If I could give zero stars, I would. Since new ownership several years ago, this location has set a new bar for incompetence. It's nearly impossible to get an order made correctly. If it is, it's cold and you waited 20+ minutes for it...that's assuming they even take your order in the first place. Often times only 1-2 employees. Even to get a simple drink in under 15 minutes is a miracle! Don't even bother going inside, you'll just stand at the counter and watch the employee actively ignore you. read more

Service was awful! We waiting for about 10 minutes at the drive up menus to have our order taken. We decided to go to the drive thru and still sat there waiting for someone to take our order for at least another 5 or so minute. They are FAST FOOD! Stopped in at Sonic in Beatrice for a couple of burgers for lunch. By far Sonic has to be the most inconsistent franchise I have been too. It varies from store to store. This sonic left me with the feeling that I would never go back to this drive in again 11:30 we pull in. One car in the parking lot. We start by placing out order, when they asked for drinks, I asked my passenger what she wanted. Before quickly I got is there anything else, I responded " waiting for passenger to decide". Immediately, heard the order repeated and the total. Mind you, we were the only car in the drive in part and no one went thru the drive thru. Perhaps they are consistently slow and don't prepare anything in advance. Other Sonics, your in and out in less than 3 minutes. Over 10 minutes later, two burgers and onion rings showed up. Order was wrong. One fully loaded and the other one mustard only. We had asked for one of them to hold mustard. While the food at sonic is exactly what you would expect from a fast food restaurant, the real reason for the 5 star review is their customer service. Customer service weighs greatly on your experience no matter where you spend your money and it seems like the management at this location really seems to promote that. Every time you order the employees are very happy with bright greetings and clearly repeating your order to ensure they have it correct. In the rare instance their is a delay or they are out of something they are very apologetic and suggestive of substitutions and solutions and will try to make it right with you with a coupon. They hand out many coupons as well during events for kids and parades. The management seems to really promote positive attitudes and taking care of their customers and it shows in their employees. read more

Stopped for a cherry limeade while waiting for a friend to finish up some business elsewhere. Very fast service, polite server, great tasting drink! The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is that I received coupons in the mail 5-16-2015 and the "offer" expired 4-15-2015! Why bother sending these out when they are useless? This drive in first opened several years ago and failed due to poor customer service andpoor food preparation. It was reopened under new management a couple of years ago and it was much improved! Fast forward to 2014 and the crack are starting to show. Food quality has diminished and custermer service is sliping. For example, today we stopped in to get a cold drink on a hot day. We ordered a couple of route 44 cherry limeades. The waitres brought our drinks and we handed her a twenty. She stated the she left her change counter inside and had to go back in. No big deal. While we waited for her to return, we noticed the she had given us the wrong size of straws. They were too short for the cups. When she returned with our change, we inquired about getting longer straws. We were told they did not have any inside and she would have to go into storage to get more and they had orders to fill. With that, she walked off. Unreal. This is why this location closed in the first place. If this keeps up, this location will close again. Sad. read more

It used to be amazing, really did and now you wait 6 minutes for a mini shake, while you watch people from the drive throw messing around, running around and not taking or making any orders. While i was sitting there i saw a person, who i assume is an employee of the clock, running in and out of a food preparation area with her hair all crazy in a sweater covered in cat hair eating bits of food, and just standing there, no one said or did anything. Then i went again for shakes, all of them were runny, tasted like they had the malt mix in them and no other flavor, waste of money and when i called the store i was told that i was wrong by the manger and that they were made right. So against my better judgement i went one more time, for a bag of ice, i figured there's no way they could mess this up. WRONG, the bag was half full and i waited 15 minutes to order and another 10 before i got, FOR A BAG OF ICE! Needless to say, i wont go there anymore and i encourage everyone i know not to go there anymore either, and they dont, they have had equally bad experiences, seems like your turn out rate for staff is leaving you guys in a bad place, the owners should have never left. read more
