One bike completely fell apart during the ride. Half of our group had to walk the last 2+ miles of the ride. Instead of apologizing and reimbursing us for the faulty bike, we were told that it was a new bike and out of their kindness, they wouldn't charge us to repair it. In addition, when we arrived at 9am there was only one employee working and several groups ahead of us. We had to wait 30-40 minutes to get our bikes. With the late start and having to walk 2+ miles, we were late for the Mt. Vernon tour and our time there was rushed - we barely made it to the water taxi. Not sure what more I could add. It was a horrible experience. Not recommended - unreliable bikes, poor service.

Everyone that worked at the establishment was helpful and attempted to ensure that your bikes were well matched to the person's height and riding style. Be careful on this tour this is only a guide in the front and the rear of the group. If you have a slow or timid rider this may not be the tour for them. One of the people in our group fell after hitting a fellow bicyclist. The trail is really packed this time of year and may not be suited for inexperienced individuals. Although I really enjoyed the tour, I wish they spent a little more time going into the history of the cherry blossom's in DC. But alas, nothing in life is perfect.

Per their web page the weekly rental was listed as $350. The reservation and delivery address was done over the phone. The mat was delivered on time. There were no issues with the rental until I noticed that my charge card was charged $500. Upon questioning why the price was $500. They told me that the web page was in error, the price had increased, and the web page was being updated. (Yes my error, I never confirmed with them that the price was as documented in their webpage) It is now almost 3 months later and their webpage still indicates a price of $350 for a week rental of a 6x12 mat. If you must do business with them be careful of getting the price in writing before agreeing to anything.

She even waived a fee since I paid cash. When I came back two days later to rent them again, they already had most of my info, I just needed to rescan my license and pay up and it was smooth sailing. A third day would have put me over the weekly rate ($25), and she said I could just pay the $5 since I had already rented two days. Nice, some other place might have penalized me for that, but these folks are just trying to make the equipment rental process really easy. Even returning the boards I just handed them back and told them my name, no need to sign anything. While I only got boogie boards, they also have surf boards, paddle boards, kayaks, and so many bicycles. Their website has the full list of prices and offerings. We were able to see an eagle, ponies and plenty of birds. It's about 2 hrs and great way to see nature up close. We're planning on using them again when we come back. Would recommend!
