Brenda at Somewhere Now is amazing always. I wanted to go to Grand Cayman in the Caribbean and she informed me that there is a new direct flight from L.A. to Grand Cayman. My flight was 4 hours and 45 minutes - that was faster then flying to Hawaii! She also booked a car for me, driving on the opposite side of the road was an experience, glad she talked me into getting an automatic. She also told me I should do a night snorkel at the bioluminescence bay while I was there. I changed my travel dates so I would be there as close to the new moon as possible on her recommendation, it was so worth it. As with all her itineraries, she gave me restaurant recommendations, local foods I should try, sights I should see, the best beach snorkel spots, etc. She sent me a bound itinerary with all the reservation numbers so everything was at my fingertips, plus it's a great memory keepsake. She uses an app called Trip Plans that also contained my itinerary, it made seeing what I was doing day to day so much easier. I can't recommend her enough. read more

I'll never plan a trip without a travel advisor! Somewhere Now was awesome. I was in charge of planning a group cruise for my Aunts 80th birthday. It was complicated to say the least. I am not a frequent traveler, in fact, my last vacation was a cruise 6 years ago. I rarely write reviews but when I do it's either because it was horrible or beyond amazing... this is the latter. I never thought of using a travel agent, I have always planned my trips myself. I got 45 countries and 6 continents under my belt. I met Brenda a year ago and her passion for travel was one of the first things that made me love her. I was in the middle of planning an excursion in the Sahara desert and for the first time ever (Because my mom suggested it) I reached out to an agency and was getting no help from them. I received Brenda's letter on the mail about her new venture a week after I was waiting for that agencies response and I emailed her right away, the next day she had an entire schedule for me, that not only was amazing but affordable and detailed. The plus to all of this was that she had already been to Morocco and had actual recommendations for me. I am still waiting to hear from the other agency (Sears travel)...I guess I shouldn't expect much from that haha. Anyway, I booked with Brenda right away and I am packing my bags.
