Would not recommend. We worked with Solomon to pour our home slab and retaining wall. We agreed on a price after providing engineered drawings with the expectation that payment would be made when the full job was complete. Almost every time we spoke to the owner he commented on how much "More work" they were doing than what they expected and how much more it was costing them. Eventually this lead to demanding a partial payment before pouring the wall. When we pushed back he threatened to back out on our job. He also tried to raise the price he wanted paid half way through. We agreed to pay him portion of the job. After we paid him a lot of money he never returned to the job site. He dragged us along for almost a month before telling us he was not going to finish our job. Now we're forced to find someone else to finish the slab. Based on how much we paid him for unfinished work we're expecting to be out $15,000 - $25,000 to have someone else finish the job.
Overall, The owner and his brother are difficult to deal with and don't communicate well, they have poor memory of what they say and agree to and don't write things down in any real contract format. They regularly argue with their customers about the details of the work. They do not do a good job following engineered plans and in many cases the owners are not even on the job site for much of the work being completed. Most concerning, they had no issues with taking our money and not finishing the job they promised to do. read more
