He is awesome with catering to each of our levels and keeps it interesting and fun. I basically lined up a week's worth of intro lessons with various teachers and when we got to James my daughter said she loved him and wanted me to cancel the rest of the intros and stay with James. His lessons are fun, informative, as well as laid back which is really nice in terms that he lets the lesson go where it needs to go in order to let things sink in. I think it's really important for my kids to have lessons like that so they don't get bored or uninterested. James is patient, kind, funny and an excellent teacher! We're all very happy with James and I highly recommend him to beginners as well as seasoned pianists. I've been playing piano for about 4 years now and I really wanted to start writing songs on the piano and James happily obliged, and it's really helping me to continue to read notes, and now start memorizing piano chords. Mrs. Sirarpi is absolutely amazing with kids she is both stern and kind at the same time.
