Their work goes beyond just incredible technique and far into integrated healing of body, mind, and heart. The space itself emits calming and grounding energy and offers welcome to everyone regardless of where they are at physically or emotionally. I have a condition called copper toxicity that makes my body go out of wack in a lot of ways (pain, digestion, inflammation, sleep, acne, etc). My health improved rapidly with their help. Corinne (Acupucture)- Delightful, helpful energy radiates through her. I looked forward each time I was going to go to her. It really helped reduce my inflammation and pain. She always utilized techniques that would help what I was feeling that week. Dr. Leslie (Chiro)- She always got right to it with treatment and treatment advice. I learned a lot from going. It seemed to aid my detox a lot to go. I felt a release several times and felt better after. She found pain points I needed to focus on which helped a lot as well. Dr. Pera (Naturopath)- She caught my deficiency's with a vitamin blood panel, helped me regulate my body over time and suggested only what would help for supplements. Front desk is also kind and efficient as well. As for covid safety, they are extremely cautious and took my temp each time I came in with a mask policy and a paper to fill out of symptoms. It made me feel like I was in good hands and I was. After going weekly since May, I never got covid. Prema played crucial part in my recovery like angels they aided my healing. Highly recommend!

I would heartily recommend her to anyone seeking chiropractic care.

While I absolutely love the staff at Pure Life, Dr Pelley, Savannah, Sam and Dr Kenyon, I am…read moreterribly disappointed by the changes the owners recently made to their services. They have opted to remove the doors to the treatment rooms in order to speed up treatments and move more bodies through the clinic. This takes away any privacy patients once had to discuss personal medical information during their intake. It also takes away a sense of safety for their treatment. A nervous system cannot move into a healing state when it feels like it needs to be on guard in a room with no door. When I reached out to the owner about my concerns I was told that "change is hard" and that "anyone who has experienced trauma will be referred to a therapist that can help them with that." The problem is that we have all experienced trauma and continue to on a regular basis. And receiving bodywork like chiropractic is something that should be done in an environment that feels safe to the body and nervous system. Everything about these changes is saying profit over people and it has left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I no longer feel comfortable recommending the clinic to my friends and community. I will continue to go see Dr. P and team for now because I am still hoping the owners will see what a huge misstep this is and will choose to listen to the feedback from their patients. I also opted to write the yelp review because I have sent multiple emails trying to explain why this choose is so incongruent with true healthcare and every single time I was told that the changes are there to provide better care for their patients. I would love to see the staff happy again and receive care in a safe environment.

To be clear, this review is about the MANAGEMENT (Looking at you Dr. Melanie!), not the staff. The…read moremanagement has decided to take the clinic in an uncomfortable at best, and harmful/HIPAA violating, at worst direction by REMOVING THE DOORS from the chiropractic rooms. The only explanation that has been given? Efficiency. When I hear efficiency, I understand that profits are being prioritized over people. And if the LACK of privacy and BLATANT DISREGARD for trauma-informed care were not enough, management has decided not to tell patients when their preferred provider is out (that's not how INFORMED CONSENT works). I had an appointment scheduled with the life-changing Dr. Pelley (love). I was in a room without a door, facedown, with electro-stim on my back, in traction when I discovered that Dr. Pelley was out and that I was expected to see Dr. Melanie WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I only discovered this because I couldn't hear Dr. Pelley's voice (you can hear EVERYONE'S voice when you DON'T HAVE DOORS) and asked a staff member about it. They said that it is no longer clinic practice to inform patients about provider absences, and that patients are now expected to see whoever is available. That's not how trust works. That's not how consent works. How can I trust someone with my healthcare and wellbeing when I can't trust them to understand the importance of doors in a healthcare setting? I left without seeing her. The staff are not happy. The patients are not happy. Make it make sense, Dr. Melanie.

Plus, their masseuses are actually on staff which is better for them AND means that my insurance covered monthly massages! THEN I found out there is also a massage therapist there, so I started getting that too! I love that it is women owned and ran, too! The front staff lady is super nice and accommodating. She was very good at communicating in general. When she said she was going to do something to follow up, she actually did it, and it a reasonable amount of time, too! Jenna is very knowledgeable and genuine. She has great bed-side manner that is pretty chill and informal, which I really liked. I made such great progress with her. She was very sensitive to my needs, as pelvic bowl work is very intimate. She is amazing. Her adjustments made me feel better than most chiro's I have seen in the past, too! Leah, the massage therapist is a gem. She was born for that job. She helped me in so many ways. I had a miscarriage a day or two before I saw her and she gave me the most perfect, emotionally healing massage that honestly quickened my grief process significantly. My "normal" massages were great, too. She has a more gentle approach, (well she did with me), but was still able to work out the areas that needed it. When I moved, she even reached out to MT's in my area to help me find one who has a similar style as her, and got back to me about it, again, within a reasonable amount of time! I couldn't recommend this place more. They are all amazing and great at what they do.

Having been an LMT myself, I know that doing other than Swedish is a lot of work, much more than giving a nice, relaxing Swedish massage. She knew the use of thumb and elbow, and was able to work the deep muscles that Swedish massage misses. By the time Leah was done with me, my endorphins were kickin' and I was standing about 6" above the ground, ROFLMAO!! Seriously, I felt grand!! I HIGHLY recommend Ms. Leah Kanach, LMT, and am positive you will find receiving a massage (she does more than deep-tissue massage) from her will give you a fresh outlook. She's really great! I plan on re-working my budget so that I can afford at least one massage per month from Leah. She rocks!
