A cake cone, that comes with 2.5 scoops, in vanilla. (They have larger options incase you are wanting more ice cream.) We also ordered a raspberry milkshake, which was delicious. Every time we come, we are greeted and served quickly. They have tasting options, so if you come and can't decide, just ask to try a flavor. If you don't want a regular cone, they also have bowls, mixers, sundaes, and a 4 scoop sampler. They have a few tables outside and a little cornhole set up to play a round or two if you have time. This spot is definitely worth the stop!

Mr. Henry's Real Fruit Ice Cream has been open in Burleson for an entire year, and somehow I had no…read moreidea it existed. Thankfully, Rose at the antique mall told me how amazing it was. She was not exaggerating. Honestly, she may have undersold it. The shop is inside a charming house, which makes the whole experience feel less like visiting an ice cream store and more like stopping by the home of a very talented friend with exceptional taste in desserts. It is comfortable, welcoming, and a great place to hang out while convincing yourself that fruit mixed with ice cream is basically a serving of produce. They make New Zealand-style real fruit ice cream by blending actual frozen fruit directly into creamy vanilla ice cream. The result is incredibly fresh, smooth, and full of real fruit flavor. It is not ice cream with a sad little strawberry waved over it for decoration. You can actually taste the fruit in every bite, and the texture is unbelievably creamy. It is easily some of the best ice cream I have ever had. Then there is Mr. Henry, the coolest dog in Burleson and clearly the real owner of the establishment. He provides excellent customer service, supervises the operation, and brings the kind of effortless charm most businesses could never afford to hire. Delicious ice cream, a unique setting, wonderful people, and an extremely handsome canine executive, what more could you ask for? I am only disappointed that it took me a full year to find this place. Thank you, Rose. You were absolutely right! Also, when are we getting a second location? It can't remain a secret. tell all your friends.

I practically said the words, and the order was in my hands. The tea at this location is really good, sometimes I'll go to them and it's just not sweet enough and I don't enjoy it. This one had enough flavoring in it to make me happy, and to tell there was some raspberry in there! There's a lot of seating available, to enjoy your custard outside as a cool yummy contrast to the heat, however, I mentioned that I just wanted to bring mine home and eat it later and they were willing to double cup it for me to travel with and give me a lid which was very kind of them! It froze super well, and was just as creamy as when I got it despite the fact that sat in my freezer for a few hours, and I didn't have it until the evening time. I'm hoping to make my way back to get one of those commemorative cups when you get a larger size, especially knowing that it can handle time in my freezer.

We entered and were greeted as we reviewed the menu. I chose the ASAP rocky road and my daughter chose Cheers Bears or something like that. I mentioned to my daughter that I'd never seen ice cream as it appeared on the images but was open to trying it. The presentation was beautiful however I wasn't fond of the texture as I prefer a creamier one when purchasing ice cream from a shop as opposed to the grocery store hence only 4 stars. Other than the texture, the flavors of the nuts, chocolate sauce and marshmallows were great. It was $12 for 2 smalls so due to cost and texture, I can say I've tried it but won't be back.

I went back later with my kids and the employees were so nice and friendly and the store is decorated cute. The only reason they aren't sold out, putting ice cream stores out of business with a line going around the block is because people likely have just never tried it before. Some are unique like Hot Chocolate or Cookie Monster and others are classic like Homemade Vanilla or Cookie Dough. Braum's also sells all sorts of groceries, and you can get a burger or the like from the grill. I've never tried their burgers, but maybe I'll give a shot soon. The grocery prices are reasonable, and they carry lots of the same brands you'd find at a traditional grocery store. Their self-branded chocolate milk is like drinking a melted milkshake (that's a good thing). All in all, we tend to come here for the ice cream because it's so delicious, but there is much more to Braum's.
