It's very clean and beautiful and the meals look great. The memory care manager does exercises on a blackboard and I have never seen anything like this done at a memory care before. She challenges the people with all these questions and interactions. I've watched a few times and I appreciated how she changes it up so everyone can participate and answer the questions. My dad was on the lower functioning side and I wish I knew about a place like this when we were looking for a place for him. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for somewhere to put a loved one with dementia. Top notch and very impressive brain work!

If you are looking for an Assisted Living / senior living facility for your loved one, please call Ken Rosenberg to set up a tour of the facility. I'm sure you'll be glad you did.

With dozens to choose from, in the specific area we were looking at, definitely made this process even more difficult. Allegro Senior Living was highly recommended to us and when we visited the facility it certainly did not disappoint. We had the privilege of meeting Mary Adams at Allegro who spent a tremendous amount of time with us. We toured the facility, spoke to staff and shared our story. We asked dozens of questions and shared our concerns. Mary was warm, knowledgeable and so transparent about expectations for a loved ones transition to a senior living facility. After visiting many other communities and reviewing our choices, we immediately knew that Allegro Senior Living would be the perfect living arrangement for our mom. The facility is immaculate, nicely appointed, has lovely grounds, is intimate in size and has an abundance of amenities and activities for those that choose to participate. The residents and staff are kind and welcoming. Our mother has been in Allegro for a month and the community has certainly continued to please us. She loves her apartment and raves about the dining selections and quality of the food. The administration, with Erica Cohen at its helm, Angela, head of nursing services and Mary Adams, are all very accessible when we have had questions or concerns. The entire staff has been so helpful to assist in acclimating our mother to her new living arrangement and has made us all feel at ease. Our mother is happy! If you and your family members are looking for a beautiful facility for your loved one, please take time to visit Allegro in Boynton Beach. Though not the newest facility we visited, Allegro Senior Living is definitely the best in the area if you are looking for a wonderful caring community for your loved one.

The receptionist seemed nice, bit unprofessional to have blanket covering you at work but... she let me in no problem and was nice. But here's where it gets bad, Came now in the beginning March and EVERYTHING CHANGED FOR THE WORSE!!!!!! The walls are poorly painted white, paint on the carpets, no decorations for Easter, 4 staff members in the whole building, and ONE NURSE to care for over 50+ rooms ? With 2 patients in each room? Tried to get my father's meds, called the phone 3 times, gave up and went to look for assistance. I finally found the nurse in the opposite side of the nursing home-- she told me "she's the only nurse in and my father will have to wait for over an hour." She gave me what she could of his over the counter medication and sent me on my way. Also unfortunately this nursing home doesn't close/ crack the patient's-- an elderly lady was indecent in the room diagonal to my father- so when I opened his door to leave I saw this woman breast exposed- the nurse who was assisting her left it completely WIDE open and walked out the door-- I closed it for her privacy. I'm completely in shock and horror. Imagine you or your family member..... This nursing home use to have a lot of love in the building I'm very disappointed and ashamed of what this facility came to.

Because of some skin wounds, the process of moving her back to the memory care facility was very complex. Thats when the Discharge Coordinator Ginger saved the day by coordinating the complex interactions of the: wound doctor, Medicare, and the memory care facility. She was very kind, diligent, and clever through it all. I am so glad that Isles Nursing has such fine employees. It is a great operation!

The director of nursing texted that she would get maintenance. Never came. The director only came because the nurse was upset about my mom's 3 meds and supplements. The nurse clearly didn't know the rules..He told us we couldn't bring her supplements. Not true. No one welcomed us. No aide came to help. I had to find one and she tried to put my mom to bed with feces smeared on her. When I told the nurse we were leaving and taking my mom, only then did he start to perform her assessment. The aide was down right nasty and lacked any kind of sensitivity or hygiene training. She left feces smeared on the toilet and wiped my mom with a dry bath towel and placed it back on rack for hand drying. We provided wet wipes, paper towel, perineal cleanser, and soap. Yet the aide did that while yelling at us. So bizarre. We packed up and left. Do not leave a loved one there. What an appallingly bad experience and waste of five hours. Thank god we didn't leave the check. Five thousand dollars for a two-week nightmare was avoided. There were so many red flags and worrisome interactions that I didn't even touch on here, to be brief. I agree with the other bad reviews here that are hidden. Lack of staff and lack of caring and experienced staff is not where you want to leave a loved one. No matter how luxurious a place seems. There are better options. Cannot recommend. Director of Nursing, you never came to greet us. Only after your inexperienced nurse pitched a fit about meds, hours after we arrived. You said you would call maintenance. Never did. And I heard you on the phone as we were leaving. What a dismal operation you're running. Thanks for wasting our time and adding insult to injury.
