We were supposed to have a follow up meeting end of July as well. I revised my resume after our first zoom meeting and sent it back to her that day. I followed up with her several other times in July and August and literally never heard back from her. Not through email, not through phone call. I called the agency and they said that I could not be assigned to a new recruiter and that they would leave a message for Jessica who was out of town and I as well left a message for her. I was warned before I even started about a co-worker who was very difficult to work with. I found this to be true after only a few days in the role. I was yelled at and spoken down to by the co-worker and, as appropriate, I notified my manager on-site. I had to inform her of a few different instances that made for a hostile work environment and as a result, the company retaliated. Not only was I terminated for invalid reasons, my reporting of problems and lies told by the co-worker that's so difficult, I wasn't even given a chance to speak on the allegation that I acted unprofessionally. The claim was made after I facilitated a presentation on a topic approved by my on-site manager, Holly Goulding, which she told me I did a good job with afterward. Rather than ask what happened, Shelby was very accusatory and incredibly rude, demonstrating no concern for the truth or behaving in an ethical manner. Furthermore, the company lied to unemployment, but of course, could not support their claims, so I have been granted access to the resource.
