What a terrible experience! We are on a road trip from the fort worth area to California for a funeral. We stopped at this location because we thought they would be good. I ordered the combo which I thought included fries and a drink. I ordered a corn dog and a cranberry limeade for my wife. When served I didn't get my drink so I asked and they said a combo didn't come with a drink. I went back up and ordered a drink and asked if they could expedite it since they didn't give me my drink. 5 minutes later they show up with my drink. My son in law had ordered chili fries and they didn't bring it. When he explained they missed it they claimed it wasn't part of the order. He had to dig his receipt out of the trash to prove it. Emily Grace was the manager on duty so we were told. We have never had an experience like this at a sonic. The food isn't the greatest and the cost is getting higher all the time. You really need to bring your A game if you want to keep customers. Whoever reads this I would say bypass this place and go to one of the other places in town. Management shouldn't make their customers dig in the trash to prove what they ordered. read more

Beat Sonic ever ! The burger was actually hot, tots were covered in cheese and the cheese was actually melted. It's rare these days for fast food places to actually have a little pride but this one was great. The little guy who brought out our food was so sweet. The two times I've come for the cheap corn dog day they didn't even answer the intercom, but my wife loves the slushees and SONIC as a brand so we go together a couple times a year. They rebranded but I don't know how much that really changes the atmosphere yet, the work and food will tell. I just can't stand it. Prices grow there every month. read more

This place is hot or miss. Tonight, 6:30 on a Tuesday night, was a miss. If you order from the parking spot they can't seem to hear you. So instead of a cheeseburger I got a super sonic double patty. The top patty was not a solid piece of meat, it was a jumble of patty parts. The taste was of old fry grease and it fell apart when trying to eat it. The service was fine otherwise. Chicken strip dinner comes with 1 onion ring, tots & chicken strips. We had no onion rings. If you can't complete the meal, don't advertise it comes with an onion ring. Or discount it! read more

Food was hot and fresh, but the girl at the speaker/window had major attitude. I ordered a large tater tot and then I ordered mozzarella sticks. She said what size and I asked what sizes they had. she told me and I told her which one I wanted. She repeated which mozzarella sticks I wanted but that was all. Then she said "is there anything else?" I asked her "did you get the large tater tots?" And she says "well that's why I asked if you wanted anything else. Thanks Childress Sonic. My wife and I were passing through on a trip from Santa Fe to Fort Worth. A few days prior all the hotels were full. Childress you let me down. Today went to that hamburger arches place, no lunch served before 11am, Childress you let me down. Drove over to Sonic, Manager says, "we have full menu all day." Wow! Awesome! Very busy Sonic...as they go. It's a 4, but giving it 5 to balance out negatives. First of all, it has a large DINE-IN area that is outdated and has a few miles on benches and tables, BUT it is nice, cool, and comfortable. Enjoyed watching cars go by the Drive-In. The food was Excellent; no complaints whatsoever against the cuisine. They were a little slow with food, forgot any napkins, but staff is very friendly. Obviously, the Drive-In is priority and they were extremely busy so I can sympathize with the simple oversight. Bathrooms: they were NOT disgusting (unless you thought you were stopping at Buckey's or a 5-Star resort). As bathrooms go, they are generally not Sonic's forte so I was not at all disappointed. The bathrooms were NOT dirty except for a few pieces of tissue and one paper towel on the floor. (As seen in photo). That can happen in five minutes and in-between cleaning. They even smelled of cleaner. Access: Normally, it is very difficult for us to get into a Sonic because we pull a 40' 5th wheel, but the parking lot is in a strip mall and there was a place for trucks (undesignated, but evidently well known for Sonic and local Bank customers) Stop in...don't be scared off. read more

On Saturday evening on 9/10 stop in to eat. Placed a order and the order was wrong. The young blonde manager was rud and wouldn't Refund the money for their mess up on the order. I never stop in there again because of her actions. If I was the owner of that store I would fire her and send her on her way. Food sucked. They couldn't prepare a grill cheese without screwing it up. Customers need to stay away From that place. read more

I always have amazing service here. Absolutely love this place. Whenever I stop here, it's generally on the way to work or on the way back home. I've only had one time out of the hundreds of times I've been here where the food wasn't hot and fresh. If you're looking to eat in, it will save you some time to place a mobile order. They don't put anyone in specific on front counter, so by the time they get a chance to take your order, they could already have a mobile order ready. It's definitely worth the wait and the money. The lobby provides good ambiance. The employees are always friendly(I once had an almost twenty minute conversation with an employee once while I ate). You can definitely tell that this location puts more value on customers and employees than money. If you don't have much money and want something filling, they have an amazing burrito that has Fritos, Chili and cheese for less than two dollars. read more

Passing through we decided to stop and eat inside! The set up is so confusing! Even though the doors are nicely decorated there is no sign that says entrance or exit! Once we figure out what door to go in through, the place is set up nice, huge seating area! There was no one in the front just two kiosks. We waited. Few minutes and a lady came out from the swinging doors in the back to take order! The 3 stars are for her! She was really friendly and got our order right. After our order was placed, she took another order and disappeared to the back. It was so impersonal that there was no one in the front. When we got our food! Bathroom was dirty which should have been cue to go elsewhere, however, I didn't head the warning. Ordered onion rings and 2 cone sundaes. I am in the group that thinks that this Sonic does not live up to brand standards. We have been here multiple times, and have found that it is dirty and just does not put out a food product that is equal to what I am used to. We have officially marked this one off our map and no longer stop here. There are lots of new options going up in town that make better places to stop. read more

I love sonic.. But everytime i eat at this one i get super bad diarerria doesnt matter what i order.. For example double bacon green chili burger my fav.. 5 mins after straight for toilet.. Ok then tried on another day cocoanut creme pie shake got home blew the toilet away.. Umm maybe just a coincidence i thought.. Took a friend to get ocean water we both got sick immediately this sonic has been put on the family's permanent band of restaurants which is a shame because i love sonic .. We were going from Fort Worth to Amarillo and we stopped in and it was the nicest place ever.

The food was gross and over cooked. They got our order wrong. I was barely able to eat any of what we got. Will not be returning ever.

This was the nastiest restaurant I have ever been in. Bathrooms were disgusting - smelled of urine, mysterious drippings on walls, toilets and stall doors. It doesn't seem that the seating area has been cleaned since the previous restaurant closed. Seats, tables and dividers were black from grime. All the tables needed cleaning when we sat down. The food was more greasy than a normal Sonic and not up to the standards of most Sonic food we have eaten. The staff was friendly but we will not return to this Sonic. read more
