Beginning with my bridal shower invitations, three years later they have just made my baby shower invitations. Even though I live in Riverdale, I was able to go in twice to meet with them and brainstorm ideas for the wedding and complete the process through email and phone calls. In our face-to-face meeting at the store they took the time to understand my vision for the wedding and my style. They are so much more than an invitation business. They were involved in my wedding from the save the date, invite and thank you notes to the table cards, table number decoration, and programs. One of my favorite wedding touches was that they were able to replicate a photograph I had of my grandparents having an intimate moment at their wedding with a "reserved" sign. This wonderful business is run by two sisters (Judy and Ann) who create custom, handmade invitations and stationery. I truly couldn't have been happier with my experience here! From the moment you step in the door you'll be struck by their warmth and passion. My husband and I came here for wedding invitations, and they made the entire process SO fun and creative! Not only did they understand our vision, but they made awesome suggestions along the way. We never felt rushed (on the contrary, we were amazed at the personal attention we received). It took me a long time and a lot of research trying to find the right invitation company. When I found Someday Designs, I was happy to see that they had won many awards. After meeting with them and seeing some of their work first hand, I could tell why their product was not only of great quality, but also of exceptional design. Thanks to Judy and Ann. My daughter loves roses and the color aqua for her fiancé. We decided on Aqua ball jars. Judy painted a very sweet pic of a ball jar with pink roses for the invite. We used them for our wedding invitations and our wedding program. Judy and Ann (the owners) worked tirelessly to get us exactly what we wanted in a price range we could afford. They will give you lots of options to work with. My wife and I are somewhat indecisive and very particular and they made these specifically and exactly how we wanted them. Literally almost every one of our guests commented on how beautiful they were. They stand out above and beyond any other invitation I have ever received for friends wedding and they are so "us". If you go with a generic store, you will get a generic invitation. Judy and Ann work hard to make your invitation amazing, special, and unique to your wedding. They also made an awesome "belly band" to hold all the parts (response card, envelope, information card) of the invitation together. I have gone to Ann and Judy at Someday Designs in Syosset for bridal and baby shower invitations as well as wedding invitations since 2010. I wouldn't go anywhere else! They give their complete attention to every job and every detail. They are not satisfied until you are completely happy with everything. They are easy to work with and have so many creative exquisite ideas about how to present an invitation. For example my first daughter who was expecting knew she was having a boy. They designed the most adorable blue invitation. My second daughter and her husband elected not to know the sex of the baby. Judy and Ann wanted to know what she liked and I told them a few things including that she always liked stars. They came up with the idea of "Twinkle twinkle little star how we wonder what you are" and incorporated that into the invitation and the foil lining in the envelope. It was gorgeous!! Everyone who RSVP commented that this was the nicest shower invitation they had ever seen. The wedding invitations were also fabulous! I also ordered save the date notices, programs, menus and place cards for the weddings. Everything was perfect and exceptional! Ann and Judy of someday designs are amazing. They did our entire wedding invitation suite as well as all our day of stationary. When it came time to sit down and design my invitations they were there for every step of the way with their super creative ideas and their very patient attitudes. I wanted very elaborate, but not tacky invitations that would completely wow my guests and man did we succeed!! Everyone was so blown away, my guests were saying they didn't even want to throw out the envelopes because even those were so perfectly designed. Then as if I wasn't pleased enough our invitations made it into the National Stationary show in NYC and were on display at the Javits center - that is how beautiful they were. It was such a pleasure working with them as well, from the beginning to the end. I never felt pressured and they always were there to cater to all my over the top ideas. Day of stationary was so elegant and perfect also. Most stationers won't go the extra mile for you but these ladies do, they make sure everything is perfect or they re-do it.
