Showed up on time, took everything I requested (and then some), and even cleaned up afterwards. Very fair and transparent pricing. We needed to do another major clean out this year, and of course we called Joe and his team, this time to rent a container. Once again, everything was smooth sailing, and once again, Joe went above and beyond -- even doing some minor emergency landscaping to make sure the container did not damage our property. Great and quick communication, fair pricing, and so easy to work with -- I wish cleaning out our stuff had been half as easy! We've got more to do later this year, and we'll 100% be working with Joe and his team again. Highly, highly recommend!

In the past week, I have used these guys twice…read more I initially needed to find a company that could haul away trash from a 5 story townhouse on the Upper East Side. Lots of miscellaneous things, including multiple mattresses, heavy wooden tables, couches, etc. I needed a professional and affordable company that could show up the next day. This wasn't my home, this was an asset that I manage for work. It was imperative for me to get this done right because I had people to answer to. Not all of the furniture fit thru the doors, so these guys had to take a lot of it apart. They worked quickly, were super friendly, and the price was truly a deal!!! I was impressed with how careful they were removing things. It is so easy to mess up floors, walls, etc if things are removed carelessly. By the time they were done, their entire truck was jam packed (see pic). These guys treat the project as if their working in their own homes, which is why I hired them a second time to come clean out my apartment in Brooklyn as I was moving. I needed a heavy bed frame thrown out, a 2 piece couch, 2 glass patio tables, 2 dressers, a small table, along with miscellaneous trash in a few garbage bags. Trust me, it is easier to hire someone to do this instead of trying to coordinate throwing all of this out via street trash. Hauling it down is hard, breaking it up is even worse, but making sure santitation takes everything and avoiding tickets is close to impossible. Use these guys, you will not regret it!

I used this service to remove junk from my apartment when the lease expired. The service was quick…read moreand efficient, and all items, which included a dining room table and chairs, two couches, and various other smaller items, were removed from my apartment without issue. The "full load" option ($625) on their website was plenty of space for the junk removed. I should note however, that because my apartment was a 5th floor walk up, an extra fee of $35 an hour, per mover, was assessed. Ultimately, I only paid the $625 plus tax, as I believe my junk was below the amount of a "full load." Regardless, I did not ask questions and got an even better deal than I expected. I only have two complaints. First, I booked the junk removal service for 8am on the day of my move, as the company's website suggested that such a time was available. The day before, I was advised that time was actually booked and the movers could only come towards the end of the day (during which I had a pre-existing obligation). Luckily, we were able to figure it out and the company worked with me and my schedule to effectuate an easy junk removal, but in other instances where someone might not have as much flexibility in their schedule, I can see how these last minute changes can present serious problems. Second, the movers were quite rough removing the items from the apartment. I understand that they're junkers, and that my building did not require a certificate of insurance from them, but that does not give carte blanche authority to remove the junk as expeditiously as possible. Between slamming certain objects against the wall, or dragging others on the sidewalk so as to leave damage on the sidewalk, it seemed they were just a touch rough with regard to the building itself. Regardless of the above, I'd likely use Remove My Junk again, as they were able to get the job done for a reasonable price on the day I needed it done. Just make sure that if you're in a nicer building that they provide a certificate of insurance. You don't want to lose your deposit.
