The actual worst sonic location. We sat at the stall for 20 minutes on a mobile order, walked in and staff said the order never went through. They offered to make the order and add whatever extra we wanted. We didn't ask for extras but did ask for the drinks to be upgraded to RT 44 sizes (that didn't happen). When the drinks came out smaller than what was ordered, I asked for them to be remade. One still came out wrong and needed to be remade again. We waited another 20 minutes inside for food. It's supposed to be fast food for a reason. Multiple people with very long hair not properly secured. The health department would really pay this establishment a visit. This is the absolute worst sonic on the planet!! I've been a handful of times and every time has been an awful experience and a waste of money. The first time I ever went I ordered chicken tenders and french fries and they literally tasted like they came out of a garbage can. They were so disgusting I couldn't even eat them. Today I went through the drive through and they got my order wrong so I pulled around and let them know very kindly and patiently of the mistake. After waiting about 10 minutes at a station, someone yelled across the parking lot "have you been helped?" and I said "no I am waiting on my burger". He continued to play on his phone. After several more minutes, I had to get to an appointment and started backing out. Please remember I had already paid for the incorrect burger and was waiting for the new one. He then yelled at me as I was backing out and started screaming that I should have gone through the drive through for fast service and honestly I felt UNSAFE!! The way in which he was yelling at me for leaving with food I already paid for made me feel so uncomfortable and I didn't know what he would do next!! Ultimate breakfast burrito had no tater tots, I ordered the new BBQ Chip tots, they didn't give them to me... then I waited at stall for 10 minutes after pushing the button to ask for them... no response... got out of the car, went in... waited for them... and I got a box of tots drench in bbq sauce... in a container that was cold and had bbq sauce all over. I placed an order for pickup with the Sonic app in their parking lot, and immediately tapped the "I'm Here" button in the app and entered which stall I was parked in. The charge immediately came through on my credit card. After waiting for 20 minutes, I pressed the call button on the menu board. A guy came on and informed me that they weren't taking orders from the stalls, only the drive through. I told him I had already placed an online order with the app over 20 minutes ago. He asked for my name and I told him. A few minutes later he came back and asked what I had ordered. I went over the order with him. He told me he'd get it together and have it out to me in a few minutes. After 30 minutes from the time I had placed the order, I was still waiting. The lady in the car parked next to me got out and went up to the building. In a few minutes she came back with a bag of food, and drove away. In a few minutes, I went up to the building and an employee asked if she could help me. I told her that I was waiting for my order and it had still not been brought to the car. She went to check on it. A few minutes later she came back with a foot-long chili cheese Coney and a bag with french fries. She asked me what drink I had ordered. I told her, and she went back in to get it. It took 44 minutes from the time I ordered until I got my food. I went back to the car, and started to eat the chili cheese Coney. It was cold! I mean straight from the refrigerator cold! The only thing warm on that Coney was the chili. I decided to take it home and warm it up in the microwave. It was obvious that the A-Team was not working today. The business was not even that busy, And it looked like five or six people were working inside. Unbelievable! I spent more time waiting for a hotdog, fries, and a drink than it took me to get my car inspected and drive back across town. I feel compelled to share the rude treatment I received at the Sonics on Church Street, Burlington, NC. I drove up to the drive thru to place my order and could barely hear what the worker said, but I caught that she was telling me to wait. After waiting beyond what was a reasonable time, I said, "Hello, hello". The person still could not take my order but could say, "You don't have to yell". By this time, I was at the window, and was told because I yelled,(which by the way, I had not yelled) she was not going to serve me. I went inside and asked to speak to the manager. The person who accused me of yelling at her and refused to serve me was the manager. After going back and forth on who had rudely spoken to whom, I told her I had not intended to be rude to her and although I felt I had been disrespected by her, I thought we both should apologize to each other. She refused, but said she would serve me and rudely asked did I still want the order. When I said "yes", she said I needed to go back outside the store, and drive my car to the end of the drive-thru line to be served. That's when I told her I would be placing a complaint and left the restaurant. I have failed to say I am a 72 year old lady, and the female worker/manager looked to be about 30. Well... I never expected to be called a b.... at a restaurant before! Went to this location and waited 25 mins in line at the drive thru. (Which was no problem at all, I understand places are short staffed!) However, when I got my order they had left off an item (2 orders of soft pretzels). I let the cashier know that it was left off the receipt and not in the bag. He said "I didn't take your order, so I don't know".
