Not a big deal and not even time consuming. The disappointing issue was after 3 years of returned visits to Dr. Miller, the only advise he had for me was "let's put a different bandage on it (literally and figuratively) and watch it" and purchase a wider shoe." Seriously? My toe is sending shooting pain across my foot and up my ankle. Apparently speaking louder to me will make me believe the pain in the toe is not the issue. Very unproductive visit, so after 3 years of co-pays I am seeking a 2nd opinion elsewhere.

But I got ahold of Edward, who was at a location further from my home, and then Kristen. Both were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. This past year I had an extremely negative experience when I needed an infusion and ended up with an unexpected bill. Kristen and Premier were very sensitive to this and put up with a grumpy old man. I felt as though they went way above and beyond to assist me through this process. They reached out to my doctors office and corrordinated with the staff there to assist me. When I was reaching out to other centers some of them made the comment "we don't do stand alone iron infusions, there's just not enough money in it for us..." At Premiere I never felt like it was about the $$ or a profit, I felt valued and that their biggest concern was my health, getting the treatment I needed and addressing my insurance and financial concerns. Kristin made me feel valued, genuinely concerned and empathetic. When I arrived at the center I was warmly treated and it was a very comforting pleasant atmosphere. I was made to feel like a VIP, as if I were their only patient. Nice amenities and genuine greetings and inquiries about how I was feeling. I had two extremely friendly and attentive nurses who throughly explained everything they were going to do prior to proceeding. I witnessed RBTs having to practice outside of their scope due to lack of leadership. This company is so termination hungry that they fired their only BCBA at this location without any proper trade off of case load to the bcba that was "helping out." When the helper BCBA came there was lack of leadership and knowledge in terms of the caseload she's taking on. There excuse was that she was just subbing in however this completely disregarding the dangers this could put the RBTs and Clients in when not properly handling behaviors. I was hired on as a student and was assigned under this helper BCBA and after my employment there, it took numerous of emails just to get my hours signed off by her due to lack of communication. Through out the clinic there are cameras where they can watch you via their cell phones. It was also told to me by VARIOUS of people that these cameras have audio. Which is illegal in Illinois. When addressing these ethical concerns with HR the CEO replied back that quote "We use an outside vendor to install our CCTV equipment, and if there were any audio recordings, that was a mistake".... not apologizing for the envision of privacy nor the ethical concerns. Also when bringing up the rest of the ethics codes that were being violated he had then responded he will address them if "he chooses to do so." And lastly instead of taking my ethical concerns seriously he said "The staff in that center all have stellar work histories. I've known three of them for seven years and there is not a blemish on anyone's work history. They all have far more experience than you seem to have." I've been a RBT for 5 + years and hold a masters degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I take ABA ethics very seriously, and this company consistently failed to uphold them. I cannot recommend this workplace to anyone seeking a professional, ethical, and safe environment for clients or staff.
