It was my first time at Bloom, and from the moment I walked in, I felt instantly relaxed. The…read moreinviting decor and, most importantly, the cleanliness truly set the tone for a luxury spa experience. Piper at the front desk and Lauren, my massage therapist, were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lauren mentioned she had over 17 years of experience and it showed. Her technique was impeccable, and my 60-minute massage (with hot stones, highly recommend!) was amazing. I also loved the sauna. It didn't feel cramped, and the cold foot bath paired with the variety of essential oils for the hot rocks made it even more special. If you're looking for a true luxury spa experience, go to Bloom. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Cassandra and Mike!

Bloom Wellness is a great day spa for unwinding in the chaos of the everyday…read more I visited recently after getting a gift card, and I'm glad I got a chance to check the place out. The setting is very calm despite being at a busy corner of West Stadium. There were a few other people in the spa at the same time, but not so many that it felt intrusive or crowded. My experience started with a massage. It was relaxing but not up there with the best massages I've gotten around town. Next came the infrared sauna, which was probably my favorite part. With relaxing music and heat all around, I was able to zone out and enjoy myself. The float pool was next. I liked the waterproof headphones to listen to zen music as I floated, but the air temperature kept the parts of my body that were above water pretty chilly. I ended up cutting that part short as a result. Overall it was a good experience. I wish their parking were better marked (I parked in a lot to the left of the building as you're looking at it from the front). I also felt like the scheduling process was a little informal and unprofessional. I called and instead of returning my call, I got a text message back with informal grammar "Texting u from Bloom wellness" - it came off as sloppy.

I want to preface this by saying I usually don't get professional massages and I've only been here…read moreonce. But my experience was amazing and I loved every minute of it! I walked into a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Once you exit the lobby area and go to the back, the lights are dim. The changing area was clean, there was a locker to put my personal belongs in, and the robe and sandals were super comfy. There was a shower and a toilet and a waiting area outside the restroom with an electric fireplace on the wall. The massage itself was super relaxing and enjoyable. The woman who did my massage spoke softly asking me what areas I'd like her to focus on and what would be included in my massage. She gave me clear direction and privacy. She was firm, and worked out a knot in my shoulder and did a full body massage. There was calming music playing softly. At the end, they gave me a cup of tea to drink while I changed. I was not rushed in the beginning or the end. I would absolutely love to come here again one day for another massage. The main thing that stops me from getting massages on a more regular basis is the cost!

I was escorted to the women's locker room and I was asked if I would like to take a shower before starting my massage session. I took my hot shower and used their toiletries (body wash, shampoo and conditioner) plus their velvety brown robe plus their black sandals. My masseuse was Eddie and he played my ocean wave music and used the white ginger lotion that I picked for my massage. Eddie was very professional and I enjoyed his 60 minutes deep tissue massage . After the massage session was over I was offered with more ginger peach hot tea and I met him at the front desk. I definitely recommend anyone to come over here to pamper themselves.

Even with all these glowing reviews for Kyisha I am glad I was scheduled with him. As most know on here I have had really horrible experiences with Groupon but I have to tell you this was the best Groupon find I have ever had, it's almost enough to make me buy another Groupon. I would if it were to here. First off, Robert is such a lovely spirit. He is just super sweet and has a way about him that makes you uber comfortable despite the fact he looks like a Lions linebacker. I got there way too early and he took it in stride, giving me the necessary form and asking if I wanted to start ahead of time. Oh heck yeah. I sent my husband off with a backwards wave. Folks I'm almost hesitant to tell you about Robert in depth. I have a history of sharing on Yelp and losing quality massage therapists. I'm being realllly nice here, I will probably regret it. Robert is awesome. Amazing. I feel incredible. Never has my husband ever commented on how relaxed my muscles are after a massage. I honestly don't think anyone has ever made them this relaxed. Seriously. His massage was a total eye opener and kind of blew my mind. Robert has a real issue with knots. Apparently I'm full of them, even ones I did not know I had. The man was on a mission to eradicate them. At first I was like whoa. I wasn't sold. This was a massage like I have never had. He was thorough. He was convincing. Best part? When I started to feel the results I was one happy camper. This is no fingertip half assed *spa* massage. This was complete body therapy. My limbs were stretched and turned. My back and neck were explored and then manipulated into giving up the extreme tension they carry. I think so often in massage if you are overweight they just give up on you a bit. Robert found all the trouble spots, contorting me to make sure he got the right access to eradicate the baddies. My short, fat neck? Not an issue. I was shocked to understand what exactly can be done to that area. Small changes of position and he took care of my most problematic sufferings. Most therapists either don't know or don't care how best to get the job done apparently. I've had hot stone massage before, here you get hot stones added in as a tool to make the release easier but it is part of a more comprehensive purpose. Robert uses all the tools in his arsenal to get the job done. I love that! Yes you will be sore after the treatment, drink as much water as possible. I can be a wuss about that, I confess. Bottom line though? You will realize how much real pain you were in before the massage and how quickly it returned to you after some of your other *massages*. This is sweet pain, healing pain, necessary. Worth it. This is what it takes to have real results that last. This is what happens when someone actually tries to heal you, not throw a bandaid on your problems but who truly works to fix the real issue. After my massage I got a choice of cold or room temp water and helpful advice. Robert showed me stretches, gave me good ideas about how to prevent some of the worst knots and even gave me a chance to give feedback to him as well. So professional but really I just felt truly cared about. He really listened to my words and my body and wanted nothing more than to help me heal, not just relax or indulge but to be healthier. Not in a judgy you need to lose weight/work out/stop being a type A control freak but in a genuine hey you can help yourself out just the way you are now way. I could have hugged the man. I am broke as heck at the moment and I am still planning my next visit, it is worth the money. Really it's a great bargain when you compare. I have to go. It was sweet blessed relief born from true knowledge of human anatomy and I also got warm fuzzies from someone who made me feel so comfortable and nutured as he healed me. Not a bad deal at all.
