I've never been able to find one that is my actual size in any clothing stores and instead had been doing my best to compromise. This has unfortunately always resulted in back pain and a lot of wasted money and time. This was my first fitting ever and everything was so easy! No more back pain from my bra! I cannot believe it! -The ladies there were so nice and I learned a lot! -There was no pressure in the try on process, though I was the only customer in the store at the time. -They only had the perfect bra for me in one color for my size, but guess what? You can order directly from them and they ship it to you for FREE! -The shipping was also surprisingly fast! -The prices were great for specialty bras, at least for my type. Their prices are super competitive to other online retailers, especially considering that with Judy's you get free shipping. If you have struggled to find a bra that actually fits, I recommend you give it a try! Just keep in mind that right now all customers MUST book an appointment beforehand. There are no walk-ins.

In order to go to Judy's, you must first make an appointment. They are only open until 6:00 M-F making it pretty difficult to fit in to a working schedule. The location is also in a more sketchy neighborhood of Tacoma, requiring you to ring a doorbell and be buzzed in to the store. Once in the store, they seemed pretty insistent to see pictures of the dress instead of listening to what I wanted. I know they meant the best, but it was really controlling. If I felt I should be in control of what bra I wanted and could take that responsibility. They do cater to a wide variety of sizes but for the narrow range I needed, would have to special order and asked me to come back in a week or so. In order to cater to a wider range of sizes, they walk you through the process and pick out bras for you. I assume because they don't have every bra in the right size for all clients - it avoids someone wanting a specific bra and needing it ordered. While it would take a lot of space that they don't have to make it possible, it really underscored why retail is dying. It would be difficult to have the right stock in extended sizes. For the drive, issues with scheduling, and lack of product availability, I wouldn't go back. I was hoping it'd be worth it with Nordstrom level customer service and aesthetic, but alas - no. Mrs. Billy D wanted a hoody too mostly because she is a Washington native and it's in her rain soaked DNA. They offer a free design they transfer onto whatever clothing you buy. I found some tie dyed sweat pants with the elastic cuffs and she got herself that hoody and opted for the transfer. I forwent the transfer because I thought having "juicy" emblazoned across my backside might not be the best thing for a straight white male. The gentleman manning the press was nice. He had a good sense of humor. I could tell he deals with picky tourists all day. He's a better man than I am. I wouldn't last 10 minutes doing what he does. The store is quite large and takes up most of a small shopping strip so there is a very large selection of tourist clothing and chotchkies to peruse.

The workers are alright, not the friendliest, and you really have to engage with them as they are not proactive about being helpful (I had to ask her to help with sizes). The decor is great, reminds me of Mr.Rags, a store from the '90s. They sell plenty of stickers and surf-wear, Vans, backpacks, and clothes that I wore in the 80s and 90s (as it's all coming back)! The fanny packs on display made me laugh as I didn't realize they are in fashion! The sizing for clothes here is ok and selection or variety is alright, but their prices are steeper than other stores and if I'm the only customer in the store, I don't want to be ignored: pick out an outfit and help, as I'm obviously not hip enough and my teen could use a professional shopping helper!
