There's a bunch of interesting biking gear, mid-to-high end bicycles, bike rentals, and apparently cross country ski gear and rentals during the winter months. After passing the big (nay, huge!) "wolf" swing set outside several times on our way to-from our B&B, we felt we had to stop by to check it out. The staff was very helpful and informative, although it was a surprisingly slow Labor Day. There is also a nascent brewery opening in the same building (Adventure Brewing), but they were not yet pouring their first batches (although they should be by now). We took advantage of the short walking paths through the fields, which apparently turn into X-C ski trails once the snow piles up. We were so impressed with Bayfield and its typical annual snowfall that we are planning to return in the winter for a weekend of skiing!

The bike shop itself is super cool with lots of retail options if you're looking for bike parts or accessories. Staff members were super helpful to get my boyfriend and I size for a couple of bikes to Tooele round town. They were also very knowledgeable about bike paths in the area and direct us to a quick and easy path to downtown Bayfield. My bike kinda broke mid ride (seat) but the bf traded me so I was good lol. Definitely worth checking out! They also referred us to another shop for sea kayaking Superior so we thought that was cool to support local business!

I had a special request for strap extensions for my Stowaway Seat Pack, and Sidni went above and beyond to make it happen. She was prompt, attentive, and had the extensions custom made exactly to my specifications--all at a very reasonable cost. What really stood out was how thoroughly Sidni managed the whole process. She followed up as soon as my order was complete, providing a detailed summary and tracking information, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. And of course, the Stowaway Seat Pack itself is fantastic. I absolutely love it--superb design and excellent quality. Granite Gear has earned a loyal customer, and I can't recommend them enough!
