while checking the time. It's not even 11 yet. I keep waiting in the drive thru to hopefully get some ice cream goodness at 10:35pm. And as I am waiting one of their employees comes out of the bushes. YES THE FORKING BUSHES. To tell me they are closed. By the time I left sonic it was 10:40. So I don't know what the heck is up with sonic but if you close at 11 you close at 11 ok. What a Sham! I'm just trying to stuff my face hole with some freaking ice cream with some M&Ms mixed in. I hope the employees that decided to close 15 minutes early have the same happen to them. May everywhere you go close early and I hope Karma will strike when it is most inconvenient to you :) read more

For fast food they do a great job. The kids are always polite, the service is great and I've never had a problem with my order. I have a serious addiction to their ice and go through the drive through at least 4 times a week, plus purchase bags of ice. read more

We have been to this Sonic several times in the past year. It seems to be hit or miss. Several times they have gotten the order wrong and left things out of our bag that we paid for. Tonight was the last straw though. The chili cheese coney hotdogs were burnt to a crisp-they were not even edible. I couldn't cut them with a fork-hard as a rock and black! My son's grilled cheese sandwich was burnt as well,and he wouldn't eat it. What a complete waste of money. We had to throw most of it out and eat something else. I have been driving to Elizabeth since we live halfway between Parker and Elizabeth. Next time I will drive to Parker! read more
