Ansel was very honest about the condition of the piano after he opened it up. He showed me the different components, explained what they did, why they needed repair, and, in our case, why it might make more financial sense to not do the work we wanted to do with him -- our piano was basically in need of a full rebuild, and he didn't want us to spend money fixing things that weren't entirely worth it. All said, we did have him repair a few more obvious issues, and get the piano back in tune, just to give us something to work with in the interim. Super nice to work with, and I definitely recommend him to anyone in the area looking for piano tuning and repair!

A live pianist was on the program. For various reasons, we ended up securing the piano only days before the event. (It was disassembled, moved twice, and on the day of the event was reassembled at the venue). We knew we would need to have it tuned after the moves. We asked around through Yelp for tuners who could be available to meet us at the venue in a few days, just a couple hours before the event and get it tuned. It was a tight schedule because there was also sound check happening, but Ansel came right in, did the job well, and left, and we were able to start our event on time as planned! We are so grateful that he was available at such short notice and at a very good price. Thank you!

We have never had the space for our dream pianos, but Beverly was able to manipulate what we had to fool our ears and dreams still came true. She is a true craftsperson and the tuning is just the cherry on top of all the other elements of sound she develops. Even when played by professional pianists, there were positive comments about the tone, the presence, the overtones, the balance, and on and on. I can attest that this had less to do with the piano and so much more to do with the mastery of Beverly. Whatever your piano needs, we recommend Piano Craft and without hesitation.
