The teachers are caring, competent, diligent and keep their students to the highest standards. They are trained educators who make sure each student is reaching their potential. I am an elementary school teacher myself, so I know how hard it is to keep little kids focused for over an hour after their school day. Both my sons look forward to going to their French class each week. I am amazed at the progress they have made in in French in such a short time. Neither my husband nor I speak French but we have been catching on slowly and we even help our kids with their weekly homework. I highly recommend EFSac for quality classes that are engaging and stimulating.

Wow! Super surprised there isn't a review yet!…read more School looks really nice. Well kept, yet limited parking. Interaction with the staff has been pleasant so far. The kiddo started Kindergarten today. Registration process went smooth. I heard the school was impacted, so some kids were getting sent via bus to other schools. Library looks awesome! Lots of books. We had to go there for some ESL testing. I guess they are required to test when there is more than one language spoken at home. Little did they know the 5 year old was fluent in sarcasm, too! Haha!! Me the kiddo's Kindergarten teacher. He was put into a 10:25am-1:46pm class. Note--they aren't given a school lunch in Kinder, but do get a 30 minute recess where they can eat snacks brought from home. It sounds like they look for a lot of volunteer work and donations. $40 donation for classroom supplies and cheetah bags for each student--which makes sense if they are trying to be fair and equal. My son goes by his middle name, and they are attempting to make him use his first name (long story). Thinking there might be an issue that comes up when he doesnt respond to his first name O_o...gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. Cheers! Looking forward to an awesome year.

My children…read moreabsolutely love it there -- in fact, at pick-up time they often ask to stay longer, and then ask when they'll be going back again! That alone speaks volumes about the caring and engaging environment the school creates. The teachers are approachable, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. We've had the pleasure of working with Ms. Andy, Ms. Emma, Ms. Maria, and Ms. Tosha, and they have all been wonderful. My daughter has truly enjoyed being in their classes and has always felt supported and encouraged. My son was in Mr. Calvin's class this year, and he especially enjoyed working with Legos and learning how to use new robotic toys. It's clear that Mr. Calvin cares deeply about his students and creates a fun, hands-on learning environment that keeps the children excited about learning. We are so grateful for the positive experiences our children have had at Knowledge Tree Children's Academy and highly recommend it to other families.

Knowledge tree has been the perfect fit for our family! We relocated to the area and lucked out…read morethat they had availability for both our boys on the days we needed and were also able to accommodate my swing schedule which made life even easier! Our youngest had no experience with attending school and has adjusted very well and I think that is partly because of one of his awesome Teachers Teacher Jordan. He has a speech delay and she is so passionate about helping him thrive and takes the time to learn from others speech therapists to better help kiddos like mine. His other teachers are just as amazing and celebrate him learning a new word and making sure I hear the amazing progress (it was a huge concern of mine sending him with a speech delay). Our eldest had been attending preschool for a few weeks already where we lived previously so I was less concerned about his adjustment but I was concerned about him napping as that is a requirement and at his old school he would skip naps, that concern was quickly relieved when his teachers told me he was actually napping and one of the first to fall asleep. He is especially fond of one of his teachers Miss Lily and I am too. We both work which is why they go to school which means when they have field trips we can't take them and recently they went on one and Miss Lily drove some of the kids including ours which I was incredibly nervous about since we had never had anyone else drive our children. Miss Lily made sure we knew where they were, was understanding of our concerns and assured us he was in good hands which he absolutely was. He loves miss Lily so much he wants to invite her to his birthday party. Overall, we have had a great experience so far. It was rough the first few weeks attending as we were getting hit with illness after illness but I think that was more to do with our youngest never being in a school environment before and putting everything in his mouth catching every bug possible but that's how that goes anywhere. We hope to be able to send our kids here as long as possible!

Marci has been a lifesaver for my son! We are lifelong homeschoolers and my high school son had…read morebeen struggling for years with reading and writing. As part of a charter, we had tried various programs and several tutors, all with very little results. Luckily, I found her name on a list of vendors with our charter school over the summer and we met with her to have my son diagnosed with dyslexia and made a plan to start working together in the fall. Everything changed when my son started working with Marci. She started from the ground up, taught him to read the way that worked for him, filled in every hole in his reading education and gave me constant advice on how to work with him on writing. This is a strict program that you can't do halfway, but it WORKS. Further, she gave us guidance on getting my son tested for special ed, and supported us during a stressful IEP meeting. If you are serious about helping your dyslexic child, you cannot go wrong with Marci. My son loves her, comes out of appointments smiling and has a new confidence.
