The order is dated June 13, 2022..It is now June 30 and no one is in the office. The owner went to Italy on vacation at the busiest time of year. When I spoke to him several days ago, he had no knowledge or interest in my situation. My deck is not usable on a sunny day without an awning. He was not interested in fulfilling his commitment. No one answers their phone. Therefore, I would never recommend them to anyone . Do not use this company. Very unreliable!

I was very impressed with Window World of Western MA from the very first contact. At no times did he try any high pressure sales tactics...such as...this price is only good for the next week as we're expecting a price increase...etc...etc. In the half hour he was there we talked about many things as I was very interested in getting to know the man. His passion about the product he was offering was obvious. We parted with him not getting the order as there was one more company I wanted to talk to. I decided to visit their showroom in Belchertown...I arrived unannounced and was promptly greeted by Grace...who happens to be Tim's daughter...a real family operation. Grace made a thorough and professional presentation of the window I was interested in. When I stumped her with a question...instead of BS'ing me she went and got the answer. On to the installation...Slav and his helper arrived on the earlier part of the 2 hour window I was given and immediately got to work. He and his helper...who I neglected to get a name for worked quickly and professionally. Within about 3 1/2 hours the job was completed. David and his family rescued me from a door disaster. After I bought the wrong doors that he…read moretried to install, he came back with a great solution and recommended his choice of doors and waved the installation fee of the bad door. When everything came in, he installed two doors plus replaced an overhead door with a solid, double door to the cellar. He was on time, finished ahead of schedule and his products are excellent. My father had received a quote for replacing a bay window from another company in town that he had hired before. That other company looked to take advantage of that and quoted my father a price of $10,000 to replace it. I got involved and looked for other options and was truly fortunate to find J&D Windows and Doors. First off, the price was a FRACTION of what the first company quoted, but more than that David really took in a genuine interest in discussing all the options with my father so that my father was comfortable knowing he was getting exactly what he wanted. The other company took a more cookie cutter approach and was more interested in seeing dollar signs than customer satisfaction.. Due to Covid, supply was interrupted so the new window couldn't be installed when initially scheduled. That had nothing to do with J&D but David still gave my father a discount due to the inconvenience. Completely unnecessary but most appreciated and just a classy move on his part. All told, the work to take out the old bay and put in the new took little more than a morning with a little finishing to be done the next day.
